“Such a beautiful Sunday evening dinner. Appetizers were the trio and the ravioli. Soup was tomato bisque which could use more croutons but the bread worked out fine, and French Onion soup. Entree was the Sea Bass and the Tuna. I do recommend them both, very delicious. Our wait staff took great care of us, kept our glasses full, and most of all he smiled and described our meals wonderfully.”

“AMAZING! We come to Battle Creek area a few times a year for floor hockey. First time staying in downtown Battle Creek and not familiar with all the restaurants yet. Found Pizza Rescue and they delivered to our hotel very quickly! Pizza was phenomenal! Our delivery driver was also amazing! Zero complaints!”

Parking: Pretty nice sized lot for parking, but very popular, so parking can get a little difficult sometimes.

“There's no better place I'd recommend for lunch in Battle Creek than Cafe Rica. It's never a bad day to stop in and get a rosti pollo quesadilla and a maple latte to have while enjoying the lively atmosphere, and catching up with old friends.or on classwork. Oh yeah, and they have the best (and freshest) cold brew that I've tasted. It's consistently smooth and refreshing, and you can tell that they really know what they're doing with their coffee. they have something special going on here.”

“I've worked there as well eaten there a number of times. My best friend left so there was an opening. Shawn was the server I replaced. Shawn was a awesome server she went above and beyond so I knew I had some big shoes to fill. One good thing for my advantage to is me and Shawn act a lot alike, walk alike so for a while I had to let customers know I'm hrt little sister. She is by far one of the best at what she does to make sure the guests left happy and most important they had an experience like no other. I modeled alot of her ways because being a waitress is just her title. Needless to say I had fun with the option to be her or me. Her passion goes deeper than serving a meal. It's her whole heart loving what she does best.”

“I actually helped build and create the outside patio at Umami and was treated to lunch by the owner and I tell you what I thought regular Ramen was really good LOL but Maruchan and Top Ramen don't hold a candle to umami at first I'm like wow $18 that's a little steep until I took my first bite and saw the portion, and an instant I'm like okay I get it now the price definitely correlates with the food on your plates. oh yeah and she let us drink Gatorades and stuff out of the refrigerator she was selling them we were able to help ourselves so she's really cool and definitely cares and takes pride and what she does. that's getting rare these days.”

First things first, this family is kind, personable and their service is amazing. That’s the number one thing. My lady and I ordered the meals with beans & rice. We had Jerk Chicken & Brisket. We also ordered the Caribbean Greens and Sweet Slaw. Let me tell you, the flavors in this food had me from the first bite. The rice & beans are cooked perfectly and the meat is fall apart tender & smoked to perfection. The sides are not just thrown together with the meal no… the slaw was sweet and tangy and the greens were full of flavor. This place deserves WAY more traffic. Go now!”

“We stayed the night in town and had breakfast here. It has that small town charm we love. Family and friends dinning, sheriff friendly while having his breakfast. The front counter was clear and clean. Staff was welcoming. I think Jamie or Jenny was our waitress, she was so sweet, not just to us but to everyone. She was quick too. Food was so delicious we all ate everything. I had the Irish omelette and it was amazing. I'll go back for this. Bathroom was clean and laying was quick. Big parking lot too”

We stoped by this location a few months ago, The staff answered my questions and got my order correct. The food was hot and fresh. Schlotzsky’s is one of the most underrated fast food places. Whenever I'm near one I make sure to stop by.

“Some donuts, ice cream and food. This place is a hidden gem of a place. It’s a small town ice cream shop that serves homemade donuts and hard ice cream. They also have a food menu that is very reasonably priced and tasty. I didn’t take photos of the food, but the coney dog, pulled pork sliders and French fries were delicious!!!The ice cream is always top notch and the flavor I got today, caramel apple and it was amazing. The waffle cones come plain, chocolate covered, chocolate sprinkled, or chocolate and peanuts. The plain was flavorful and thin so it was not so hard or thick to over power the ice cream.The people who work there are all very friendly and accommodating. You never feel that you’re unwelcome. Definitely a plus.The inside gives you a feel of an ice cream store in the past. It has some things inside that will remind you of some early childhood memories. The outside is done nicely with seats and tables under a covered area which allows you to mingle and eat your food.The bonus is they have all sorts of fall things for sale such as flowers and pumpkins. The also have some bean bag toss games for all to play while having a hay ride that the family can enjoy ever half hour I believe.Stop on by and enjoy a nice Sunday while enjoying some good food, ice cream and donuts. Oh, they also have pies for sale too and they were delicious last year.”

My husband went to get Biggby this morning and even though he has been with me for years to order my drink...and it isn't hard...Frozen Neopolitain with no whip...my husband couldn't exactly remember! You got to love husbands, they try! However, as soon as the batrista saw my husband's Jeep he goes oh, no your wife normally gets espresso in it, we will make a new one! This Applebee's has changed my view. This is the best Applebee's I've ever been to. Food looked almost like the pictures on the menu. It was very good & our waitress was excellent.

“I usually love the Panera sandwiches but today was a major disappointment. I ordered the Caprese vegetarian. Despite no meat it costs more than buying their bread and making your own all week. This sad thing had one thin slice of tomato, a strip of onion, one half leaf of basil and three wilted pieces of lettuce. WTH happened to the veggies?? I have heard horror stories about bad orders and finally experienced it. I ordered through Grub Hub so I could not return it but I don’t plan to order again any time soon.”

I buy a slice of torte, have to call ahead for the hard rolls and maybe a pastry. Stock up on Rudolph’s rye or leinsamen breads. Don’t care for their deli sandwiches. The only other bakery that comes close is Sarkozy’s in Kalamazoo, but not tortes there.”

I don't even k know what happen after eating one of these burgers it was that tasty, it was like I was born again, I've never tasted such a delicious burger. I'll I could eventually remember many moons later was that it had a cool fun name and served out of big boy. After so much searching for this place since I tasted true heavenly flavor,... I find it. We got the Pad Thai with Chicken and Drunken Noodles with beef. Both were really good. The flavor was good and the quantity is plenty.

We also got the veg spring rolls. They were huge (failed to take photo) and the outside was done perfectly with crisp, however the middle was still a bit cold. Still ate them!

Worth a try and a good Thai option for the area! We will be back.”

I was hoping that I was going to be able to redeem an expired coupon, and I had gotten out of the queue after it was explained that I wouldn't be able to. Taylor, the clerk was very polite, and she handled it rationally. I wasn't trying to be rude, I just was attempting to redeem an old coupon. I do appreciate this local business, and will return later down the line.

Really it was all a sunk cost fallacy, time spent on the coupons, and time spent with the coupons in my wallet being a "Loss". It's really a silly way to look at it all, but I do enjoy using the coupons, and I do truly appreciate how to situation was handled.
