“Nobody should have a bad review on this place. The food is amazing. Fast service. In these tough times with food cost, there's no skimping here - I expect to have seen my shrimp fried rice with shrimp that you need a magnifying glass. These were whole shrimp as big as your finger! This restaurant knows how to treat customer's.“
“We came here for our anniversary and had a good experience. I loved the staycation cocktail, the calamari and the the sea scallops were the best I’ve ever had. Sadly the lamb appetizer was over cooked and the prime rib was chewy. Not great. It was also served with burnt hummus. Our waitress was good to me but seemed irritated with us that the steak wasn’t great. We won’t be rushing back any time soon. But we love Detroit and trying new restaurants.“
“Outstanding food, great service, extremely cozy (maybe 2 dozen seats?). Started with a variety of oysters (the housemade kimchi was excellent), followed by tinned tuna belly with their housemade briny jardiniere, ending with maybe the best lobster roll I've ever had (no mayo, some chili oil heat) and perfectly prepared broccolini. The broccolini was actually on the tasting menu but they were generous enough to make it as a standalone side for us because we wanted to experience enough other things. Can't say enough good things about our dinner. Cocktails and dessert were really good too, though the dinner was on a level above.“
“Absolutely amazing! We had the chefs choice 6 course meal with the wine pairing plus dessert and espresso. The staff was great from the moment we entered. Our Sommelier was knowledgeable about every wine and described everything perfectly plus answered every question we had. Our waitress was funny and super personable and made the meal enjoyable.“
“My husband took me here for a belated birthday celebration. He's from the area and we were visiting my in-laws but don't live in town. It was a blast. It was Ramadan and we heard that sometimes there can be a long wait, so we got there early. We got lucky and there wasn't a wait, but that meant we had to wait to eat. :) Our waitress (Olivia I want to say?) was amazing. When I explained, she said we could order and she would time everything to come out at break fast time - boy did she! Down to the second! :)We ordered the famous table-side caesar salad and it was made by Chris, one of the owners. What a lovely gentlemen. We had a nice little chat while he was making the salads.Our steaks and sides were also perfectly cooked and amazing.We were also there when the trumpet/vocalist was there - which was also wonderful.Everything about this place was great and we'll probably go back the next time we're in town. “I ordered a crab boil for the first time yesterday and I’m back here a day later ordering 2 more crab boil bags. Everything was so delicious, lol I couldn’t stop eating. “I’m so picky and maru hits every-time. Our waitress Vanessa today was adorable, ambiance is a 10/10. The sushi guys sing and bring the best vibes!! Perfect for 21+ date nightupdate 2/20 I keep coming back i’ve been here at least 12 times in the last 12 months. I have so many good thing to say about Maru and Venessa, we had here again tonight ❤️❤️— with that being said I am BEGGING the new :) chef to switch the crème brûlée from the eggnog flavor. I’ve tried the lemon and the eggnog. It’s past valentine’s day, we’re just not feeling the eggnog anymore ?? please give us the lemon back or plain!! ??“
“As soon as we sat down the server came right over and took care of us. The food came out quick and tasted fresh! Ive passed by this place a ton and glad I finally stopped to have dinner! It's very bright, and clean inside. The theme gives off a vacation feel right at home. Would definitely recommend!“
