“The place is busy on Wednesday @ 1 p.m.I was greeted quickly and by a friendly woman, shown to a seat immediately.I'd planned to get a couple of Coneys but saw the little display for Lenten specials. It had walleye on it so I never even picked up the regular menu, just ordered the sandwich straight away.While I awaited my order,I noticed several servers greeting & conversing with what were obviously regular customers. “Took five nephews to the zoo so we had lunch here. We got them hot dogs and french fries but I wish we could have just gotten the hot dog. Some of them didn't eat the fries at all. Could have shared them because expensive as it was it would have been nice it was a quiet Monday after school has been in session so there wasn't that many people there“
“Staff was friendly, and the waitress was nice and the food was amazing. No long wait time. My teenage daughter was unhappy with the choice that she made and the waitress seen the disappointment on her face. It wasn't big enough or didnt look fulfilling, so the waitress asked her if she would like something else and of course she did ( smh teenagers) she came right out and she was happy that was very kind of her of you ask me. No charge for the other dish which made my wallet happy too. Overall great place to eat and kid friendly.Kid-friendliness: They are very accommodating when it comes to the children little juice boxes cups with lids and when available crayons and coloring sheets. I would eat here everyday if I could.Parking: It's right at Russell on the corner of Eastern Market, so on the weekends when everyone comes down to the market, it can be hard to find parking. “The MOST DELICIOUS burger place in the area. My favorite is the Shack Mac Burger from the Burger Shack menu! So much flavor!There's also the Aljoom BBQ menu! My favorite from there is the Detroiter Brisket Sub! The meat melts while you're eating it! It's really something special!There's plenty of side options that are delicious as well. “My mom and I stopped in to pick up a carryout after running errands. Wow! The service was incredible. The cashier/waitress was friendly and took our order right away. She was cheerful and polite. Within a few minutes our order was ready to go. The other waitress walked out to-go order over to us. Very good customer service and our lunch was fantastic, hot and fresh. This is great to know since we're over in the area quite frequently. Plus, I saw in the cooler they had slices of cake and pie that looked beyond delicious. Unless you live in a post covid time inflation is out the roof so bad where it cost near 100 dollars for a family of 4 to eat at a border line fast food establishment.. its not about if you can afford it or not it's about what's right and what's wrong and charging families and customers this is crazy .. five guys you get 4 stars because your quality is usually always on point but this unjustice you are inflicting on our communities by charging so much is criminal so do better this year do better“

“Was looking for a new place to grab a quick snack before going to the movies, and Sidecar Slider Bar did not disappoint! We stuck to the shareable menu because we planned on eating a ridiculous amount of popcorn, and the items we picked were amazing! We went with the waffle truffle parmesan fries, roasted balsamic and blue cheese Brussel sprouts, and southwest egg rolls. The truffle fries were absolutely hands down the best parmesan truffle fries I have had, and I have had them at a few different establishments. They were hot, fresh, big, and I loved that they were tossed in a truffle oil AND covered with a parmesan truffle sauce instead of just a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. The Brussel sprouts were really good. They also come with bacon, but we aren't pork eaters, so we ordered them without, but they were still awesome! The balsamic and blue cheese crumble complimented the crispy Brussel sprouts well. Last but not least , the southwest egg rolls. They came with a side of sour cream and a zesty spicy ranch type dressing. They were great, stuffed with the perfect amount of black beans, corn, chicken, cheese, and spices. When they say shareable, they mean it because those three dishes had the two of us extremely full and needing a brisk walk before heading to the movies to fill up on movie theater treats! In all, it was a great new restaurant experience that I will definitely return to have. The wait staff was awesome, and the place was clean, and the vibes were great.
