“I been to this place a few times and the service and food is always great! My last visit here we had a party group of around 12-15 people and I proposed to my now fiance that night. The Manager and staff at Mito helped me plan and organize an engagement surprise that turned out better than I could've imagined! It was a night we will NEVER forget!! I highly recommend this place for a large group or even just a date night! Food, service, and atmosphere is awesome and they also have an outstanding mocktail selection as well!!“

“This is one of my Top 3 Favorite Restaurants in the Twin Cities metro. I've been coming here for roughly 7 years or so.It's a cozy hole-in-the-wall restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. They have outdoor seating when it's nice out. Sometimes there can be a line to get a table since it's a rather small place. Decor is basic, but you won't care with the good food, friendly staff, and cozy feel.Wednesdays are "Date Night" at the restaurant, so there are discounts. My favorite meal is the Saltado with steak/beef (you can also get it with other meat or vegetarian). I don't know if I've ever ordered anything different because it's so amazing! If you order it, make sure to mix everything in the sauce on the bottom of the place, and I recommend saving the tomato for your final bite, because it absorbs the most flavor during the cooking process and it's like a hidden surprise within the meal. The plantains are also delicious, and their Tres Leches is perfect for a light dessert to share if you're fairly full.If I had one complaint, it would be that their wine choices could be a little better, but I believe they're trying to keep cost-conscious options on the menu. I'm a big fan of Chilean and Argentinean reds. Their Argentinean Malbec is ok for its price-point; however, the flavor of the Saltado will far outweigh the need for a better wine, so I'm ok with the wine not being better. My wife almost always gets their Encocado with Mahi Mahi.Vegetarian options: All I know is that my favorite dish, the "Saltado with beef/steak" also has a vegetarian option.Parking: There is a small free lot (roughly 8-10 spots), but it's rather tight, so I recommend parking on the street unless you have a compact car. There's some street parking right next to the lot, or you can parking on the street around the corner past the lot and walk a little.“

“Chips and salsa: it’s fun to try all of the different flavors, however, you’d probably be best ordering a flight of three instead. For the most part, they weren’t particularly flavorful although the avocado jalapeño had a nice kickBurrito: excellent! although, it would be nice if it were printed on the menu that it comes with various protein / veggie options. This was a bit ambiguous up until we orderedTacos: our favorite was the shrimp taco, however, both the asada and al pastor were enjoyed. The asada was slightly on the saltier side however with some pieces cooked inconsistently.Puerco adobado: very tender however quite salty on its own. When eaten with the rice and salsa the dish balanced out nicely. It would’ve been nice to have a bit of a stronger seasoningElote: beautiful presentation and well-enjoyedChurros: our favorite part of the meal by far. While the chocolate abuelita is pretty standard, the churros came out fresh and were absolutely delicious. The service was extremely kind and accommodating. We placed our churros order 10 min after the kitchen had closed and they were still willing to serve us.El Sazon was a great restaurant to try and we definitely plan on returning!Vegetarian options: Many dishes are customizable to be vegetarian!“

“This is such a cute cafe with amazing food! Counter service with self serve water. The staff was very friendly and speedy with my food. I highly recommend the pork. It was soo tender it just fell apart. The seasoning was subtle with just the right amount of saltiness. The rice and beans were bland but were a good carb to soak up the juiciness of the pork. The sweet plantains were perfect in every way. They had beautifully crunchy bottoms from being fried. The arepa con queso was good. There is a sweetness with the butter and maybe in the corn masa itself. Its very dense and rich, i would recommend splitting with a friend if possible.“

“We came to El Aguila for a late dinner, hungry and looking forward to settling down for a good meal. The restaurant was empty, quiet and calm. We were seated quickly, and served complimentary crispy chips and spicy salsa while we looked over the menu. The menu was pretty extensive, with many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The prices were quite high, around $15-$20 per item, definitely a bit much but we decided to give it a chance. We ordered a burrito and a combo that had papusas and tamales, a good amount of food to share. The food came quickly and was hot, delicious, and well-presented.We left happy with our order, though feeling like it may have been a bit overpriced. We hope to come again some time and try breakfast perhaps. ?“

The trio meal is my go-to and I like to switch up my sides between yucca fries, sweet plantains and campero rice and add a horchata when I dine in. I hear they're expanding with more locations in the cities too. I'm not big on fast food, but this place hits right. Dine in vibe as expected for fast food joint and they have a drive thru.“

“Been to this place several times and it has never disappointed when I'm craving Latin cuisine. The service is spectacular and give great suggestions if you want to try somewhere new. Can be a bit loud at night and unfortunately for our server and my kiddos it was a bit embarrassing to have some fifty year olds talking like sailors yelling orders at the poor server. We gave her a big tip and she said it made her night. She apologized for those guests. Was not her fault at all as she did a wonderful job. Ambiance is pretty much like every other bar and Latin restaurant. The chips and salsa are ok as the salsa is not my favorite, but that is the only thing that is mediocre. It's also complementary so can you really complain lol? My go to is the carnitas which is so full of flavor and absolutely delicious. This time I went with on a suggestion by our server the Sopes. They let me pic a couple different meats to top it too. I went with the Al pastor and birria shredded beef. Absolutely lovely and the pineapple in the Al pastor was so fresh. Amazing! My wife got the ceviche and said the flavor was good and her only complaint was that the shrimp was over cooked. So a bit of a downer their and not raw fish like most. So ok but not their best. My mother in law got camarones your way with the spicy sauce. This if you like spice it was a home run. Delicious flavor and large quantities of everything. Very good. My son got the carne asada burrito and it was huge. He loved it. His only complaint (he could live off beans) was that there was not enough beans. He said it would also be better if they were black beans instead of refried. My little 8 year old food critic lol. No joke of you are looking for good quality Latin food that is reasonably priced this is a great place to go. Never been disappointed.“

“This is a good authentic latina resturantIt serves food dishes that you would expect to find in northern S. AMERICA like Colombia ?? Ecuador?? and venezuela ?? area.I was very happy to eat food made with Plantain. The flavor of the foods, how its seasoned is like you would get the flavor at a local latina restaurant abroad. It is located in a decent part of Minneapolis, not downtown, but not a bad area to park at and walk. Not that all of this was on the menu but i am a fan of plantain dishes like patacónes, bolón de queso, tigrillo, platano frito ect and i am happy that I was able to order something made from plantain. The restaurant has nice booths with coat hangers on the side, the seat is comfortable. The music was nice, happy and goes perfect with the food and culture of what this resturant is representing.I was able to order a Maracuya drink that You don't find at a lot of latino restaurants. It's a good resturant; the kind of place that you can request something that may not be on the menu and they can figure out how to make it for you, if I plan to eat out again for this kind of food I will go back.Kid-friendliness: There is a section with kids menu.“
