“I really loved my time here. The staff was very friendly and approachable. They were more than happy to help with games or menus questions. The overall atmosphere was very laid back. My guest and I were there from about 4 pm to 10 pm, and no one pressured us to order anything. They kept our water craft filled and occasionally popped in for friendly conversation. Their color coded flag system at the table is an Ingenous idea to alert staff to your needs. I really appreciate not having to scan the room like an anxious child looking for my server and begging for eye contact so I can flag them down. If you are someone with severe social anxiety like my guest, this Is a pretty solid place.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian sloppy Joe sliders were very good.“

They were delicious and the meat sauce was really flavorful. I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. I’m also a huge fan of the beer battered fries. The rest of our table ordered the gyro sandwich and gyro salad. Both were incredible-some of the best gyro meat I’ve ever had. The service was fast and friendly and I thought the prices were reasonable for the what had. I will definitely be back.“

“I visited with my elementary school children for a concert. There will be a security check by staff at the entrance. Minors are welcome to use the venue if accompanied by a parent, but once they leave the venue after 9pm, they will not be able to re-enter. A small bag is best for luggage. The inside of the venue wasn't that big, it wasn't too small, it was just the right size! There is an area with chairs and tables, and the front rows are close to the stage, so it's a good idea to arrive early to secure a space there. The standing area is relatively close to the stage no matter where you view it, especially if you can secure space. There are restrooms inside the venue and a stylish bar counter. After the concert, it was already past 10pm, so I stayed at the Moonrise hotel next door, which was really convenient as it was just a short walk away! This street is lined with stylish cafes and restaurants, making it perfect for sightseeing.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Amazing"If I could give Polite Society 6 stars, I would! ? This has officially become my favorite spot in St. Louis for a romantic, memorable dinner with someone special. ? My girlfriend and I rarely return to the same restaurant, always eager to explore new flavors, but Polite Society left us craving more after our first visit. We simply had to come back - and let me tell you, it was just as incredible the second time around! ?Decor ?Stepping into Polite Society is like entering a whimsical world where the past and present collide in the most stunning way. ? The massive, multi-tiered bar immediately catches your eye, with its precariously stacked shelves bearing an impressive array of spirits. ? It's a sight that leaves you both in awe and slight trepidation, as if a gentle breeze might send it all tumbling down. ? Venture upstairs to the dining area, and you'll find yourself surrounded by a captivating blend of exposed brick, iconic wallpaper, and eclectic decor that transports you to a charming 19th-century home. ? The ambiance is truly one-of-a-kind, making Polite Society one of the most beautiful restaurants we've had the pleasure of dining in. ?Service ?‍♂️On both occasions, the service at Polite Society has been nothing short of fantastic. ? The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations and ensure that your dining experience is top-notch. ? They strike the perfect balance between being present when you need them and allowing you to enjoy your meal and conversation uninterrupted. ?Food ?️Now, let's talk about the real star of the show: the food! ? During our visits, there's always been at least one dish that leaves us utterly speechless. ? On our first visit, the cauliflower starter was a 10/10 - simply incredible! ? The steak with Brussels sprouts and fries was so mind-blowingly delicious that we almost ordered it again on our second visit. ?? Trust me, if you try this dish, you'll be tempted to stick with it forever! Our second visit (photos included!) began with a lovely broccolini dish that we thoroughly enjoyed. ? The mixed green salad that followed was a hit with me, although my girlfriend wasn't quite as enthusiastic. ?‍♂️ We concluded our meal with the Ragù Mafalda, which had great flavor but suffered from inconsistent temperature. ? Some bites were pleasantly warm, while others were a bit too cool for our liking. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall quality of the food at Polite Society is undeniable. ?In Retrospect ?Polite Society has solidified its place as our go-to spot for a romantic and memorable dinner in St. Louis. ? The enchanting atmosphere, impeccable service, and delectable cuisine create an experience that keeps us coming back for more. While not every dish has been perfect, the overall quality and creativity of the menu are truly impressive. ? If you're looking for a restaurant that combines stunning ambiance with culinary excellence, Polite Society is the place for you! ?Final Verdict: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - "Amazing"A whimsical dining experience that will leave you craving more! ?✨“

“I’m giving everything five stars because the food and beer were good and the staff excellent, save one a-hole manager. Basically we were there on a busy running club night, and as a family of 4 having just arrived to St. Louis looking for dinner, we popped into Heavy Riff to give it a try. We waited in line with everyone else at the “front counter” and a lovely female bartender waited on us and let us know we could grab a table and then she’d help us on the side of the bar where it’d be less hectic for us to order (since we had kids in tow). This was very thoughtful and accommodating of her in the masses of young runners. We met her there and she offered great advice on what to order for kids (spice levels) and as a vegetarian. We were about halfway through ordering when Rick (I got his name later since he ruined the vibe of our experience) butted in and told her she was supposed to be taking orders at the front counter not side bar (about 4 feet away) and said she had to get back there. By his command she had to leave us hanging to wait for the “proper” bartender to take our order which was a few minutes later. He didn’t offer to help. Meanwhile as the staff was slammed with orders this Rick jerk just stood in the back and reined over the staff. He didn’t lift a finger. Even later when I went to settle the tab at the bar he stood at his throne position in the back scrolling, messaging on his phone. (Super unprofessional) I was standing right next to him and he didn’t ask if he could help me. I sure hope Rick isn’t the owner because if he is I would hope employees would quit. Rather, to the owner, it is time to find yourself a new manager as Rick is useless and frankly ruined the good energy we had going. I felt for the staff that had to deal with his power trip. Though we are staying fairly close by, we won’t be back.“

The atmosphere was inviting with gas lit wall lights, a center bar with booths and high tops. Autumn was a wonderful server. She was so pleasant and informative. We really enjoyed having her as our server. Happy hour is from 4 to 6. We tried the fried meatballs, which were great. The lemon ravioli and the shrimp pasta dish were both delicious. Prices were reasonable. When you dine, the food taste and quality are top priority, but when the food is phenomenal and the service and atmosphere are just as good, it makes the experience memorable. We ended up returning on our second night! Julie was our server and we really enjoyed her, too. She was helpful and interested in our satisfaction! We tried the Brussel sprouts, an heirloom salad with delicious bread. Our entrees were the butcher steak and the burger. The steak was wood fired and super tender! The burger was delicious. The fries and shishito peppers were very good. We highly recommend this hidden gem and thank Autumn and Julie for making our stay in St. Louis so memorable! “We went here before 'Twas the Night. We ate at the bar and Chris took care of us. There were 7 of us and everything was done in a timely manner. Chris did a fantastic job of entertaining us while we waited. The Cesar Salad was the best I've ever had! We will definitely be going back! Great job Chris.“

“Coltranes has always been a pretty laid back place. The place has been around since I was kid. During the day it's not real loud or anything. They have 2 pool tables and a few golfing machines. If you're looking for a place to relax, be able to talk without yelling and enjoy some food then this would definitely be a place to check out.“

“Westport social is a drinking and dining experience unlike anywhere else i can think of.The atmosphere exudes a uniquely fun - with games such as bocci ball, shuffle board and basket ball (yes),yet classy finishes and excellent food and cocktail options. Add the fact there are massive sports laiden televisions on every wall - the business meeting rooms upstairs become all the the more alluring as a team building event.I really appreciate this place, needed in the market!5 ?“

“Really cool place with good food. I enjoyed being able to try different drinks. I don’t drink beer but they even have a wall for cocktails and wine. It’s a cool concept. We had several different pizzas at our table. All of them were delicious but I thought the maple bourbon pig was the best. We will definitely be back.“

“One of my very favorite bars! I've been here multiple times and I'm always happy visiting and spending time here. The vibe is upbeat but chill, and they have a great year round patio. This visit in particular was on Mardi Gras, which was a great spot to have a couple drinks without actually heading down to Soulard. We sat on the heated patio and had a couple of drinks and were able to chat while still hearing one another. Bartenders are always helpful and friendly, and they have a good selection of beverages. I typically go for the 4Hands seltzers since they're my fav. It got to be super packed full of Mardi Gras go-ers, so we headed out after about an hour and a half. Always a good choice!“

“Judy does a wonderful job with the bar and makes everyone feel comfortable and safe when out for a good time. The Pub is probably my favorite bar ever, but then again I might be biased as I have many friends and family members that have all frequented the place in the past as well as currently. But it really feels like an extension of home every time I visit.Parking: Park in front or around the side and if you have to you can even park in back.“

“????? It's about a two-hour drive from my home, but whenever I find myself passing through the area and craving some top-notch sushi, Sushi AI is my go-to destination! I must admit, until last year, I was completely unaware that Sushi AI belonged to a chain. This revelation surprised me, given the quality of service they consistently provide—swift, amiable, and exceptional. It's the level of dedication and passion they pour into their offerings that had me convinced it was a quaint, family-owned establishment. They boast an extensive menu, catering to a wide array of tastes, and even offer an 'all-you-can-eat', order-as-you-go option which is an incredible deal. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or someone looking to explore the cuisine, Sushi AI promises an experience that's both satisfying and delightful.“
