“We recently got a big order for a little shindig we were having. The people were nice, the process was smooth, and the food was an absolute hit. We have been here a number of times and will continue to but this was such a positive experience I had to leave a review :)“

“This rock and roll themed taco joint is a hidden gem on the hill - right at Kingshighway & Shaw. The tacos are creatively named and delicious. A long bar serves up great Paloma’s and the entire menu! Get here and meet owners Wil and Becca!“

“Ordered a carne asada burrito, chicken burrito, chips and queso, and two margaritas (strawberry and regular). Everything was fantastic. Burritos are huge, queso and chips just how I like them and margaritas were very tasty. There tomatillo salsa had just the right balance of flavor and heat. The team was very friendly and efficient. I’m definitely going back . . . often!“

“We had such a great experience at BLT’s! The loaded chicken and biscuits were amazing. The chorizo and egg taco was to die for! The chicken and waffles were on point too— if you’re into that! We washed it all down with tasty mimosas and a Bloody Mary. Corey (unsure of spelling) took care of us the whole time while we were seated at the bar and made our time so fun! 10/10 recommend for a top notch brunch experience.“

“Dined here for the first time last night. Salsa was delish, margaritas was fantastic (got the Mezcal. They were out of tajin, but it was still excellent with salt). Enjoyed the tacos and the street corn. 10 out of 10! Looking forward to dining here again.“

“Had a great experience around 6:30pm on Friday night. It was pretty busy with a line to the door, however, the only reason the wait seemed long was because I was hungry and the menu looked so good! When we got to the front counter we were greeted by a nice, very hard working female. Food came quick after we ordered! My husband and I shared the Locoz fries with asada. This was my personal favorite. The fries were nice and crispy (not soggy at all). I loved the pico on the fries as well as their special sauce! Great ratio of steak, cheese, sauce, pico, etc. we also shared three gringo tacos (tinga, pastor, Camaron). My favorite was the pastor and my husband's favorite was the camaron which is shrimp. Beware, these tacos are messy ! Grab lots of napkins. The last thing we ordered was a side of esquites. It wasn't my favorite version of esquites but it was pretty tasty. I think next time I would have topped my tacos with it or tried a different side Next time I want to try either a quesadilla or burrito. They looks AMAZING!! Both big and cheesy!! They also have bottled drinks. I'm not a big beverage fan but this always excites my husband. He got a grapefruit Jarrito (picture of the beverage menu are listed with a picture of the cooler) Parking was hard on a Friday night. We parked across the street in the schnucks parking lot but there is also street parking“
“Very nondescript bar on McKelvey road across the street from Maryland Heights Community Center. This was formerly The Drinking Horn and they have preformed wonders inside/ It's clean , roomy with new tables plenty of TVs for sports viewing and the best bartenders around especially Ronnie! They have Trivia at 7:30 on Thursday evenings and Karaoke on Friday They pour a respectable drink , offer pizza for purchase or you can bring in outside food. If you're in the area give them a try you might just like it.“

“We were in town for volleyball. We had 30 people that went in for dinner at 5:00 on a Friday. They were very accommodating. The service was excellent. Reja was a rockstar handling all of us!!!Everyone enjoyed their food. Margaritas were super good!!“
“Small hidden gem that serves amazing authentic Mexican food. We walked in before closing and still got seated with amazing service. The food was delicious and fresh. The menu is on the smaller side but the food is tasty. I highly recommend getting the horchata to drink since they do make it fresh from scratch. The ambiance of the restaurant made you feel right at home with traditional Mexican decor. The staff was quick and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.“

“Excellent sandwiches and great service. I had the Muenster Melt, and it was simple but fantastically executed and constructed. The folks behind the counter were kind and our sandwiches came out quick. If you’re considering getting sandwiches for lunch, instead of throwing your money at one of the big corporate franchises, hit up Mound City for an affordable, high-quality experience. Places like these are too few nowadays, especially in STL.“

“Mission Taco Joint did not disappoint! My son and I were in from Chicago for a soccer tournament and decided to try it out. We started with the Carne Asada Steak Fries and OMG! The meat was cooked to perfection. We then picked out some tacos to share. I have to say these are some of the best tacos I have ever eaten. My absolute favorites were the Chicken BBQ and the BLT. These 2 are a must try. The sides We ordered were street corn and the cilantro lime rice and they were right up there with everything. The service was great too! Sangria...YUM. Check this place out if you're ever in MO. You'll be glad you did.“

“This place is always happening! Loud music but they still hear me just fine! In the gay district so lively fun group of customers! My daughter eats here every single week and I just started trying their food. She loves the Arroz Con Pollo and I found the Chicken Quesadilla that was delicious! We will be back! We always eat there late night. One of the few places serving savory food late night!“

“The food is so amazingly flavorful and delicious! I was stuck on the pasta. But I just tried the stuffed turkey leg and I have a new love. My turkey leg was seasoned to perfection, and tender. Plus, it included my favorite chicken pasta. The atmosphere is so chill. You can get a cocktail and listen to some good music, watch the game, have a date night with your boo, brunch with your friends, or rent out the space for a private event! Lilly Peez is a one-stop shop! Check them out!“
“This was unexpectedly delicious and priced reasonably for the area. It’s a bit of a tourist trap. We had beef, carnitas, & fish tacos. The crispy beef were fire ?. The carnitas were juicy but lacked flavor. The fish taco needed a little something extra like watercress or a sturdier helping of slaw to balance the sauce. But it was still pretty good. It’s al fresco, so there’s a lot to see while you munch and crunch. Fun place!“

“Wound up at Jaxels after pulling off the highway to get some sleep at the hotel across the street - this place is an absolute sleeper. Amazing authentic Mexican, great breakfast. The outside needs love, but the family who inherited this place is lovely, hard working, and great cooks! Had the chilaquiles my wife the omelette, we took the street burrito to go and their homemade brownies - amazing home cooked vibes across all.“
