Prices are more than reasonable considering the high quality if the food they serve and the portions.“

“Fitz is a local burger root beer & ice cream store with two locations. It's very popular for their outrageously large floats.My lunch visit was at their Delmar Loop location off the WashU Campus. I was seated quickly once I entered. My friendly waitress had menus and got a drink order. The dining room was full on my weekday encounter. Everything appeared clean.My order was a single cheeseburger & fries. I asked for a recommendation on a few floats. I settled in on a S'more's cherry soda float. I decided on an app last second and got the pretzel bites.My float and pretzel bites hit within 5 minutes or so. Wow, it was both stunning and intimidating. You cannot let this monster melt. So I was all over it in a bit of a frenzy. The pretzel bites were so good!My burger and fries hit within 10 minutes, or so which was excellent! However, I felt compelled to stay on top of the float to get it under control. The burger was just ok, was lukewarm by the time I could get to it. Fries were ok. I felt the food was mediocre.I would likely return. 3.5 rounding up.Parking: Parking in front of their store“

“One of favorite restaurants. Amazing prices for such excellent food. The chef is creative and talented and we feel so lucky to have her and this restaurant. One of our favorite dishes is the smoked cauliflower starter. Not usually a big fan of cauliflower, but you have to taste it to believe it. The presentation is stunning as well. The mustard seeds and radish are perfect touches.“

“We realize it was Valentine's Day, so that may have been the culprit here. But... we were encouraged to order all our courses up front, which we won't do again. Each subsequent course arrived long before we were finished with the previous one, leading to a crowded table and a sense of being rushed, which wasn't what we were seeking for a VD meal.... Food delicious, wait staff lovely, all else good. But timing of the courses was oblivious to the pace of consumption.“

“Just finished dinner and it was great. Our waitress was wonderful as was the bus boy. I had the bacon lettuce & tomato sandwich with fries and a cup of their wonderful potato soup. Wish I had gotten the bowl it was so good. I'll know better next time to get the bowl. Plus we shared an order of potato skins which were also very good. Highly recommed their food and service.“

“Usually exceptional service and food. Been to many Sybergs, many times including this one. I believe they had been extremely busy throughout dinner. My party arrived around 8pm. Out of baked potatoes, that happens. “Ice & Fuel is my go-to spot for what I feel is the best burger in STL. The cooked-to-order freshness is outstanding. With fresh, crisp vegetables and sides, it's hard to beat. If your cardiologist is more forgiving than mine, get a side of onion rings! Drinks are cheaper than most places and the pours are perfect. The staff is always courteous and attentive. Frequent visits and you'll be remembered - that's a great part of going here. My one complaint: It is loud. Very loud. Between 5 and 7 you're probably not going to have a few cocktails and catch up with friends. If yelling people is your thing, you'll love it! Overall Ice & Fuel is a great, underrated beer and burger joint. Check it out!“

“We had dinner here before seeing a show in Kirkwood. This was our first time eating here and loved it! I have to eat gluten free so had the salmon and it was delicious!! My fiancé had the pasta with clams and said it was really good too. I would recommend eating here whenever you're looking for a nice place for dinner!“

Leads me to believe everything I ate was made in advance and had been sitting around. The waffles were completely cold and soggy and the chicken lost all of its crispiness. “Old school bar/restaurant! Smell of cigs and cold beer can get any better reminds me of childhood because I was born in 70's Wed and Saturday the best fried chicken you ever ate! You get mashed potatoes and green beans. The fried mushrooms are bomb with the horseradish dip. Cheeseburger is strong! The Willy onion rings are fabulous. It ain't fancy but the food/cold drinks are the main attraction. Sits by a train track hear the whistle! Service is fast and friendly! Family owned.“
