“First of all, the burgers and onion rings are delicious. hands down some of the best burgers my wife and I have had. (no food picture because unfortunately we devour it :D) We aren't from Kansas City, we live in Wichita, however, our infant girl is a patient at Children's Mercy in KC, and has been for several months now. My wife can only visit on weekends (I work remotely so I can stay here with the baby), and Danny's has become one of our goto date spots for lunch. There aren't many things that can take my wife's mind off our situation but Danny's has been an awesome experience every time just for their food and service alone, and that had been a bright spot for her in an otherwise not so fun time.“

As the owner will tell you "giving the people what they want is what keeps a line forming at his window." “We have been to strips several times, and on a few occasions brought friends with us. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff members are so friendly and helpful. I love the chicken strips and the honey mustard sauce. My son and husband were so happy when we found strips because they LOVE the gluten free chicken nuggets, fries and onion strips. “A true hole in the wall. We stopped in close to closing after a day at the zoo. The guy was still very friendly. We had the mac &cheese stuffed turkey leg, fish, and wings. It was all delicious. The only complaint is the turkey leg or mac & cheese was a bit too salty for all our tastes. The rest was spot on with seasoning and was hot and crispy. The turkey leg was still totally something I will get again, ill just get two bottles of water.“

We started with the Not-So-Standard Potato Chip appetizer served with three sauces. I ordered the 7 ounce Filet with cremini mushrooms, roasted garlic, creamy kale, blue cheese, dijon cream sauce, served on a bed of potatoes. My partner ordered the half grilled chicken entree with a lemon brine & sauce and roasted potatoes. We didn't order dessert, but I have ordered dessert at the mouth watering spot before and you definitely want to end your meal with one! “My friend and I were starving and were going to settle for some mediocre fast food. Chickn n Waffle was right next to us, so we decided to give it a shot. The expectations were low because the building looked outdated and was right next to a weak dispensary. Upon looking it up on google, I was surprised to see it had 4.7 stars! Could it be a stoners paradise? Or could the food really that good? We ordered boneless chicken wings with the Asian chili sauce. The young lady taking our order was as sweet as a belle and had us pull aside for our wings to be freshly fried. A nice gentleman brought out our order with a smile and we unveiled the contents of the takeout container in the parking lot, only to be pleasantly surprised with the portion size and shiny glaze on the inside wings with sesame seeds and thick crispy fries. We tried a fry first and it was crunchy on the outside and a pillow on the inside. Immediately taken back with how perfect the fries were. One dunk into the ranch with a boneless wing, it headed straight for me mouth. Jesus must’ve been in that kitchen, because that was the juiciest, freshest, perfectly seasoned, most amazing chicken wing I’ve ever had. I will come here again. Enjoy.
