“Wow, this place is a great little spot! We went on Easter and it was good service, good food, and clean. We met the owner Brandon and he was pleasant, professional, and personable. The staff were very attentive and kind. Thank you so much for serving us, Christian! We look forward to our next visit!“
“Great drinks served quickly. Last time I was there , they made sure to get our order right even if it made re making it. Someone was in the drive through taking orders. So they would be ready when you got up to the window. Not much atmosphere since it is a drive through coffee place. Other than that, you can't really ask for more.“
“The girl who has been working here alone on Tuesday mornings deserves to be treated like every day is her birthday. I've seen her handle a long line of customers without seeming the least bit flustered. When things are slow, she'll joke around with you. She is an inspiration.“
“8/23/23I come here maybe once a week..So it's been a while iv had bad experience. Besides beginning of August I swear the lunch I had that day made me sick..So today I asked for jalapenos on my double quarter pounder. It was 50 cents and as I was paying I laughed about its 50 cents and I bet only three comes on it.. I was correct. 16.6 cents a slice. I noticed one was a little different it's because it was the end of the pepper where the stem is and it should have been thrown away.. so end up being 25 cent slices..The end cap cut was facing straight up so they seen it and not gave two f's that day.. Don't get me wrong I'm not just complaining to complain. It cost me money. ?Photo in review for proof! ?-------------------6/1/23I'm not sure what happened last time. Probably them and I having a bad day. Iv been going here for while now. No issues. Lately anyway.Keep it up!------------------2019/2000Fake food and bad service.. the one in Raytown has to be the worst ever... Orders is always wrong. Food is bad. And I've counted 14 workers once yet took them 23 minutes to get my food out. They all looked confused?“
“Fried food isn't always fresh, but if you request your items be fresh and don't mind a short wait then they will be happy to do so! Ice cream, shakes, and smoothies are outrageously over-priced. But isn't everything nowadays? Lol ?“
“*Drive-Thru Review Only* I stopped here because its close to my babies school & I wanted some coffee before I picked her up! I got French Vanilla Iced Coffee & a Wake Up Wrap! It was sooo delicious. The lady over the speaker was so patient with me because I could no decide on what I wanted. But I'm glad I got the wrap, it was hot, the bread was soft & flaky.. I loved it. Yelp gave me a free donut for visiting & so I got a chocolate covered sprinkled one for my daughter, she will be excited to have this treat after school! I will be there more as they are really close, so I hope to keep having positive experiences!“
“I love coming to Anchor Island Coffee. The atmosphere is welcoming, inclusive, and queer owned. All the staff I have met are very friendly. They have the best iced carmel oatmilk latte in the area, and their buffalo chicken quesadilla is delicious. The downstairs area is quite small but there is plenty of seating upstairs. There are often pop ups of local vendors in the downstairs area as well. I have seen a variety of items from art, jewelry, soaps, and candles. There is lots of free/non-metered street parking, but how full it is can depend on the time/day and other events happening nearby. Usually I have no problem parking very close on a Saturday afternoon but on occasion I have had to circle the block.Parking: Street parking all around the shop and nearby blocks. Can be difficult depending on the time of day, day of the week, and any other events that may be happening nearby. There is a lot behind the building but I am unsure if it is public or for employees only.Wheelchair accessibility: Very tight space downstairs, but could be workable. The upstairs would be completely inaccessible.“
“If you've ever thought to yourself "I could go for something sweet" TWO SUGARS is a must. First thing I noticed walking in was good music. Paired with Great coffee, and what may be the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. It was worth the visit.“
“I come here frequently after getting groceries, one lady remembers me now and knows exactly what I order. I tried something new and it was delicious, I went to reorder it today and I accidentally ordered a tea instead of a latte. I did not like the tea and they made me a new drink even though it was my fault. I love this little shop! The Brown Sugar Boba Latte is my favorite. It is a small shop in downtown, so there arent a lot of places to park, which is to be expected. Good thing I walk everywhere. :)“
“I had put this little cafe on my radar for a long time. It's the same location where Benetis coffee experience used to be. Anytime I thought about it, it was after they closed, or sometime after 3. I had wanted to try their lunch and or breakfast last week, but unfortunately they had a water main break . Today, my husband and I finally made it for breakfast and our usual (work on laptop), and I am glad we finally did show up. We both had the French toast sampler, and it was pretty good. They do serve their food on to go containers, which is fine (cuts down on trash, and washing dishes, so I consider this place very eco friendly). The drip coffee we had was pretty good. The coffee comes from Messenger, and although this is a good thing I felt that the brew was slightly on the week side, but not drastically so. The ambience is very relaxing and the music wasn't very loud, a little jazzy and groovy. Nice place to come for an intimate chat or to do some early/afternoon work.“
