“First time visit today (12apr2024), out of state visitors for the day (IL), happen to be in the area. Ordered togo: Chicken Shawarma plate Beef Kafka plate Chicken Shawarma Sandwich Humus with Chicken Shawarma 4 extra peta and 2 garlic sauce While waiting, the place had a nice feel, music, etc. After a small amount of time we were offered Coffee. To those that dont know with these style of coffee it can be bitter to the normal pallet. This is a mix of coffee and tea I believe was told at this location. My SO, which was their first time trying this, is not a fan. Having tried some out of state (MI) before, it was little better than I have have in the past. VERY Hot in temp, so you will want to let cool some. The ChkShawm sandwich was good, SO didnt like as much but I enjoyed it. We both enjoyed the rest of the order, so much that my SO over eat some and was hurting. It was tempting to do the same. The Chicken was very good and juicy, not dried out like once place we tried few months ago. Rice was very good, the one plate's rice might have needed just a bit more cook time as a very small amount was still a bit al dente. Glad we ordered the extra garlic sauce as it didnt come with any of the other plates. I didnt look or ask if that was normal, some places do, others dont and we end up emptying out any garlic sauce we get anyways from places like these.We always order extra garlic and petas. We dont get over to this area much and next chance may be in 6 month or a year from now but will have this marked s a fav to revisit when in the area again! Totally plan to order from here again without a doubt!”

“For a small strip-front restaurant what a hidden gem. The size of my party was 4 adults and 3 kids, we had a Titanic sushi boat [3 adults] at $100 well worth it. Noodle dishes and fried rice for the rest of the party were equally good.”

“I have been a customer of Salt N Smoke for the past 4 years and always have had a wonderful experience, however this recent time with a nightmare to say the least... I ordered on 1/12/2022 around 8:45 PM via a Call-In on a Debit Card. What I ordered was (2) Bestie 2 Combos, one with Sweet Ribs and Smoked Wings sides were Sweet Potato Chips and Mac n Cheese, the 2nd Bestie 2 Combie was Ribs, Smoked wings and for the sides it was the Fries and the Mac N Cheese. Total for the Order was $41.72 Charged to VISA Debit Card Ending In (4360) I recently moved away to Iowa in the past 1 year so anytime I come into town in Saint Charles to see my parents which is often I always get Salt N Smoke in Saint Charles, MO I wish I could get it from Delmar if it was closer because I have never had a bad experience at that location ever, however Saint Charles is a different story. When I got to my parents I noticed all of the food was cold, not even slightly warm, I was really confused on how that was possible because I arrived at Salt N Smoke in Saint Charles before my order was finished. I ended up warming up both dinners because I did not want to waste food but still could not get myself to finish the meal mainly because there was something very wrong with the chicken almost like it was spoiled, my girlfriend was trying to be polite and ate everything to her regret, 1 day later she told me she had the worse stomach pain she has ever felt and it was so bad where we had to rush her to the E.R Hospital at Great River Health Center in Fort Madison, IA where we currently reside. After waiting 2 hours, doing blood tests and urine samples the doctor came to the conclusion that my girlfriend had gotten "Gastritis" which is a bad stomach inflammation which the doctor recommended it was caused from the poultry at the BBQ place she ate which was Salt N Smoke on Saint Charles... Tried to write them via Email no response, they will be hearing from my attorney.”

“Giving Texas Roadhouse , St. Charles, Mo. Bass pro location, a huge shoutout with thanks for their fantastic food. They have catered our church event for several years now . Their food gets rave reviews from our attendees . Julie and her crew do a wonderful job and we will be back next.”

I have frequented almost all of the cigar places around town and have actuality been very fond of almost all of them, but Aiello’s is just a notch above the rest. I have tried many times to find something off, because it’s one of those”too good to be true” deals at this place. Not only do they have great bocce ball courts, great cigar selections, they also have top notch bourbons that are hard to find in bars. (Blanton’s, Bookers, Mid Winters Night, ect…) but to top it off … they are family owned and treat you like you are family. All of the patrons that frequent are always inviting, wether they are playing a game here and there or just watching the games on tv… never once have had a bad time here. It’s definitely a place you could take anyone to have a great time… 5 stars”

“We ate at La Belle Vie this morning and were amazed at the portion sizes, how well seasoned everything was and the cook on our food. The coffee was delicious and they even make their own chai which is the best we’ve had at any coffee shop. We make our own and are quite picky and would absolutely order again! We are self proclaimed food snobs who have catered small and large events with everything made from scratch. This is now one of our favorite places and we’re so happy to have found them. The service was friendly and helpful. We met the owners who are absolute gems and their staff exudes the same happy, friendly attitude. Must try. Must go back again and again. “No wait time at 4pm on a Tuesday for 3 people. Our server, Mikaela, was marvelous! She never seemed to hover but was there when needed. The food was excellent! I ordered the country fried steak with street corn and was not disappointed at all. My family ordered meatloaf with okra and Mashed potatoes and they were extremely happy. Made sure to let the manager know how much we enjoyed everything.”

“This is my second time to MeMe’s Cafe and both times have been wonderful! The food is delicious and well priced, the drinks are great, the pastries are phenomenal, our food came out quickly, it’s a nice atmosphere, and the staff couldn’t be better! Everything feels thoughtfully chosen and top quality. On top of that, I even found Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning (made by “Walker & Sons”). With my last name being Walker and two sons of my own, I couldn’t resist—it felt like it was meant for me. Sha’s isn’t just a coffee shop, it’s an experience. Great products, cozy atmosphere, and plenty of unique finds that make it stand out from anywhere else nearby. I highly recommend it to any coffee or tea lover!”

“Although it’s true that I was at the Rec Hall the reason that I was there was for the Zero Latency VR activity. Basically I got to be a marine fighting zombies on the holodec with 3D glasses. It was an absolute blast and I will definitely do it again.”

“Wow! Their food was AMAZING. It was so fresh and so tasty. The Italian dip was so good! Probably one of the best ones I’ve ever had. The pizza and toasted ravs were so good as well, perfect amount of crispiness and flavor. The star of the show though, THE CANNOLI was amazing! It was crispy, and I wish I had 12 of them if I am being honest. Initially I was a little concerned about the price of our order, but after trying it, it was 100% worth it. I will be back and I’ll be counting the days until I can have that perfect cannoli again.

My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I read off dates but the slight sweetness against all of that savory is what made it!! We also tried the Fatty B, Meat me in St Louie, Magic Carpet Ride, and the Gyro. They were all amazing but the Gonzo and the Gyro were my favorites. The Magic Carpet Ride is also a must try if you're into mushrooms.”

“Met up with a friend today at one of my favorite brunch spots, First Watch. We went to the one located on Streets of St. Charles. Their fresh food, juices, and eclectic menu makes it so you can always try something new. They have specialties each month, and I suggest you go before the end of February and try their barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl!! Today I had the morning meditation juice and the barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl was a party in my mouth! The braised beef barbacoa mixed with the eggs, beans, and other seasonings. My friend opted for the Italian Inspired omelet. You can put a reservation in online prior to arrival on busy days (like Saturday). The wait was not long this morning, and the food makes the wait worth it. One thing I like about Fresh Watch is the continuity across the chain in that regardless of which restaurant you choose the food is always good and fresh. Great service. Stop in and check them out…try something new!”

“This coffee shop inside of Waypoint church is pretty neat. They have outdoor and comfy indoor seatings. Regardless of you’re going to this church or not, it’s a very nice coffee shop to spend time with friends/family, read a book or study/work here. They have a good drink menu and pastries/breakfast items. We got the Strawberry Lemon Sparker, hot chai latte and banana bread (vegan). All were good. Service was great and inviting.

“One of the best hotels in STL area. My family has stayed here multiple times but this was the best stay yet. Asked for late checkout, got 2pm. Hot tub and pool were great. Breakfast was awesome. I’ll be back!”

When our younger son and his family fly in from California, their first stop after leaving the airport is Lions Choice. We have their “ Bon Voyage” at Lions choice right before they fly back to California. We love this place. Always friendly. Always fast. Always delicious! Always a winner!”

But the food is memorable.”

“The chicken is really good here. The waffle fries are OK if you're into that kind of thing. The sauces are interesting and pretty good too. The lemon aid is outstanding. Lines can be long and waiting is a part of the dining experience.

Parking: Parking is a small challenge as you have to cross the drive through line to walk to the restaurant. There are limited parking spaces near the entrance.”
