“First time visit today (12apr2024), out of state visitors for the day (IL), happen to be in the area. Ordered togo: Chicken Shawarma plate Beef Kafka plate Chicken Shawarma Sandwich Humus with Chicken Shawarma 4 extra peta and 2 garlic sauce While waiting, the place had a nice feel, music, etc. After a small amount of time we were offered Coffee. To those that dont know with these style of coffee it can be bitter to the normal pallet. This is a mix of coffee and tea I believe was told at this location. My SO, which was their first time trying this, is not a fan. Having tried some out of state (MI) before, it was little better than I have have in the past. VERY Hot in temp, so you will want to let cool some. The ChkShawm sandwich was good, SO didnt like as much but I enjoyed it. We both enjoyed the rest of the order, so much that my SO over eat some and was hurting. It was tempting to do the same. The Chicken was very good and juicy, not dried out like once place we tried few months ago. Rice was very good, the one plate's rice might have needed just a bit more cook time as a very small amount was still a bit al dente. Glad we ordered the extra garlic sauce as it didnt come with any of the other plates. I didnt look or ask if that was normal, some places do, others dont and we end up emptying out any garlic sauce we get anyways from places like these.We always order extra garlic and petas. We dont get over to this area much and next chance may be in 6 month or a year from now but will have this marked s a fav to revisit when in the area again! Totally plan to order from here again without a doubt!”

“We love Sugar & Slice! We have used them for birthday cakes in the past and we knew they would be best for our wedding cake. We just got married this past weekend in May and they did a fantastic job using our reference to build our cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. The texture was still soft and full of flavor. We can't recommend them enough. They also did an amazing spread of cookies and cinnamon rolls. We provided to go bags for our guests and we had none left to take home, they were so popular. You will not be disappointed with whatever items you decide to buy from Sugar & Slice.”

“I hosted a celebration of life for my mom at Lydia’s and they made it so incredibly special. They were fully staffed with the most amazing people and we never ran out of yummy treats. I have always loved Lydia’s but now they hold a special place in my heart. And Lydia was so kind and thoughtful. I can’t recommend them enough, they have a customer for life!”

“Can’t speak to most of their food but I can tell you that they have the BEST crispy spring rolls and crab rangoon (sweet) around! I haven’t ever tried anything else because these are just delish!”

“Yummy House is a wonderful restaurant and is operated by individuals who care tremendously for their customers! They're incredibly accommodating. The super yummy ramen is hard to pass up. The name suits the dish. I would also recommend their boba teas. Very customizable and delicious. They also offer hibachi dishes.

I really want to point out that I've never seen an unhappy customer. The staff treat ALL their patrons with utmost dignity and respect as far as I have seen. My wife and I have built a friendship with the staff that really makes the establishment feel like an extension of home. These are truly dedicated and hardworking people that only seem to wish for the delight of the people they serve.

Please, take the time to visit. You will not be disappointed!”

“Asia inside the Casino is a little gem. We had a hard time finding it because it was tuck inside the casino. Signs would be helpful. However, once there, the wonderful experience began.

“We surprised our son for his 40th birthday. Most guests arrived early and were served drinks and chips while waiting for the guest of honor. Our waiter was so kind and efficient. He checked on us constantly while still respecting our chattering. We were at his table a long time and he never acted exasperated or frustrated. Food came out quick and was absolutely wonderful. We all ordered something different and we’re able to try different dishes. All very tasty!”

“I had picked my daughter up from the airport. She had been in Florida for 2 weeks. It was early afternoon on a Saturday, and she was hungry; she wanted White Castle. There is one on our way home, so we went through the drive-thru. There was only one car ahead of us. The line went quickly. The person that took our order was very friendly and personable. We enjoyed speaking with him. He had our order ready quickly and everything was correct. He wished us happy holidays when our transaction was completed. (I'm not sure of his name but my receipt says that he was employee # 1744) The food was hot. The cup for the drink did NOT have spills all over the outside of it, like some fast food restaurants do. My daughter got a cheeseburger combo meal with french fries and a drink. Thank you for being so quick and accurate and preparing a hot meal for my daughter before we got home. Merry Christmas!”

Their fresh food, juices, and eclectic menu makes it so you can always try something new. They have specialties each month, and I suggest you go before the end of February and try their barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl!! Today I had the morning meditation juice and the barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl was a party in my mouth! The braised beef barbacoa mixed with the eggs, beans, and other seasonings. My friend opted for the Italian Inspired omelet. You can put a reservation in online prior to arrival on busy days (like Saturday). The wait was not long this morning, and the food makes the wait worth it. One thing I like about Fresh Watch is the continuity across the chain in that regardless of which restaurant you choose the food is always good and fresh. Great service. Stop in and check them out…try something new!”

From the moment you walk in, the smell of freshly brewed coffee and tea is absolutely captivating—it’s the kind of aroma that makes you want to stay awhile. Their selection is truly unmatched in the area. I picked up Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble, Jamaican Me Crazy, Viennese Cinnamon, and Ginger Peach Tea, and each one has its own amazing flavor and aroma. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen and top quality. On top of that, I even found Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning (made by “Walker & Sons”). With my last name being Walker and two sons of my own, I couldn’t resist—it felt like it was meant for me. Sha’s isn’t just a coffee shop, it’s an experience. Great products, cozy atmosphere, and plenty of unique finds that make it stand out from anywhere else nearby. I highly recommend it to any coffee or tea lover!”

“I have been a customer of Salt N Smoke for the past 4 years and always have had a wonderful experience, however this recent time with a nightmare to say the least... I ordered on 1/12/2022 around 8:45 PM via a Call-In on a Debit Card. What I ordered was (2) Bestie 2 Combos, one with Sweet Ribs and Smoked Wings sides were Sweet Potato Chips and Mac n Cheese, the 2nd Bestie 2 Combie was Ribs, Smoked wings and for the sides it was the Fries and the Mac N Cheese. Total for the Order was $41.72 Charged to VISA Debit Card Ending In (4360) I recently moved away to Iowa in the past 1 year so anytime I come into town in Saint Charles to see my parents which is often I always get Salt N Smoke in Saint Charles, MO I wish I could get it from Delmar if it was closer because I have never had a bad experience at that location ever, however Saint Charles is a different story. When I got to my parents I noticed all of the food was cold, not even slightly warm, I was really confused on how that was possible because I arrived at Salt N Smoke in Saint Charles before my order was finished. I ended up warming up both dinners because I did not want to waste food but still could not get myself to finish the meal mainly because there was something very wrong with the chicken almost like it was spoiled, my girlfriend was trying to be polite and ate everything to her regret, 1 day later she told me she had the worse stomach pain she has ever felt and it was so bad where we had to rush her to the E.R Hospital at Great River Health Center in Fort Madison, IA where we currently reside. After waiting 2 hours, doing blood tests and urine samples the doctor came to the conclusion that my girlfriend had gotten "Gastritis" which is a bad stomach inflammation which the doctor recommended it was caused from the poultry at the BBQ place she ate which was Salt N Smoke on Saint Charles... Tried to write them via Email no response, they will be hearing from my attorney.”

“We were traveling and staying at a near by hotel so we had our pizza delivered. lt was really good! If we didn’t live so far away we’d definitely become regulars. My husband usually only eats the top, but their crust was so thin and crispy he loved it. The young many who delivered the pizza was extremely polite and helpful.”

We have their “ Bon Voyage” at Lions choice right before they fly back to California. We love this place. Always friendly. Always fast. Always delicious! Always a winner!”

“Upshot Coffee at Waypoint Church is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing—perfect for getting work done, meeting up with friends, or just taking a breather. The service is always excellent, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The food is pretty good too, but the real standout is the coffee. It’s always on point!

My go-to order is the vanilla iced almond milk latte, and they nail it every time. If you’re looking for a new spot to try, this one definitely deserves a visit.

But the food is memorable.”

“I was thoroughly pleased with their event coordinators and their understanding with our event we unfortunately had to cancel. It was supposed to be a baby shower however my niece decided she wanted to attend her own shower. The event coordinator only charged the event deposit fee and NOTHING else which was a huge relief and more money we were able to give in helping my sister and brother n law. If I ever need to host an event in the future I will definitely consider Tompkins Riverside.”

“Mocha point yummy coffee Co. is a really unique spot in Saint Charles that is definitely worth checking out. The coffee is rich flavorful and offered something different from your typical coffee shop, especially if you’re trying one of their traditional yummy drinks or spiced chai. The pastries and desserts are also a stand out and perfectly paired with the drinks

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and makes a great place to relax. Meet with friends or just enjoy a quick moment. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience.

The only downside is that it can get pretty busy, especially during Peak times, so seating can be limited and wait times a little bit longer. But for a good coffee shop, it’s worth it.”

“The Barista's at the new Starbucks on Zumbehl Rd. Are so nice and patient.. 🤣 most of the time I have no clue what I'm doing and they always get it right or they make it right. I haven't been to a Starbucks that I have received such great service in over 10 years.”
