Our reservation was for 8pm and we arrived fifteen minutes early and didn’t get sat until around 8:30-8:45 but Being that I also work in the food industry and it’s Covid times, I didn’t see it as a big deal. I do wish I had snacked before hand though! They did send edamame to our table for the inconvenience once we were finally sat though which was a super nice and unnecessary gesture. Also, the ambience is lovely and super romantic. The best sushi I have ever had. So light and flavorful. We even got some dessert and I have to say the mochi doughnuts were to die for - I wish the chocolate sauce for dipping had been dark chocolate but that’s my personal preference. The only negative thing I have to say is it is a little pricey so it won’t be a regular spot for me personally but definitely a place to check out for special events or date nights.”

Our reservation was for 8pm and we arrived fifteen minutes early and didn’t get sat until around 8:30-8:45 but Being that I also work in the food industry and it’s Covid times, I didn’t see it as a big deal. I do wish I had snacked before hand though! They did send edamame to our table for the inconvenience once we were finally sat though which was a super nice and unnecessary gesture. Also, the ambience is lovely and super romantic. The best sushi I have ever had. So light and flavorful. We even got some dessert and I have to say the mochi doughnuts were to die for - I wish the chocolate sauce for dipping had been dark chocolate but that’s my personal preference. The only negative thing I have to say is it is a little pricey so it won’t be a regular spot for me personally but definitely a place to check out for special events or date nights.”

I know from prior visits that Wheat can deliver on flavor. The chicken was very tender, the seasoning was a bit spicy, and I caught the vinegar notes that make a great kung pao. I missed the numbing buzz from Chinese peppercorns. Sugar's presence made itself known, sadly. Jalapenos were plenteous. I would prefer more toasted peanuts than jalapenos, but that's minor.
On previous visits I got the hainanese chicken which was gentle, soothing, and delicious. I'm going to remember it for those times I need a good protein but my tummy is hurting. Truly great medicine.”

“Definitely a fun place to go and while away a couple of hours! When you first enter, you have to give them your ID to scan, which seems a bit weird to me, even though it IS a bar because they just look at your ID back where I live. Not sure why they scan it here.
As others have mentioned, you purchase tokens here to play the games. You basically get 3 tokens per dollar and can pay cash, Visa, or MasterCard. So be aware the token machine does NOT take Discover (how 1980's). There are cups by the token machine to hold your tokens, which I appreciated. There is a place as you leave to drop your used token cup in a bin by the exit.
The pinball machines all take 4 tokens. The claw machines also take 4 tokens. Skee ball and basketball require 4 tokens. All the newer games require 4 tokens. Now, there are multiple older standup machines that only take 1 token, like Ms. Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Galactica, Frogger, Street Fighter, Dig Dug, etc. I also saw a few multi-player games around the edge of the room, it they were constantly full, so I have no idea on cost for those.
You can also get a little bit of food if you like and all kinds of alcoholic drinks (It is a bar after all). There is a station to get water with clean cups that appears to be free of charge.
I appreciated how roomy each stall in the restroom is, and at least in the ladies, there were cup holders for your token cup!
Definitely a fun place. Oh, even though it is a bar, at least when we were there in the early afternoon, there were a lot of families and little kids. I think I saw somewhere that an adult is required to enter with kids, and also maybe that kids are not allowed in after a certain time of night.”

I drove by at 4:47pm on Saturday and the line was out to the boa boa lunch buffet and when I got back at 6 pm there was a line to boa boa. I will be back and hope the folk who in a hurry realize they would wait an 30 min to hour to be seated and 45 min for the food to be prepared give this establishment some grace. The reason I’m passionate about this is when I got home, I was throughly impressed with my food and ate off my families plate. I glad my wife wanted to go.
