“I typically only rate/review exceptional experiences and last night was one to remember. I took my parents out to celebrate their anniversary and everything about our experience was top notch. Food was exciting and different without being too fancy. We have lived in durham all our lives and agreed it was the best meal since we have had since magnolia grill and four square shutdown. The atmosphere was great without being too loud and the outdoor space is somewhere we will definitely revisit. I am a bit reluctant to call out this restaurant for fear it will become too popular but it is too special to not be recognized. if you have not experienced little bull I would suggest you try asap”

“I have been here several times with my friends and colleagues. We have lunch party with my colleagues many times they provided free dessert. The quality of the food is good (both veg and nonveg). Lavina (staff of the restaurant) was excellent with both her recommendations and service. I strongly recommend this restaurant for lunch/dinner.”

“Staff clearly knows what's gluten free, happily points it out on the menu and at the dipping sauce station. Dipping sauce station is super clean and appeared free of contamination, no mixing of ingredients/sauces. Vegan options are obvious on the menu, and plentiful. Service was stellar, and soooo was the food! This is is my new favorite, hands down. Show up hungry, the servings are generous.”

“Made a reservation here a week ahead for a special occasion and was super excited to try it out. Our reservation was for 8pm and we arrived fifteen minutes early and didn’t get sat until around 8:30-8:45 but Being that I also work in the food industry and it’s Covid times, I didn’t see it as a big deal. I do wish I had snacked before hand though! They did send edamame to our table for the inconvenience once we were finally sat though which was a super nice and unnecessary gesture. Also, the ambience is lovely and super romantic. The best sushi I have ever had. So light and flavorful. We even got some dessert and I have to say the mochi doughnuts were to die for - I wish the chocolate sauce for dipping had been dark chocolate but that’s my personal preference. The only negative thing I have to say is it is a little pricey so it won’t be a regular spot for me personally but definitely a place to check out for special events or date nights.”

“We had the BEST server, Tim! He said it was his frisr day but he sure showed us wonderful service. We got the Big Hawaiian and the Wedge salad, my son (8) got the spicy chicken sandwich and my daughter (4) got the pizza sticks. All of it was super wonderful! I did think the $2 per ranch was a bit much but it won't stop me from coming back! Truly a gem to visit while near Duke!”

She juggled so many tables during a busy breakfast hour and was nonstop working the entire time we were there, while still managing to get our order and serve our meal very quickly. Mom got the shrimp sandwich with collard greens and mac & cheese while I got the Boricua Bowl with fried chicken. The greens were great and while I’m not really a mac & cheese person, this mac & cheese was hitting on all cylinders. Great down to earth business where the owners are in tune with all who walk through the doors to share their space. The fact they’re located at American Tobacco in downtown Durham right by the Durham Bulls baseball stadium makes it a must stop. Defintely coming back the next time I’m in Durham when I see Mom again.”

“My Jamaican mom was visiting here, and we were visiting our Jamaican family, and boy the food was so good! We had the curried goat, oxtail, rice and peas, fried plantains, baked mac and cheese and cabbage! The goat and oxtail were so tender, just how it should be! The fried plantains, mac and cheese and cabbage were so flavorful and just perfect! 10/10!!!!! The service great too because we ordered alot and they were able to separate everything how we wanted. “Being from South Jersey just outside of Philly I pride myself on being a steak aficionado. That being said I give Reno stakes a nine out of 10 stars. We stuck with the basic cheesesteak with fried onion and man were they delicious generous tasty and overall very satisfying. On the downside why I didn’t give higher number of stars the french fries were not that great, hopefully it was just a bad day for fries, but I will give them another shot for fries in the future. But that is my go to place for steaks now?”

“This is a beautiful restaurant and I have had several delicious meals there. Today I went with a friend and ordered my favorite 4 cheese ravioli. The raviolis were overcooked to the point they were browned on top and parts of the pasta tough. As we were on a tight schedule I did not send the meal back. I was given a dish of extra sauce so I believe they knew the dish wasn’t up to par. The service, as always, was impeccable. I will go back but, after several great hits, today was a miss.”

E.O.'s keeps a consistent lunch crowd on weekdays. I've ordered takeout wings from here a couple of times. Parked across from the Novus tower, the bar makes for a nice addition to this niche area of W. Main Street without adding too much noise.”

“I went for the soft opening and it was well worth the drive from Mebane. The Osh soup was a great start. The Persian tea was how hot tea should be, not bitter and flavorful. I also ordered the Budem Joon and it was exactly what I wanted. It was perfectly hot when it came to the table and the eggplant with the tomato and spices was wonderfully savory and so filling. I was slightly skeptical that a vegetarian meal wouldn't leave me feeling full, but the portions and quality of food left me very full. One of the best parts was how welcoming the staff was and how accommodating they were for all of my questions. All the people from Chapel Hill that told me about this restaurant before they moved, you were right. I will surely be back.”

Bread A+, pickled onions crispy and not too pungent, arugula immaculate and the bluefish so fresh, you are wondering if somehow you were transported closer to the sea. My friend’s pastrami sandwich looked great as well. I may have to try that next time. We shared freshly made potato chips and an onion dip. Also yummy.”

I’m not a matcha enthusiast or connoisseur in any way, shape, or form, but this place has the best matcha I’ve ever tried by FAR! The staff is always super friendly and efficient, the space is super cute inside, and they sell adorable stickers and merch too. I would highly recommend this place!”
