“The vibe here is amazing! I love a double entendre so walking in to see a sign that says “meat here” with a giant arrow instantly gives me the giggles! The multicolored decor and cool artwork made it hard to do anything but keep smiling. As soon as we’re seated our waitress says “I love your earring and all your jewlery” and I was smitten. I took my jacket off right as she was brining our food. “I love your tattoos” she says and I’m falling in love with this place. The cheesin steak sandwich is smothered in cheese, the wings are crispy, our appetizers came out fast and hot, and the atmosphere was great. I was having such a good time I didn’t even mind the watered down, chunkless blu cheese. You won’t either I promise! My husband and friends notified the waitress it was my 29th birthday to which she replied “29 would have never guessed your 29!” and I’m a little shocked. The thing is it was 13th 29th birthday so I reply “ and how old did you think I was?” I’m expecting a 35 or 36…. She says “24!” I laughed so much and said “I’m actually 42” and it was her turn to be shocked. She actually insisted I pull out my ID and that’s when I knew this lunch date was a Flirtatious Fork 5 star “Marry Me” good! ❤️ the food, the vibe, the service, the drinks (get the emerald godness, it’s amazing!) 💔 having to leave and knowing there isn’t a groovy beast near me! If im ever in Gastonia again I’ll go back!”

“What an adorable shop! I stopped in today for the first time after seeing they won best coffee in Best of Gaston. I didn’t catch the lady’s name that I spoke with but she was very friendly to me as well as the other customers that came in for coffee. I was pleased to see all the olive oils, balsamic vinegars, coffees, teas and spices. The seating was very inviting and I’ll go back when I have time to stay longer. There’s even a play area for kids. You need to check this place out! I bought Cara Cara vanilla white balsamic vinegar that is out of this world!”

My last 3 visit you can hear the owner yelling at the staff very disrespectful through out the restraunt. Tonight was the worst ever cussing the staff, even in Italian some people do know such foul language. It was to the point that I did not finish my dinner, nor did those dining with me, we wanted our check and to get as far away from there. I will truly miss Deb and Juliet however I can not justify spending my hard earn money for such a terrible experience.”

Those hush puppies and fries were on point, I always eat those right away and these had me doing my happy food dance. Baked beans... perfection but that meat y'all, let me tell you about that meat. As soon as you pull up, you can smell that mellow smokiness and that comes through in the taste of the meat. It's the meat you HAVE to keep chewing because it's just that good and tender. BBQ sauce is on the side because it only elevates the flavor instead of masking it. Quick google search lead us here, and I am so happy we found it. Friendly staff, great menu, then I saw the Primus posters! Our server was the best and informative and forced us to eat banana pudding and peach cobbler! I’m not a grits guy, but thought I’d give them a go, and wow the slow cooked jalapeño and cheese grits made me understand them. The BBQ was some of the best we’ve had. We visit Charlotte a couple of times a year; RayNathans is now a mandatory stop.”

Every time I walk in (or order ahead), my smoothie is ready, my food is actually made correctly (a true rarity these days), and the staff is so friendly.

Meanwhile, the location near my house has me questioning my life choices every time I roll the dice on an order. But not here! This team is elite. “I recently stopped at this location after picking up some items from the Amazon warehouse nearby. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have any weight and I was greeted the moment I walked in. The cashier I spoke with was very understanding about my lack of knowledge of the new menu items and was able to make some good suggestions. The quality of the food was excellent and better than I normally experience at other subways.

When I went to pay for my sandwich the gentleman that processed the transaction did so quickly and smoothly. I was happy with everything that I experienced while visiting and will definitely stop back in the future.”

We enjoyed the atmosphere also, very pleasant. We will definitely be back.”

“This was my go to spot when I was in the area for work. Probably went there at least 4 times a week especially for the soups (cow foot, goat and red peas, etc). The food is like straight out of the island and like your grandma cooked it herself. One of the best Caribbean spots I have eaten at.

They give you plenty of food. Definitely worth the price. Best rice & peas, could eat it by itself all day. Sweet plantains and stemmed cabbage is great. Oxtail, goat, king fish are all great. Jerk chicken won’t too bad (not so big on chicken).

Staff is great. Shout out to Shanese and the fellas.

2. YouTube videos/music videos may not always be age appropriate so be mindful of that since it’s reggae, soca and afrobeats.

It was Friday night around 8:00, and the place was packed. Despite that, we got a table almost immediately.

Now, I didn’t care for the salsa. It was a bit too oniony and runny for my taste, but honestly, that’s the only downside. The Birria tacos were phenomenal. The portion of meat was huge, and for around $19, it was an exceptional value. The guys I was with all ordered different things, and they were just as impressed as I was. The service? Absolutely stellar. No complaints there.

So yeah, other than the salsa not being the best I’ve ever had, it’s a minor issue compared to how good everything else was. I’ll definitely be going back.”

I always usually get the sliced bbq sandwich large with of course the slaw, it is the best slaw I have ever had on a bbq sandwich. This time I didn't get pictures of the bbq sandwich only the curly cheese dog sandwich which is the best hotdog sandwich with slaw, cheese and chili on it and the best part it is its not as messy as a regular hotdog bun. They cut the hotdog where it gets crispy and omg shape it in a circle. This sandwich smacks every time. The service is old school like a drive in only ring missing is roller skates, and always greeted within a minute!!! Always great service and food and reasonably priced. Was $15 for a large bbq, small bbq and curly dog sandwich:) if you also haven't tried their homemade cherry lemon sundrop you are missing out! Make sure to take cash as they are old school cash only which I love!!!!”

The food was delicious. The order was ready when I arrived for pickup. The food was fresh, no French Fries in old grease which tends to make them look brown. The white sauce on the Gyro which I can’t pronounce was in the correct amount not drowning the peta bread. The Club Sandwich wash fresh. The lettuce was crunchy not soggy. I will eat there again. “So was in dynasty Buffett today with my son and daughter in law and our service was good, until I went to the counter to pay for our meals. I go up to the counter to pay and the next thing I know, the guy that waited on us( his name is Reno), literally takes my card from my hand when I was handing it to the lady behind the counter( I wasn't handing it to him). He just takes it from my hand and that really upset me.. You should never grab a customers card out of their hand like that without having permission to do so.and he did 😡. So to say I'm upset is an understatement!!!!!!!. I go back into dynasty to ask if the manager was there and they wasn't, and I started to leave my number for them to call me when they were there, but I thought better about it. Because while I didn't appreciate the waiter taking my card from my hand without permission, I decided I'd come back another day and ask for the manager in person. That way I can talk face to face...that day will be very soon and ill keep going back each day until I get to speak to the manager. Everything else about the restaurant was fine and the food was good with a big selection to choose from. I have no complaints about the place in general, but the management should hire a better staff of people that don't just take a customers card out of their hand without permission.. Especially when the customer wasn't handing it to the waiter in the first place. I was handing it to the lady behind the counter. I'm not sure why the waiter did what he did but it was rude and the waiter should be spoken to about his actions, otherwise he might do it again to someone else that won't be as nice as I was about it I will be talking to management.”

“Throughly enjoyed my ribeye except what kind of meat was it. Some of it was tough. The garlic butter didn't melt. And being here the second time. Bake potato was cold wouldn't even melt the cheese and not cooked through. Plus my husband asked for the same batter that they used on the shrimp for the fish. Absolutely 💯 perfect . The restaurant need to add it to the menu for fish and Chip with malt vinegar. He comes from England. More business for you”
