“Beautiful place! Grace our hostess was wonderful! She showed great knowledge of the grapes and wines they offered. We enjoyed choosing our own cutting board selection from locally sourced goods! Wines- Orion was our favorite- Although Red Dress was very nice as well! Super clean facilities!!! Friendly! Don’t miss this jewel! A must visit! Thanks for the memories! O - we even picked up a bottle of mead! Will revisit!“

“We visited Plant for our anniversary. I’m a vegetarian, my husband is not. He was not very excited about coming, but came anyways for me to try it. We had a reservation for right when they opened on a Wednesday night, and even then the line was already pretty long for them just opening. I was surprised to hear they’ve been in business over 13 years! For a vegan restaurant (or ANY restaurant!) to be open that long and still be bustling at the seams — that’s a HUGE feat and nod to their obviously amazing restaurant. My husband got the crispy potatoes and crème brûlée and I got the cauliflower appetizer and the mushroom ravioli. He liked his food pretty ok, and after trying his and finding out he liked it, he then adventured to mine which he previously was not keen on trying. Also, he’s a crème brûlée junkie it seems lol, as he orders one wherever he can find one, and he said he “loved” the one here so that’s a win for vegans everywhere haha ? the cauliflower is delicious, smoky, and has a kick. I don’t like mushrooms but really WANT to like mushrooms (lol) and the ravioli was good for me not liking mushrooms (it’s made with oyster mushrooms which I liked more than others I’ve tried). Overall it was a pretty good experience. Our server was EXCEPTIONAL, kind, smiley, and genuinely interested in us and small talk etc (even though she was busy). We were also impressed for such a small kitchen that the kitchen staff worked with and around each other flawlessly, each knowing exactly what needed done at all times. The only things I knocked a star off for was something in the bar area (that we were near) was a strong bad smell, especially when they opened the fridge or something down under the counter, and it made the experience a little more unpleasant to often smell it while we tried to enjoy our food. The other thing I didn’t like was the weird non-smiling attitude of all the other staff in the place (who wasn’t our server). They didn’t smile when giving plates and drinks to people or interacting with them, and just maintained a generally scowly face, which I thought kinda ruined a potentially awesome vibe here. Maybe it was a hard night ??♀️“

“This is my favorite coffee shop in Asheville! I usually get a cappuccino, drip coffee, and one of the pastries and they are all fantastic. Ash always makes a perfect cappuccino with properly steamed milk.I’ll often hang out for an hour or two to work in the cozy cafe. I’ve also brought my three year old to the cafe and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience!“

I am so happy that I went there!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu! I have celiac, and I was thrilled to learn that everything on the menu is gluten free. Also, I'm allergic to black pepper and I react badly to nightshades-- the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, and I was able to eat wonderful food!“

“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!“
“Hands down the best beer I've ever had. I've only been able to find the brand in my area at Whole Foods and Total Wine. I've also had the original on tap from Bottles & Cans Beer and Wine Shop in Cary, NC. I'm in love with Ginger's Revenge Cranberry Herb beer. I've tried other flavors (hibiscus lavender, original, and lime agave) which are all very good but the Cranberry Herb is my top pick. This alcoholic ginger beer is a game-changer! The naturally gluten-free and the 95% organic ingredients are all the things I have never found for any regular beer brands. Ginger's Revenge is a yes for me!“

“I decided to give this place a shot because of the vegan options. I got a soy latte with hazelnut; it was great. Haven't tasted the baked goods yet as of this review because I'm saving them for my son who has the egg allergy. The one gal working the front of Cafe was friendly and helpful.“

“Fantastic beer selection and atmosphere. We always stop in when we are walking around town! Hoppy Trees was the first place we went to when we were considering a move up to Weaverville. The friendliness we encountered really set the tone, and we ended up moving here a few months later!“
“I had really high expectations for this brewery after doing an enormous amount of research. The space itself was neat and being downtown was cool. I liked that they had pinball too. But the beers I was expecting elite and I just didn’t feel that way. We tried 7 beers between two of us and the only one I thought was outstanding was one of the Hazys. I will try again next time I’m in town but I won’t prioritize it like I did this time“

“This was hands down one of the best dinners I’ve ever eaten. As a chef myself I really appreciated the plating skills and speed. The Chilean sea bass was perfect along with the bed of risotto it was on. I loved the fried oysters as well and for anyone who enjoys cider beers the one they have is really tasty. Overall it was one of the best experiences eating out I’ve had. The service was incredible and this place is definitely a hidden little gem that I recommend to anyone.“

“I had my doubts about this place, but the food was actually very good and seemed to be cooked/prepared to order, which is always a plus. The owner was very friendly as was the young waitress. It is very simple on the inside, kind of like a school cafeteria, but was very clean.“
“Probably the best brewery experience I've had in 20 years of craft beer tourism. They make great beers and they treat you right, because the people who run it are treated right. This is a great space to relax and talk with friends or make more. Food trucks, indoor and outdoor seating with fire pits, wine and non-alcoholic options, and super friendly service in a beautiful setting. If you don't visit here when in the area, you don't like beer.“

“If you like Nashville hot chicken and are in the area, I’d highly recommend Rockies. This location tends to get busy but the food comes out quickly. The parking situation can also get a bit busy at times. Our go to orders are: Pimento BLT sandwich with fried Mac poppers and a fried chicken combo with pickles. We love spice so we go with Rockies Hot but to some people this may be a too spicy. If you’re a spice novice then go with mild or original. They are tasty no matter the level.“

“What a nice place to eat. The owners took an old jail and turned it into a restaurant and hotel. There is inside seating as well as patio. I had the shrimp and grits and my wife had the mac n cheese, both of which were delicious. You order your food at the bar and they bring it to you when it's ready. They have a good beer selection which always makes me happy. Service was great. If you are in Marshall I highly recommend giving them a try.“
“The execution of each beer was really good, and if I was just rating on their ability to craft an excellent beer I would give a 5. The brewery itself is nice and clean but not special. There are t much offerings from a food standpoint, and the menus itself isn’t huge. I enjoyed every beer I had, but not enough to rate this similarly to other places in the area with similar quality beers but more interesting surroundings“

“My wife and I met here for a going away party for a friend. The place is large with indoor and outdoor seating with a mini-golf course behind it. Good variety of selection on beer types and about 12-15 of them. The breakfast sandwich was a home run... like completely surprised us both for a brewpub... we were there during brunch, so she was able to get brunch and me lunch (think brunch ends at 3:30 Saturdays/Sundays). She had the breakfast sandwich, which was a monster and was a very good value. The sandwich was satisfying and so flavorful, especially with whatever sauce that was. The home fries were ordered extra crispy, and they came out perfectly crispy and not burnt or greasey.I am a sucker for shrimp and grits, so I usually get it if I see it on a menu. The shrimp were cleaned first off so they did that right and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The sausage was still juicy and flavorful. The grits were cooked well but honestly, it didn't taste much of cheddar and noticed barely any jalapeno. The sauce was supposed to be garlicky cajun cream sauce. I got the garlic and cream but no cajun spice, and overall it needed some salt and pepper because of that lack of heat.Overall it was a great brunch spot with a tasty large breakfast sandwich and crispy home fries; but mediocre shrimp and grits. Beer selection is good.8.5/10“

“THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO STOP HERE!☕️?such an incredible atmosphere and delicious coffee & chai!! The chai is so flavorful and the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. (Not the cheapo plain cinnamon kind ya know?) Also the staff were so kind. I purchased some last minute Christmas gifts too (a super cute car diffuser, some coffee beans, a tshirt, and some local matcha!) they had an awesome set up and I’ll definitely be coming back.“
“One of the original breweries here in town & one of my favorite breweries for beer in the country. It's a don't miss kind of thing place. Only come for the beer & people watchin. Have a great walk about the arts district or just go for a walk along the river. IMO - they make the best beer of anywhere you'll ever go.“

“This place is so unique and such a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it by going into highwire and wow were we not disappointed. The best eclectic tropical vibe mixed with cozy booths and phenomenal cocktails, this place is underestimated and perhaps unknown. It was by far the best gimlet in all of Asheville and provided a unique experience that was unmatched in the rest of the city. Absolutely worth checking out and getting off the beaten path.“

“The good: staff was nice, place was cute, good selection of drinks, my 4 friends with me all had something different and everyone of their drinks was delicious. The bad: I got a "cookies and dream" frapp. I feel like most people would be assuming this was a cookies and cream type drink utilizing oreos or chocolate cookies. No. This is a gingersnap based drink, no where on the menu does this say this. I was already out on the road when I took my first sip. Unfortunately I am allergic to ginger so couldn't drink it.“

“Easily some of the best pizza in Carolina. Seriously good, sauce is wicked all by itself self. Toppings generous and crust is simply done right. Shane that description doesn’t match most pizza places but it certainly does Blue Mountain. A gem in Weaverville. Staff super friendly. And the butter pecan ice cream? I’m not a good enough writer to begin to say how good that was. Easily tops Graeter’s of Cincinnati…and if you’re an ice cream connoisseur as I am, you’ll know what high praise that is. Just a fantastic lil place serving great food!“

“Great coffee, pastries and to-go snacks. This was an awesome addition to Leicester but like some newer spots they aren't that busy yet. Support local! I really think the owners need to invest in better signs out front to draw in customers.“
