“Today placed an order online. Got my total, time to pickup and off my husband went to get our dinner. Pulled up to get food, empty parking lot, no one at window to get food from, sign on door said closed for the day for remodeling. NOTHING on page saying you are closed, even said you are open till 10pm! What the hell?! Somebody is going to fix this issue! And not just with a free appetizer!”

“My wife and I weren't prepared to be blown away by an amazing/quiet environment with great music when our date plans were ruined by a power outage at the movie theater. This place was a breath of fresh air and absolutely worth popping in for some good food, drink and enjoyment. We will absolutely be back! (Try the crack fries and spicy mango margaritas)”

Superboy (get it as is) and fries are my “go to” but the fried chicken, onion rings and the chicken salad plate are also terrific. They also have a delicious mustard-forward potato salad that slays. You won’t be disappointed!”

The food is extremely authentic, flavory, exquisite. Service feels exactly as if you go to a bakery in Bogota and all the team members & even the owners make you feel at home.
I am not a fan of driving but since I know this restaurant I get way out of my errands to fit a trip to the bakery get me a coffee and try their amazing products. I have tried stuff that I don’t usually like and all is recommended. The portions are also very generous & congruent with the price. The only thing I do not like very much is that they have a shelf next to the cashier and they sell all kind of Colombian products from my childhood I love the exhibit but can’t fall for it because I could be developing a belly if don’t control what I eat there ?!!

“My husband and I discovered Jets pizza recently. My coworkers told me about this amazing pizza I just had to try. Well let me tell you, jets four corners deep dish pizza is now our favorite pizza EVER!! We are a bit addicted to this place. The staff are always professional and polite. The store is clean and inviting. They are also honest, I left my purse there accidentally and the staff kept it safe till I arrived the next day to pick it up. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants the best pizza in Charlotte.”

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.”

“I had the pleasure of trying their fall season roll and it was delicious. Tempura with a spicy sauce you don't even need soy sauce with it fresh ingredients and explosive flavor 10/10 roll. I also had the chicken hibachi which was your standard express hibachi dish, it was good but nothing that stood out to me. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming all in all a very nice establishment I will be coming back. Disclaimer the photo attached is after I had already eaten half of the roll”

“I've been going here regularly for 3 years now and I have brought so many people over who have also fallen in love with the place. I've had work lunches here, date nights, and just casual meals with friends.

The food is amazing and tastes fresh, it's a small and intimate atmosphere which makes for a nice cozy experience, and the owner is a wonderful woman who greets everyone with such happiness and respect. Her family is also wonderful and nice when you see them working there as well.

I truly believe this place is a hidden gem here in Charlotte and I consider this my favorite restaurant in the city.

And if you're curious my go-to order that never fails me is the Create Your Own Noodle Bowl, House Special, with Mai Fun Noodles, and a Fried Egg on top with a side of Edamame and an Iced Malaysian White Coffee. Sometimes I'll treat myself to the Steamed Custard Buns (so worth it) or switch it up for the Curry Chicken in Clay Pot if I want something spicy.”

Their Tom Kha and Pad See Ew are my go to, but their curries and salads are also excellent. I can’t remember a time when we didn’t get great service in a lovely restaurant with authentic decor to go with the authentic Thai cuisine.

We got the fresh summer roll and the Pho Dac Biet. The summer rolls were soft with a delicious crunch of lettuce. The sauce was not as thick as some other places, but still quite delicious; sweet, salty, nutty. 5/5

The pho tasted good, not great. I felt like the more that I ate it, the more it tasted like the broth was a bit watered down. I was looking for a punch of flavor, but it fell short of my expectation. It was also a bit more on the sweeter side in my opinion. This was supposed to be the combination bowl, but I didn’t get any tendons or tripe, which was a tad disappointing. The broth had a nice color though. 3.5/5

Ambience was kinda awkward. The TV’s were on, but the volume was very low. It was quieter than I was expected. Decor was a bit more traditional but it looked fine. 4/5

“Down home cooking great variety, Southern Greek foods. Older restaurant with great food and great service. GREAT Service! We have visited several times and they always go over and above our expectations. We quickly noticed that although we may have an assigned table and waitress, the waitresses support one another. A family atmosphere like a friend invited you to "dad & mom's" house for a bite to eat, and mom and the family give it their all.”

“My husband and I have had the worst experience's while ordering from this location. We both feel very targeted and it's very obvious. There are flies always on the inside of the store on the different surfaces. The rating is a 97.0. The manager and another employee have been the main two making us feel like we are not welcomed in the store. They go so far as to talk about us very obviously when we're in the store. The customer service from those two is the worst I've had. I've been to other stores around the city and I've not had those problems. It's a shame that paying for items that are not inexpensive comes with uncleanliness, targeting, lack of customer service, and rudeness from employees including the manager. I can gladly spend my money somewhere I'm treated right since I go basically everyday.

Since the negative things that happened in the past in the past review, I have nothing but positivity about every aspect of this location. I'm there very often during the week, and I can honestly say that they go above and beyond to assist customer's needs, provide a clean welcoming atmosphere, and they make sure orders are correct. All while going above and beyond the call of duty. I look forward to going now, and I never leave without smiles and satisfaction. Special kudos to Beth, Lacey, and Zack and all the staff.”

“In one way yes we really like the Product, my husband and I have been using the product for 8 years now. On the other had it’s VERY frustrating with our monthly subscription. It Never ships on a timely manner and we end up running out before our shipment even leaves the shipping dock. It makes , buisness travel VERY DIFFICULT when we don’t have our product. Sure wish we could get it figured out SOONER rather than LATER!!”

“I love El Valle. Family owned. Has been in Matthews for many years. My family and I have been eating here for probably 10 years. The service is excellent. They don't have much turnover in staff so they remember us. Now that our son has moved away, they always ask how he is doing. The food is always fresh and excellent. Our order is always correct. The prices are reasonable. My favorites are Chimmichanga, Polo Adobe, Polo Especial, Fajita. I love their salsa.”

“Same as any other five guys, although my wait time to receive the food was horrible, stood there in line for almost 30 minutes while orders before mine and after mine were called before me and I had a simple cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and ketchup. The ladies working the line did not have a sense of urgency at all and we're super slow while the guy working the fries killed it, those ladies need to be retrained or replaced.”
