“3-2-2024 Ordered 2 chicken fajita bowls one was mostly rice, a few black beans, about 5 pieces of chicken half the size of my middle finger. In times past it contained a variety of vegetables. I'm a regular and have had better. I've decided to stay away from for a long while. I find that inconsisties are more noticable when I visit too often.“
“At least when I went there at 11pm, I did get good service. It was not fast, but the ONLY person there was at least courteous and professional. I would complain but the McDonald’s next door closed their drive through on me, so at least I was able to get something from Taco Bell. On that note, why is there only ONE PERSON manning the entire drive through in February 2024. Crazy!“
“I like the food and generally recommend this restaurant. There are three things that frustrate me considerably and they significantly impact how often we go.1. $4.25 for soft drinks? Sure, make money on drinks; you're not running a restaurant for your health, but $4!! Because of this, we decide against going 50% of the time we otherwise would. Because of this, when we do go, it is well understood, we all are getting water without exception. If they charged $2.00-$3.00 for soft drinks, we'd go far more often and we'd spend money on drinks. Again, $4? Shame on you.2. The robot gets in the way and doesn't appear to serve a purpose. Prior to its existence, waiters would bring our food and set it on our table. Now waiters follow the robot around and put the food it carries on our table. What's the value-add of this thing? Pointless several thousand dollars spent on an obstacle. I'm sure the robot is why they decided to charge $4 for a Coke.....I actually didn't see it the last time I was there and a friend of mine said he hasn't seen it in a while and thinks they got rid of it. If so, good for them; I only have 2 grievances then.3. The men's bathroom has no divider between the urinal and the sink. If you're using the urinal and someone uses the sink, you're basically presenting yourself to them. It's a lose-lose situation. I mean, we're men, it's a men's bathroom and to a great extent I'm fine in a situation wherein I need to do what I gotta do and someone does what they gotta do and neither of us cares about the others' situation. Unfortunately there's no option to ignore the dude using the urinal if you need to wash your hands. I wonder how many people have used the stall and returned to their table with dookie particle fingers because they were too uncomfortable to wash their hands beside a stranger's wiener. In summary, junk the robot (if not already done), charge $2.50 for Coke and put up a $40 partition beside the urinal and great success will follow! It's the simple things that make all the difference. It's mid April. I'll come back around mid-May and hope to see improvement. If not, then Azteca, Monterrey and maybe even Taxco get our business.“
“Went there on a Sunday around 2:30p with a larger party of about 25 people. We were in large private room. The food was good, also reasonably priced. The service was just very slow during that time, It took over 30 mins to get drinks and over an hour to get our orders.“
“This place was SO GOOD. The complementary chips and salsa are what set the tone for me they were so tasty and then my food came out. All me and my sister could do was shake our heads in astonishment. Servers were kind and the space was clean“
“I have traveled the whole USA hands down this is the best Mexican food I have tasted. Green sauce had perfect flavor just everything I ate was perfect. Also for the amount of food you get for such a cheap price I swear feels like your robbing them. But I will be back and anyone who loves that spice in their Mexican food this is the spot!!“
“Cantina Louie is absolutely fantastic! The team there truly goes the extra mile to make sure you feel welcomed and appreciated. Francisco, the manager, consistently delivers top-notch service and Is super nice. Whether you're a frequent guest or stopping by for the first time, you can count on being treated like part of the family from the moment you arrive. If you're in search of a restaurant or a spot for drinks that serves exceptional food, provides outstanding service, and promises an unforgettable experience, look no further than Cantina Louie. Believe me, you'll leave more than satisfied.“
“We finally found good Mexican food near Charlotte! The food was delicious and employees were very nice. You need to try the Papas Con Chorizo. It was the best! We also ordered an enchilada, chile relleno, and a taco. Everything was great, including the refried beans that most meals come with. We'll be back for more.“
“Super recommended, the shepherd ones are delicious, and what can we say about the very rich and spicy green sauce. ??I read comments before going about the sauce that was very spicy, and obviously it is spicy, that's why it's called salsa, in addition to being a Mexican restaurant, we Mexicans should know that.“
“I have visited this location on several occasions during the workweek for lunch. Ive always been greeted in a friendly manner and seated right away. Theres ample seating and the location is quite large and good for groups. Food comes out fast and piping hot. Very flavorful. Their menu has something for everyone in your group. Steak fajitas and chicken soup are my go tos!“
“1st time for my Wife and I to attend here. Finding a Mexican restaurant near us with good food is important. This business is about 5 min from our home and the atmosphere was great.I had the pick 2 Burrito and Taco, rice and refried beans. My Wife had the Pick 2 with Burrito's. The food was seriously well prepared and the taste was really good. Usually the beef at some restaurants has a dog food taste to it. This beef was very good and was seasoned well.We will be going back often.“
“I've been meaning to get this place for some time now. Now that I have, I've been back for a second time already, lol. This place is really good. I got the steak tacos both times, and they are amazing. The staff is friendly and I'm sure this will be a go-to spot for me when I want tacos. They have traditional street food as well as other options to choose from. I recommend this spot for sure.“
“I stopped in for lunch yesterday and had a serious craving for sopa de pollo. Hands down, this is the best sopa de pollo I've had from any restaurant! In addition, my waiter was extremely kind and outgoing. I don't know his name, but he appeared to have black hair that was blonde in areas and pulled back in a hair tie. Super nice guy. Great experience and will definitely be back!“
“I live in Columbia SC, for work reasons, I go to Charlotte NC once a month, since I went to Los Reyes the first time, I have become accustomed to going to eat there every time I go to Charlotte NC, very good food and very good customer service.“
“I’m from Southern California born and raised and have been looking for a good breakfast burrito. All these people that say that Rhino place or whatever it’s called has good breakfast burritos, I’m sorry but that place is very very average to my palette. But to each their own. Señor Taco surpassed my expectations. It’s was sooooooo so good. I got the eggs, hash browns, cheese, beans, rice, bacon and salsa in there and it was amazing. Highly recommend.“
“This is a small restaurant that has a small store attached to it. If you're looking for Hispanic products you can't find at other stores this may be the place. It's like a corner store. Not full shopping. Anywho the food is fantastic! The food is already cooked. But if you're looking for another item.on the menu they make it right in front of you. Parking is tight. Not a full restaurant Parking. They do however have dine in seating. Fresh made juices. Definitely a place to try out. You ❤️ affordable Spanish food? Authenticity made hispanic food low cost. Love it!Parking: About 15 spaces. It's a plaza.“
“Yo si lo recomiendo porque yo tengo mucho tiempo iyendo a comer ahí. Y nunca me a enfermado la comida ni a mi familia yo soy clienta desde hace mucho tiempo y tienen muy excelente servicio al cliente todas las muchachas son super amables . Muy recomendable“
“I lived in AZ over 50 years and had access to some amazing tamales. One bite transported me back to Tucson. I'm so glad I got a mixed dozen- pork with green sauce, chicken with red sauce, and cheese with jalapeños. Sounds so good I may have another one for lunch!“
“OH MY WORD!! By far the best tacos I have had in Charlotte, so so good! I got takeout tonight, tacos - asada, al pastor (and I barely eat pork!) and grilled shrimp along with plantains (amazing!) and queso (guilty pleasure). The queso was okay but my bar for an authentic place is the tacos. AMAZING! It came with two salsas and I could have used more. I ordered at the register for takeout and it was about 25 mins to be ready but it is a small place and worth it. I have lived about ten mins from this place and could kick myself for not having come sooner. GO NOW!!“
“They have good tacos there but they are small I usually eat 3 I ordered 4 and I could've ate 5 honestly also the salsas were spicy !?and that was just the best thing. The menu is kid friendly they have tenders and fries which was great !The inside is small so there Is like 3 tables butThe lady there was really nice and made sure to get our drinks to us and ask if we needed anything. We will definitely be back to eat here if we are ever in charlotte again.“
“This is a hidden gem. The food was amazing. It was a great experience. Some of the best mexican food i had in a long time. Everything was seasoned perfectly. I had fajitas taxanas. Big portions, plenty of steak, chicken and shrimp. The veggies were cooked to perfection. I also really enjoyed their salsa. The atomphere was cute, with hanging plants to look like you were outside on a veranda. The stample was pleasant, made accomdations as needed. Just a pleasant disposition. Then the robot server came out playing a cute little song. A great experience all around. I will be going back soon.Parking: Plenty of parking is available lm“
“Delicious! We came here last week and it was wonderful. We dined at their Uptown location years ago and remembered it being good. It was better than good this time. I highly recommend getting the tacos. I got the combination and got the brussel sprout, the fish, and the birria and they were all mouthwatering. The service was great and our food was out within no time.“
“Great Honduran food. Cannot go wrong with a Baleada con Carne, pupusas, or la Chuleta con Tajadas. I usually take out as i am not a fan of the service. Good food though.P.S. I think the owners should open a franchise in the Winston Salem area.“
“I came into this restaurant while I was over on this side of town. It did not disappoint! I got the authentic style tacos al pastor and they were amazing. I also loved the chips and queso. The fresh brewed tea was great. The salsa bar they offer is very cool too. I would highly recommend!“
“My 6th time here. I always order a seafood dish. Everytime it is fresh tasting, prepared perfectly, and great to the last bite. The Octopus is always extremely tender. I prefer the raw dishes, Ceviches or the Aguas dishes. This is a true test to high quality. It's hard to hide poor quality with this type of orders. This is the best Mexican Seafood I have ever had. I grew up in San Diego too. and many trips to Mexico on the Pacific coast. The best kept secret of the Carolinas.“
“Food is to go but the barbacoa and carnitas are delicious definitely worth every penny! The Service is also great the guys behind the meat counter are very friendly and the cashier is also very nice!! The ambience is very cheerful because of the music and just shuffle of customers! It's obviously very popular among Hispanic families! :)“
“The food is great, the tacos are the best I have tried ever, and I have been to many Mexican places. What they need to work on is the customer service, the server lady that is most of the time there doesn't greet or barely smiles, you have to ask her for straws or silverware, otherwise she will never bring them, the overall interaction with her feels a bit uncomfortable from the beginning. The younger girl that is not usually there is so nice and attentive, she could teach the other lady a lot. The place also needs a face lift, I understand it isn't located in the best area but it can look much better.“
“The food and service were great. Went on a Thursday evening and it wasn't busy at all. The restrooms were big, but could use updating or arranged differently. The only issue I have is the price. My bill after tip for 1 adult and 1 child was $55. Definitely overpriced for a mediocre restaurant.“
“Yo si lo recomiendo porque yo tengo mucho tiempo iyendo a comer ahí. Y nunca me a enfermado la comida ni a mi familia yo soy clienta desde hace mucho tiempo y tienen muy excelente servicio al cliente todas las muchachas son super amables . Muy recomendable“
“Great lunch spot! Ordered al pastor tacos and was pleased. $16.95 for 3 tacos, rice and refried black beans. Everything was delicious and hot. Chips and salsa are $1.95 extra fyi. I do consider this an expensive lunch, considering this was lunch. I did order water but once you toss in a decent tip, you’re over $25 for a lunch. And a lunch most people would finish as it wasn’t “large”. But they did have several other dishes I would return for, regardless of price. Enjoy ?“
“I ordered 2 chicken tacos, beans and rice and a salad. Salad was shredded lettuce and radishes that I took home to dress up. Food was good and reasonably priced. I was especially intrigued by the beautifully bright cultural paintings that adorned the chairs. It was nice to view the art while dining.“
“There are a couple of La Unica locations in the area, but Indian Trail is the absolute best one! For years I've tried to make this a, "once a week", stop and for good reason. I always get the ground beef crazy burrito and it never disappoints me. Decent pricing with very fast and friendly service.Kid-friendliness: My kids love the food and the staff enjoys interacting with them as well.“
“Easily one of the best Dominican fritura trucks in the greater Charlotte area. The yaroa is on point as well as their picadera of different fried meats. The chimi de pernil was absolutely perfect. We've eaten at this truck 3 times now and every time was on point.“
“No complaints about the food, it is excellent, prices a bit high for my taste but still acceptable, the only detail is the staff, in the kitchen that is open and right next to the area for diners there is a cook who shouts exaggeratedly and is very vulgar, it makes customers uncomfortable, one is going to pay to eat good food and have a pleasant time, but with the screams of this chilango (it seems) you come out crazy, upset and even in a bad mood, I have been there several times The food is good, I hope to go some time when this man doesn't work so I can change my rating. The owners know exactly who I'm talking about, if it were possible they could tell me what day that man rests so I can go eat more peacefully that would be excellent.“
“Very good place to enjoy with your family, with free parking, they serve you to taste. You can order however you want your dish to come out. Not necessarily as it appears on the menu. Very delicious pupusas. I will return as many times as I want. I recommend it.“
“The food was quite good and certainly reasonable and plentiful. Had fresh guacamole made right at our seat; it was excellent. The chips and salsa were included. The bar tender was friendly and was proud of the restaurant's product. We would certainly go again.“
“The food was great. We were greeted when we walked inside, sat at the bar they handed us menus. I wish the waiter could explain a little bit more but I kind of had an idea of what I wanted. But besides that we got our food in a timely manner. I will be trying this place again.“
“Bridgette was out of this world. She has such a bubbly personality and made dinner sooooo much fun. She was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Added plus that the food and margaritas were delicious. However, Bridgette was the icing on top!!“
“I work 3rd shift and Taxaco stays open late enough for me to grab dinner for the night. The food is always fresh. I ordered the Burrito Supremo.(Chicken) It comes w/rice or beans. The rice is so soft, fluffy and flavorful. The chicken in the burrito is also perfectly seasoned. The meal is so filling! My dinner also came with chips and salsa. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant has welcoming feeling. The ambiance is great for a night out or a family gathering. Definitely a 10/10 I would recommend.“
