I moved to CLT in 2022 and this has always been a dependable place for good (and reasonably priced) food and beer, a nice space for watching sports, or just hanging out for live music or trivia.They have good weekly deals like half off apps and $6 burgers that make an after-work visit hard to pass up.They often change their beer and food menus which is great. My only issue with Yancey is that they don't change their pizza menu, and the mushroom/olive pizza and goat cheese pizza are probably the worst items on the menu (my opinion). Crust is always great though. Needs a buffalo or bbq chicken pizza to replace those. The Grind is the best by far. Homemade ranch is killer.Sandwiches are killer. Pulled pork grilled cheese, cheese steak, cuban, chicken sandwiches, you can't go wrong.Bring back the carnitas tacos!!Keep up the good work Yancey!“

“My husband and I ate here on our lunch break. We didn't have to wait for a table. Once we sat down we were immediately served!! We've ate there before and have never had a bad experience. The food comes out hot and cooked to perfection!! If you want a good home cooked southern meal then stop by!“

“Visiting this restaurant for the 1st time during their 1 year anniversary was a nice combination. Their free sampler plate (Mac-n-cheese, cauliflower wings, meatless meatloaf, jackfruit barbecue and chicken fried shrooms) was a perfect way to try their awesome menu. Everything was flavorful with a nice texture. Also, I enjoyed their delicious berry smoothie sweetened with dates. Topping everything off with their desserts, Moscato cakes (plain and Blueberry) and sweet potato pie, was a must.“

“This is a very small taco joint in the BP Yorkmount plaza. Order at the counter, small area to sit and eat. The place is packed at lunch time and I know why, the food is AMAZING!!! I ordered tacos al pastor with guacamole and a side of hot sauce. Yes they have hot sauces on the tables but the homemade is always the way to go!! Very close to CLT airport, I will definitely be back!“

“This is a Great Coffee Shop. Everyone is so friendly. The coffee is really good. There are some other fun drink options too. They do a good job of getting your order ready quite fast. They carry the ‘sunflour’ muffins that my wife, Debbie Smith and I really like. We went with our son, Jason M. Whitesmith, his wife, Becca Whitesmith and a friend, Taylor, for the Harry Potter Trivia night. Although my wife and I could not answer any questions we enjoyed the time with our son and family/friends and the atmosphere, and good times at The Wandering Cup. Kudos to Melanie, or Mandy (?) Then proceeded to tell me I ordered seven cupcakes when I looked at the receipt there was five cupcakes and one extra adding up to six total cupcakes. “We stopped at Jasmine Grill after getting my nails done. The restaurant was very clean. We were greeted very kindly by the staff. We were seated properly and our order was taken right away. The little gentleman that was taking our order did not hear that we ordered falafel so it did not come to the table, but we received an apology and some free baklava to take home. The customer service is outstanding!!! The food was delicious. My husband got the lamb Shawarma wrap And I got the beef and lamb Shawarma plate with yellow rice and fattoush. The food was hot and fresh. We will definitely be stopping in again.“

“Lunch at Anita's Mexican Grill. If you haven't been here, you're missing out. They are only open 11am until 2:30 pm so it's definately just a lunch place. The quantity of meat they give you in these tacos is unreal, especially for the price ! I got the carne asada taco on a corn tortilla ($4). The meat was a bit overcooked, but had a ton of flavor. Plus just LOOK at how much meat they give you ! I couldn't fold the taco, it was that much meat !!! I ended up eating all the meat I could inside the taco and then using a fork to eat the rest that would not fit inside. I got a chili relleno special ($9.50) which came with either a hardshell or flour tortilla with either shredded chicken or ground beef with rice on the side. I got the shredded chicken. It was nice and juicy and had nice flavor. Just look at how stuffed it is ! These came with chips and salsa too. Hubby got one beef hard shelled taco and one chicken soft shelled taco. This came with chips and salsa. They have fountain drinks with free refills. The seating area is small. However, they have both high chairs and low chairs (See photo). We came at 1:10pm and lunch was starting to die down, so we were able to get a table. However, I had read online that starting at Noon the line is out the door and seating is scarce. Highly recommend for getting alot of good food for the money spent. Orders are taken at the counter then they call your name. The only thing I did not like were that the people behind the counter were wearing a mask. If someone on their staff is sick, they should not be serving food. The masks also prevent genuine interaction with the customer. FYI..Everything is given to you "to go" whether you plan to eat there or not.“

“My order has been great this week. The store has been cleaner. Blender carafes were washed and waiting. When carafes are carefully washed, I get less foreign particles. They really do need to rinse them well. With regards to the meal replacement smoothies, I have had problems with the 32 oz. being incorrect. I had to order 20 oz. ones just to be able to drink them. I do not know what the order print out tells the employees. It seems they do not tend to measure correctly. Each person has a different idea regarding the amounts of protein powders, liquids, frozen yogurt, and ice. They do not consistently measure the portions. I have noticed that the more experienced employees have to go in back to cut fruit leaving the less experienced ones creating our smoothies. Those less experienced employees are left to take orders too, using the other employees sign in on the register. So, it makes it more difficult to give an individual a good rating.“
