“What an all around amazing night at Second Empire! Our family gathered there to celebrate our son's wedding. The personal service the bride and groom received was way beyond expectations. Everyone made them feel so special! From start to finish, the evening was exceptional. The food was so yummy and there were even options for those in our group, myself included, who were vegan/vegetarian. And it wasn't just a salad. Just ask the server! Ours was well versed in what the chef could prepare for us. The presentation of the food to our party of 13 was also super cool...they brought out all of the entrees at once! “This was my first visit to the Raleigh location on May 28, 2025 with two out of town guests. three diff dishes were ordered..brisket, St. Louis rubbed ribs and burnt ends. The brisket and burnt ends were amazing. The ribs however were dry and tough. The meat certainly did not fall off the bone. I would not recommend the ribs based on this experience.”

“If I could give y’all a hundred stars I would! We had about 30 people coming together for my birthday. I had been in communication with a different restaurant (Cowfish) for over a month preparing because 30 people at a restaurant is NOT a small feat! They decided to give me a hard time the night of and were not really willing to accommodate us. We decided to find another restaurant. I immediately knew that NO ONE was going to be able to accommodate 30 people on a Saturday Evening but I was wrong! BONEFISH to the rescue! Before we even got across the street the tables were pushed together and prepped with menus water and silverware! Not only that even with a party of our size everything was executed perfectly! The food was delicious, we had a great time, the managers were friendly, and our server was the GREATEST (especially to be new to serving large parties.) I even loved my little art work on my to go box! We love intentionality! Shout out to Rasheive! All in all it was a 10/10 night, with 10/10 people in a 10/10 restaurant! Definitely coming back. ❤️”

“I can see why this restaurant was on the Michelin Guide for Raleigh. The ambiance when you walk in, is so cozy. However, the food was AMAZING. All the flavors were there. The yellowtail crudo had to be my favorite dish. The rice cake they put on top is to die for, and dipping it in the yellowtail was chefs kiss. The catfish was their special and it was perfectly lightly battered and fried! Cocktails were unique and held lots of flavor. Definitely ask the waitress or waiter about the speakeasy, you’ll need a key to go! The service was 10/10, a great date night”

I simply sauteed chopped onion, bell pepper and garlic, added Sarge's sauce and chicken broth, and then added the sauted shrimp. I plated it by putting it on top of my cooked grits and then topping it with a bit of chopped tomato. Yum!”

“It's a Waffle House. You aren't going to get the gourmet experience but you are getting the Waffle House one. Despite being fairly crowded, the staff here took the time to ask my son and I if we needed things, apologized for the slight delay in getting our food, and were just genuinely nice people. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu and go the extra mile to ensure a welcoming experience. Whether dining with friends or adults, everyone can find something appetizing on the menu. Here is what we order on our most recent visit: Karage Wings $12 Pork Belly Buns (2) $9 Kids Miso Ramen with Chicken and Eggs Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl $12 The food was delicious overall, and I particularly enjoyed the wings and the pork belly bun. A tip to keep in mind: it's best to finish the wings while you're at the restaurant. If you have any leftovers and take them home, they don't reheat well.”

The Dairy Education Center gives visitors a unique look into how dairy products are made, and the Randleigh Dairy Museum offers interactive exhibits for all ages. The porch with rocking chairs and views of the pastures make it a relaxing stop. It can get busy on weekends, but it’s absolutely worth the visit.”

All of the bread, pastries, and drinks that I have tried have been truly phenomenal. My go-tos thus far have been the seeded levain, the ham and cheese croissant, and the morning bun. I highly recommend! The customer service is always fantastic as well. The young lady with curly hair and silver rings (Lizzie, I think her name is) always helps me find what I need and leaves a smile on my face. She isn't a bad looker, either - don't tell my wife I said that! I'm only taking away one star because it has been SO HOT in there recently. I worry for the ladies and gents working there. Cheers!”

“This was my first time at Little Rey “Al Carbon” and everything was amazing! I got the November Queso special, plus the beef and pork belly tacos, and all of it was so good. The Café de Olla coffee was the perfect touch to finish things off. The team was super friendly and helpful—especially Quinn, who helped me at the counter and checked on tables to make sure everyone was good. Great food and great vibes all around!”

“Used to be Thai House, now is Thai Twist and I love em both! Basil fried rice, tom yum,, curry, all is delicious and the portion sizes are actually kinda nuts. Eating in is fjne but the interior is a bit dated and the service a little slow, takeout is just fine here.

I will say tho- the tom kha is disappointing. Its SO sweet...0 spice and 0 savory. Slight tang but mostly just sweet. Couldnt finish it”

“Toastique in Raleigh is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, modern, and welcoming — the kind of place that instantly feels like your new go-to breakfast and brunch spot.

I have to rave about their fresh smoked salmon — it’s on another level. The quality is unreal: perfectly tender, richly flavorful, and so fresh it practically melts in your mouth. Paired with their artisan toast, creamy spreads, and bright, crisp toppings, it’s hands-down one of the best smoked salmon dishes I’ve ever had anywhere. You can taste the care and quality in every bite.

The ingredients are super fresh, the presentation is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and fast. It’s clear they take pride in what they do.
