“We are a local couple but every once in a while we still want to support the local servers who work in larger chains!!! This place did not disappoint! Our server Samuel was the BEST! Since we were first time diners he comped our appetizer! Additionally the food was loaded with flavor! When we were getting ready to leave we were handed a gift bag with information on their next wine dinner and swag as well as their seasoning! We will definitely be going back!“

“What an amazing dining experience!! We had a party of 7 and our waitress was just phenomenal. She was on top of everything throughout the meal. And such a relaxed atmosphere with high end food. To say the food was excellent is an understatement. The flavors were impeccable and everything went together perfectly. From appetizers, salads, soup, main course and dessert- each bit was melt in your mouth deliciousness. And their drink menu is perfect for anyone's taste. “Top 3 favorite restaurant!! From the moment we walked in until we left everything was wonderful. The staff is happy and helpful, they were engaging and helped guide us to the right menu options. The cocktails were the best prices I’ve seen in a long time and were delicious!! The food we had was fantastic! The manager stopped by to check on us and was very friendly as well. We had a group that went and we had the Piedmont Manhattan, Duck Duck, Sangria, and Mule for drinks. For apps we had the brussel sprouts and goose bumps (6) which were very generous for appetizers. Finally for dinner we had the herbed salmon sandwich, Italian Dip, and the chicken picatta. To be honest we can’t wait to go back!!!“

My server seemed to be really off, she fumbled her words, had a hard time answering my questions, (maybe she was nervous) etc. I ordered a martini but she brought me something terrible in a rocks glass! We ordered, the salad bar was amazing!!! Fresh and had several choices. Our meal was another story, our waitress got our order wrong. I wanted chicken parmigiana and I got a sandwich?! She did get it corrected but I had to wait longer. At the end of our meal the manager trish came over to offer apologies. She also brought me the martini I originally asked for that she said she made herself. Awesome!! It was delicious!! She was friendly, chatted with us for a moment and deliver our bill. She didn’t even charge me for the drink! We noticed her guiding our server who was then having issues at another table. I would say we won’t be back but Trish really helped turned our opinion around! She’s definitely a manager who cares! We will give it another try and hopefully just get a more proficient server!“

“Wonderful experience on valentines day! It was busy but service was top notch! My waiter was a older gentleman. Probably the best waiter I've ever had! Loved the rose and candle on my table. Complimentary chocolate covered strawberries! 10-10!“

“The manager and team made me feel so special on my birthday, minutes before closing.

I got off work late on my birthday, after working over 15 hours and drove to Olive Garden. I felt so bad walking in 5 mins before they closed to place a to go order. The place was empty and most of the servers had clocked out and were heading out the door.

I asked if it was ok to place an order and said id leave quickly. The manager didnt make me feel bad at all and said that's why they were still open. I ordered spaghetti and profusely apologized, explaining the long day and really wanting pasta for dinner. She asked me a few more questions and found out it was my birthday. She walked back to the kitchen, explaining that thr food would be ready soon. Within 3 mins, she came out with a group of workers, singing me happy birthday and presenting me with a piece of cake and lit candle. It absolutely made my day. As a military member living by myself, I otherwise wouldn't have had a birthday celebration that night. Im so thankful for the kindness shown by this location. When they easily (and understandably) couldve denied my initial order, alone, they connected with me and went out of there way to make me feel loved.“

“The arancini was the appetizer that stood out to me the most; they were so delicious and moist. The basil sauce elevated the arancini. I also loved their version of the Italian spritz with the citrus smash. The staff was friendly and charming. “MaMa’s has become far and above our favorite place to get pizza from in the Omaha. From the perfect crunchy crust, the awesome balanced sauce, fresh toppings to the fresh mozzarella cheese slices on top it is the most consistent, fantastic pizza! I started eating lunch at the original location and moved to Bennington and have eaten at the Pacific Street location for the last 8+.“

The upstairs dining spaces have that timeless old-school steakhouse charm, while the lower level event space feels updated and perfect for weddings and larger events. Alfie was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire process. He was incredibly accommodating, communicative, and truly went above and beyond to make our day special. From start to finish, he made everything feel easy and stress-free. The setup was perfect for our wedding. We loved being able to have the ceremony in one space and the reception in another, which made the evening flow seamlessly. The food was incredible, especially the steaks, and our guests are still talking about how great everything tasted. Parking was easy and plentiful, the service was excellent, and the entire team was efficient, helpful, and attentive all night long. Alfie made sure we never had to worry about a thing so we could fully enjoy the day with our family and friends. “We were looking for a place to have lunch not too far from the Omaha airport on the way back from Lincoln. I googled it and after looking at the recommendations and their menus, we selected this. It is an adorable restaurant. We ordered wine and their wood fired pizzas. It was delicious. I am a pizza fan, but I normally do not eat the crust. The crust was delicious and we both finished the entire pizza. Our server was awesome. If we lived near by we would definitely go back. We both highly recommend it.“

“I was host for a meeting for my women's group and set up to have meeting at PizzaWest Maple St. The day of the meeting, I had a family issue arise. I stopped at PizzaWest before rushing off to help family - just to make sure everything was still set for the meeting and ordered a couple pizzas for the ladies since I was not sure I would be back. “The place on the inside looks old like late 80s early 90s but its SUPER CLEAN, wait time was maybe 10 minutes at the most for two personal pictures and honestly.

OH MY GODDDDD, words do not even correctly express how GOOD the pizza was!! My husband smashed his whole personal and I've only got 2 slices left. Definitely coming back for more, I hope the people in charge give this location a not modern look update, I LOVE the old fashion feel in the air reminds me of my childhood and I want it to stay that way but a small touch up to their signs and advertisements would definitely help I think. Im gonna recommend this place for pizza hands down.“

I placed an order on Google, and shortly after received a call from Sbarro that they couldn't complete my order due to being understaffed that day. Christy was amazing and promised to make it right, and went above and beyond in doing so. I'm so impressed with this place.

Also, their Spinach Stromboli is in my top 5 favorite foods EVER. I love this place and will be back REPEATEDLY if my current history of doing so says anything ?“

“Delicious Italian - support local!“

“My husband and I went to a comedy show in the old market and after went to dinner. We are not from Omaha and wanted to try something new. We came across Zio's and went inside. We immediately were asked if we were there "picking up". I said no, and the waitress seemed instantly annoyed. We were seated at a table and ordered two waters. My husband asked if they had a restroom and the waitress gave a snarky reply "yeah, we got one" and then just stood there. My husband had to ask again, "where is it?" and the waitress flung her arm over her shoulder and said back there. Shortly after that we placed our order and I had a question about the toppings on the pizza. I was given a look like I was stupid and a slight eye roll. I asked for half our pizza to not have tomatoes. That request was met with another eye roll as yhe waitress scribbled our order down and walked away without another word. About 15 minutes later our pizza arrived and my husband asked for a parmesan cheese shaker. The waitress was annoyed at the request and made sure to correct him and said, "it's ROMANO not parmesan". She brought the shaker over and left. The waitress did not return once to check on our meal or drinks. We ate quickly as it was clear the restaurant closing for the evening. We asked for our ticket and a box. Being a pizza place, we expected to get a pizza box to take the remaining half of our large pizza home.(other tables had been given pizza boxes to take their leftovers) The waitress brought us a small square Styrofoam box that we had to stack and cram our pizza in to fit. As we left the restaurant we couldn't figure out why the waitress was so annoyed and rude the entire time we were there. After checking the website we found out why- this location closes at 9:30 on Saturday and we arrived around 9:20. Again, we have never visited this establishment before, but saw the lights on, patrons eating, and it smelled delicious so we chose to go in and eat. This had to have been the reason for our servers distain and ire. We arrived while the business was STILL OPEN, ate quickly, and were out the door by 9:57 pm. If this establishment doesn't want to serve customers during their designated hours of operation they should have told us they were no longer seating customers and we would have understood and found a different establishment to eat at. I would have rather gone elsewhere than sit through the terrible attitude and service we received at Zio's. In case a manager sees this review, although we never were given our servers name - she is older (maybe 50's), short, blond hair with a pink glitter extention, and a terrible attitude.“
