“I have been getting Dominican food from this joint for more than 15 years and it is always on point. They do not over season their food like most Dominican hot bar style restaurants do and their pernil is always good, not too salty not bland, not extremely juicy but not dry either and it's been really cheap and consistent with flavors. Out of the variety in the Passaic and Paterson area, this place is my number one choice for whenever I am craving Dominican food.“

“I live way down downtown and go out of my way to eat here. On the menu their specialty Shrimp Mofongo is not only unbelievable to eat, but fun to say. I don't need to promote their life-changing roast chicken. It's featured in the shop window and a large portrait is the only photo on the menu cover. “I was there today to celebrate my friend's retirement. Great experience! The food was amazingly good. I had the meatballs-dominican style- with rice and beans and maduros and a side salad. Simply delicious! The place was empty (we were there at 2:30pm) which made it even better. I love the atmosphere of the patio. Drinks were good. Prices very affordable. Michell was our waitress and she was simply lovely. Thank you to Wendy too. We are definitely going back soon.I almost forgot to mention. There is no problem at all with parking.“

The pork was nice and tender, used a plastic knife to cut easily. The place itself is honestly a questionable place, hole in the wall place.
