I had the double fried wings and sloppy joe bao bun for a starter and each dish was better than the last. the wings were super crispy yet tender inside and the sloppy joe bao buns were a trip down memory lane. the sloppy brought me back to my childhood eating at a friend's house. for my ramen I had the tonkatu. their pork broth was hearty and tasteful and reminded me of my first bowl of real ramen. I highly recommend going there and finding out on your own...”

We tried several, and seriously each one was SOOO GOOD!!! I'm a huge fan of Detroit style pizza, and it was cooked to perfection! Dessert was absolutely phenomenal as well! One of the best meals I've had in some time, from start to finish! They even had live music upstairs, which was such a nice surprise! Can't wait for our next trip back!!! The boss' service was very good and he patiently heated up the pizza. The brother who was sitting next to me drinking beer was also very friendly and told me that the similar looking pizzas were not the same, they used different cheese.
The pizza is really, really delicious. It's the best pizza I've ever had in Bloomfield.
It's a pity that the six point bar does not have such good service. They didn't believe my student ID and refused to sell me alcohol, however the bar opposite welcomed me warmly.
I actually had a really bad day, but because of the pizza here I feel healed and have the courage and enthusiasm to live, thank you.”

However my husband and I were part of a 14 person party tonight’s a mix diet of them individuals in attendance from vegan vegetarian and finicky and all American diet ! we had appetizers of mussels the sauce was medium and those that ate them raved about them the garlic knots were a perfect blend of butter and garlic the rice balls moist and cheesy and the calamari so tender it was excellent the small soups were a meal in its self! And the main dishes from vegan, italian, build your own, fish , meat and pasta entrees to empanadas each dish was a culinary delight so fresh tasty and the portions huge! Our group was extremely happy with their choices so much food for the price which was very reasonable! We made sure we met the chef and complimented him! Our waitress Rosa was friendly accommodating and always on top of our tables to ensure everyone’s needs were met and everyone was enjoying our dinner experience truly an asset to the business and her assistant Angel just as excellent! This place is truly a gem and perfect for the vegan and non vegan palate what a find tight in our own neighborhood my family will definitely be back! I tell her I had one for pickup and she shakes her head no and tells me to show her. I show her the confirmation on my phone, and she looks confused and goes to the back. She comes back and tells me to wait about 10 minutes. I already paid so I just decide to wait. It definitely took more than 10 minutes and I was just frustrated because how do you not know there’s a pick up order? It wasn’t even busy so I was just confused. I like to give her the benefit of the doubt cuz she probably honestly didn’t see it. It was just kinda inconvenient. The food was actually really good. I’m not too mad about it, just something to point out about my experience.”

“Tea-RX is a healthy eatery that I’ve been to frequently. It’s a very clean establishment with great tasting food, more significantly their smoothies in my opinion. On a nice hot day you can get one of their original drinks or smoothies and feel so refreshed. On a cool or cold day you can have a nice hearty oatmeal or breakfast sandwich that’s worth every penny. One other perk is card they offer customers so that after a certain amount of stamps you can receive a smoothie for free of a particular Oz. The staff is nice and they do their best every time.”

“I’ve been ordering from The Pit for years the staff is always friendly, and the food is consistently fresh and flavorful. No complaints there at all.

That said, I wanted to give a heads-up for anyone ordering the beef ribs half combo. I recently ordered the same half beef rib(S) and chicken combo I’ve gotten in the past. Typically, when I order the half beef rib(s), I receive 2–3 beef chuck ribs. This time, however, I only received one rib — which was surprising, considering the plural wording and my prior experiences.

I called and spoke with Jeff, who was respectful and upfront. He mentioned that the combo only includes one beef rib and that prices have gone up (which I totally get). Still, based on my regular orders over the years, I’ve never received just one rib until now. Either way, I appreciate his transparency.

For context:
• Half chicken combo = ~$11.95
• Half beef rib(S) & chicken combo = ~$16.95

So if you’re expecting multiple beef ribs, you may want to reconsider and go for the chicken or pork ribs instead both still come in hearty portions.

To be clear, this isn’t a complaint just advice for fellow regulars or first-timers who may be surprised by the term beef rib(S)with a single rib. I’ve even added pictures in photos comparing what I received vs. the half chicken combo.

Bottom line: The Pit remains a solid spot with delicious food, generous sides, and great service just be mindful of the current beef rib portions when ordering.”

“For starters, careful if you go on a weekend for lunch. The place was slammed and it took me 40 mins to get a cheesesteak. My fault, I should have ordered ahead. Be warned though, this is not a quick stop kind of place.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. I ordered the new school cheesesteak as is. The flavors were solid. You could taste all of the ingredients and the steak was high quality. I found the seeded bread to be a nice touch and it was soft with a good chew. The texture of the beef and cheese combo was not my favorite though. It was very one note, somewhere between mushy and chalky. It wasn’t bad. It was just different. I think it was the cooper cheese they use. The sandwich held up really well and wasn’t messy at all. But I think I missed the messiness and drippy-ness of a traditional Philly cheesesteak. But I get it. This is “new school”.

The interior is nothing to write home about, with a few 2-3 seater tables. Most people were taking their orders to go, as did I. Not many options for waiting around either, so just ended up waiting in my car.

Overall, a solid sandwich and at a decent price point. I want to go back to try the old school and the roast beef sandwich.”

“Good Ecuadorian bakery from the Sierra, Riobamba región of Ecuador. Ecuador has a lot of diversity. Especially the coast and the Sierra side.
I bought bread, roscas and cachos with Cheese. Cachos are like croissants with cheese inside which was really good. The bread is really good it was freshly baked. The salty roscas, they broke since they were placed in a plastic bag. Maybe a box would be better. But they were good. I also bought sweet roscas which were good, they didn't break but tasted a little stale.
I also bought some mini dulce de leche empanada (forgot the name). But I tasted dry and a little stale.
I'll definitely go back for the bread.

“This is not a typical food review that i normally would do. Its a review to say Thank you to the staff Thursday night August 21st between 10- 11pm.
I was with a friend standing in line waiting to order when i had a medical emergency and collapsed unconscious. I woke up in a very weakened and lethargic state with restaurant staff and my friend picking me up and putting me in a chair. A staff member insisted i drink some water while others comforted me. They called paramedics and i was rushed to the hospital. Because of the quick thinking of the staff they eliminated an event that could have taken my life. I never got my food which i really wanted but am so grateful to this staff. At some point i will come in person to thank you. You get 5 stars for all you did.”

We usually doubt come here because it’s usually packed because it’s very small. However, since we opened the store there was not a long line. It was only 1 cook and 1 server when we arrived. The lady apologized for any delays. The food was hot and cooked as IHOP should taste. She even separated the ice so I can adjust it to my liking.”
