“Some of the best viet food I have had in the tri-state area. The summer rolls were some of the best. The vegan Lemongrass soup was very flavourful and satisfying. The grilled meat Pao also did not disappoint! Everything was cooked to perfection. Cuisine was very authentic. The hostest was very friendly and made great recommendations and suggestions. The atmosphere is very clean and pleasant. Most of the seating is booths. The neon decorations are corky. The chopstix are solid, long, plastic ones. Decore is bright and cheery.“
“Seriously the best pho place that I’ve ever been to!!Pho has really tasty deep broth and there is so much meat or seafood depending on what your order is. Not only pho is really good, spring rolls are also very fresh and tasty (seriously the best) and fried rice and pork chops are top notch! My entire family has been coming here ever since we found this place (we used to come here twice a week). Thank you so much for the good food and kind service!!“
“As with all Asian spots, always try to time your visit when it's not busy. Interior is simple and really samples the street elements of Saigon - sheet metal, wooded sloted window panes, cafe du mond all over. Menu design has a dope ode to their Vietnamese history - important because identity plays into how authentic the food will turn out.Ordered the BBH. Clean & absolutely flavorful broth. Service was really prompt. Soup came out in less than 10m, just like how they used to speed serve at the the old Miss Saigon in dtjc. That's top tier quality & service for me. 10s across the board. I've found my new soup spot since New Thanh Hoai had to shut down“
“I’ve been a loyal customer of theirs ever since the original location located in Chinatown, NY. Their food, & hospitality made you feel at home, and after relocating to Jersey City, they still hold that same level of service & hospitality. I love the food, I love their service, and I love their restaurant, it’s like a small mom & pop shop. My dad loves to go here occassionally, I live much further away now so I can’t visit as often. But I always come to pay my respects & order a nice bowl of Pho.“
“Wow, a foodie gem in the heart of mid-America. We had a simple but classy evening. Great host, attentive wait person, excellent food served hot and tasty. It is a joy to experience the variety and inovation that the inclusiveness of America offers. That you Jesus for the mix of culture and food that makes America great!“
“Vietnamese food is one of my favorite cuisines so I've had a lot of Viet food in my life. I've also been to Vietnam three times. So believe me when I say Saigon Bistro has really good Viet food! The grilled pork was delicious and juicy. Spring rolls were crispy and perfectly cooked. Summer rolls were also good. We also got the sweet corn pudding which we liked too. Oh service is great as well. We'll be back many times.“
“My wife and I ordered a vermicelli bowl each, hers with grilled chicken and mine with grilled pork and spring rolls. The spring rolls were fantastic as were the grilled meats. The only reason I've given 4 stars and not 5 was because both of us felt that they had skimped on the veggies. Service was great. I'm glad we went and highly recommend the restaurant.“
“One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in New Jersey. The food they serve is always delicious. I recommend the Pho (pronounced FA) or grilled pork or chicken over rice. You can not go wrong, as I have not come across anything that wasn’t delicious. The restaurant is well decorated, with plenty of seating. There are always people when I come, but never had to wait more than a minute to be seated. The staff is what makes this one if my favorites also. They are so polite and take the time to answer any questions and always assure me that they will double check with allergy related orders. They are very attentive and I love the offer or water or hot tea when they seat you. Get the hot tea! A mini pot will be brought to your table for your personal use.Such a fantastic option in town. Great for lunch or dinner. Really a gem. If you haven’t tried it yet, please make sure to. Well worth it.“
“I got the clay pot pork and it was enjoyable. The dish has a caramelized onion gravy with marinated pork and includes a side salad and rice. The salad was salad, rice was rice, the gravy was the star. It was like a French onion soup with a sweet-savory pork.Overall food was good, but not mind-blowing. For $24 I would have hoped for more pork.“
“I would say it's nice styling please , with all decorations , pretty much empty no lines in Friday night. But as person who was in Vietnam for a while I can say food can be much better and authentic than it is. Some original flavor of Vietnam I didn't find in my PHo soup and summer rolls.“
“The service was amazing. Everyone was helping each other and they were all sooo nice. The place was busy so that’s always a good sign. We had oxtail pho and beef which was pretty yummy. The Vietnamese coffee was good and so was their jelly bean coconut shaved ice.“
“Came solo around 8pm on a Wednesday as I was craving some good ole pho. It was well lit and a bit busy but was able to grab a table since they were closing in an hour.I ordered beef pho, no cilantro but I still tasted someone must’ve dropped a flake or two before remembering the no cilantro part. They give you a MASSIVE amount of beef. I had to have eaten about 4 pieces and could tell there was at least 6 left. I’m more of a soup and noodles person. Would’ve loved to have more noodles but I’ll order that way next time. I recommend as I will be back again. The food is good! The only issue I had was the atmosphere. They were painting, hammering pictures to the walls and setting up additional tables while we were there eating. Could’ve totally waited until the customers were gone for this.“
