“I am a frequent visitor at this location in Brooklawn. Today I witnessed something so appalling and I cannot believe not one coworker tried to come to the defense of this poor young lady. Anytime I've ever dealt with Ashley she is very kind helpful and polite not to mention quite the multitasker. There seem to have been an issue with their system which delayed some orders. She handled herself very well. Despite the lack of help or communication from fellow workers. One gentleman arrived in regular clothes kept yelling only at her none of the other employees who were clearly all the same ethnicity. It is not the first time I've witnessed something like this at this location. The men are clearly communicating back and forth in whatever language. I assume he was the owner. Great job young lady. You deserve better. There's also another young lady who works in the daytime although she seems aloof she is very helpful also.“

“I was in Lancaster PA for a Coffee conference and decided to stop in Philly for some cheesesteaks on the way home and had to stop here. By far the best Philly Cheesesteak I’ve ever had to date. I’ve also tried a lot of the Tristate areas best pizza spots and the pizza I got was one of the best I’ve had in recent memory. The quality of the ingredients they used was fantastic as well. I unfortunately didn’t get a picture of the cheesesteak because I ate it so fast due to how good it was, but it will not disappoint.“

Mulherin's Sons and they got us a table in about 15 minutes. We proceeded to have one of the best meals I've had in a while! Starters: the octopus was crispy but succulent and the focaccia was pillowy perfection! Cocktails were excellent. The sausage pizza had a wonderful mix of flavors and the crust!! ? I could have eaten the pizza crust on its own, honestly. Thick and chewy on the edges and perfectly done throughout. We also shared a seasonal pasta with ramps, morels, peas, and asparagus, and got the chocolate mousse cake and gelato for dessert, which were heavenly. “True old world Italian cooking artistry. Opened in 1899 Dante and Luigi's is one of the oldest restaurants in Philadelphia PA. It is certainly the oldest Italian eatery in Philly. Cozy with well dressed wait staff and old world decor. The food tells the story here. I have eating there since college. I took my dates there when I was 18. I go for the food. Delicious is the keyword. Savory tomato sauces, tender meats and exquisite desserts if you have the room after eating your meal. On my recent visit I had pasta fagoli and a side of roasted peppers and provolone to start and their homemade lasagna for the main course. Everything was scrumptious. Even though I was bordering on I can't eat another bite I had the tiramisu for dessert. I couldn't resist. Dante and Luigi is easily my favorite Italian restaurant and a cut about the rest.“

I opted for a special of the day - pork pieces with skin still attached cooked in an amazing salsa verde, served with warm house-made tortillas, rice, and beans. So delicious eaten taco-style with a just-right hot sauce. My wife had a shrimp dish in mildly spicy tomato sauce and side salad, also delicious. We started with the house-made guacamole which was outstanding, along with fresh in-house tortilla chips. BYOB meant we enjoyed the meal with our own beers. And a cake … my dasher went out of his way to go all the way back to the store which he didn’t have to do. But a hour later we received the pizza cold as ever but it was still good. Also love the wine, particularly the Pinot Gris, and my sister enjoyed the Riesling. The pizza is delicious, love the mushroom pizza and they usually have some kind of yummy special. The buffalo wings have a great heat and are juicy with plenty of meat—I don’t even like wings but these are ones I crave. Lots of veggie options, too—salads, yummy fried artichoke app, and pizzas. “Great new interesting option at a local family run Pizza Shop. They have added Birria pizza to the selection, it's like "Sunday Dinner at Mom's on a slice" it is a very flavorful slow cooked pot roast type beef on pizza crust with excellent flavors and if your over 50 it is likely to take you on a journey back to Sunday dinner at home when you were growing up in the US. It is served with a unique au jus dipping gravy. I still find the dining room uncomfortable, the music and tv is always tuned for the staff not customers and the tables almost all rock and don't match up to each other or the booths well, you have to sit on cracks and such. Also the temperature in the dining room is always a comfortable for the kitchen staff even if you as a customer need gloves and a hat to sit and eat. Tables rarely get wiped. The staff is all pretty nice and the location is convenient to city hall, love park, and transit. I highly suggest you try this today! Take it to go!“
