“Spent a couple of hours at Tonewood Brewing in Barrington last weekend and we were incredibly hungry. I asked one of the bartenders what he recommended for delivery and he suggested Brooklyn Original. We were not disappointed. We ordered the Bella Luna that's sliced sausage, mozzarella, ricotta with Mike's hot honey. It was amazing. The pizza was huge and tasted delicious. Can't wait to get back to try more of the menu.“
“I took a chance ordering from here while staying at a hotel up the street and let me just say WOW! I ordered a small Stromboli which has sausage, pepperoni and mozz cheese with a 4oz side of sauce. The menu I had said 11.99 but I guess they charge a delivery fee because it came to $16 plus another few bucks for a tip. Delivery was fast and the driver was courteous and friendly. I asked for a few paper plates which were provided along with napkins. I’ll admit when I first opened the box I was a bit underwhelmed with the size, even though I ordered a small it was pretty small for a $20 Stromboli. My initial disappointment was immediately gone once I took a piece (I liked that they sliced it into 4 slices) and dipped it into their sauce and took a bite. It was packed with pepperoni, delicious Italian sausage (not that pork crumble ball crap but real sliced Italian sausage) and delicious grande mozzarella cheese! Their red sauce was probably one of the best I’ve tasted in a very long time. It was cooked perfectly to a shiny golden brown (they must egg wash it). I couldn’t stop eating it and didn’t leave a crumb behind. If the rest of their food is even half as good you’ll be happy you ordered from here. It was worth every penny even with tip and delivery fee but in the future I’ll save the extra $6-7 and pick it up. I wish I had stopped for half a second to take a picture for everyone but I’ll add one next time I get one which I’m sure will be soon.Edit 1/26/24 - So, it’s only been a couple days and I couldn’t resist trying their pizza!I ordered a thick crust Sicilian with 1/2-sausage for pickup. Let me just say it did not disappoint in the least bit, 16 thick slices of absolute heaven! It was cooked perfectly, the sauce was just as tasty as it was with the Stromboli, the thick slices of fennel laced Italian sausage are delicious (could’ve used a few more slices but the quality makes up for it and I’m just a huge fan of sausage so I can always use more!) and the grande mozz cheese is creamy, stretchy and delicious, and this thick crust is light-airy and not greasy. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a Sicilian pizza this good. I’ll be moving next week but you can bet that anytime I’m in the area that this will be my go to pizzeria. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better pizza or Stromboli in the area (I know I’ve tried quite a few and none compared)!“
“We are so incredibly lucky to live less than a 10min walk from West Passyunk to Stina. The food, staff and space are a perfectly balanced blend with so much love, care and attention to detail put into each dish. Order everything… Stina forever! 5⭐️“
“This place is a definite must-visit! I went all in with the pizza and cheesesteak, and while the cheesesteak didn't quite steal the show for me, the pizza totally rocked my taste buds into another dimension! Seriously, it was pizza perfection—so good, it deserves a 9.2 on the deliciousness scale!“
“I am so happy I chose Treno to host a baby shower. Everyone was so easy to work with. Jackie was very responsive and helpful in the planning process and Mandy and Kara were pleasant and efficient tending to food and bar. The food was delicious and the patio was perfect with plenty of space for my 35 guests. .“
“The intent is clear and well executed. It didn't seem like a place that aims to put pizza on a pedestal rather a well put together representation of desired traits specific to the Philadelphia dining scene. The pizza leaned towards a bar pie, that was executed by someone who has a devout understanding of the dough and the other ingredients involved. The soft serve was well spun and tasty. Overall the hype is real and was a real joy to visit!“
“I stumbled upon this great spot that serves an amazing Chilli Paneer Pizza – it's really something with its spicy kick and cheesy goodness. And the Achari Chicken Wings? They're a perfect match with the pizza. Topped off with a Limca, it makes for a fantastic meal. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're up for something new!“
“The food was excellent and the service was good. We went for an event and I just don't think this space was right for it. We also ended up at their 2nd location by accident and ended up crashing another private party. It was overall a nice time and we enjoyed the food, just wish there was more space to enjoy it in.“
“Lucked in to finding this place while in town. Small local restaurant, clean and friendly. The mozzarella sticks are freshly cut, battered and deep fried. Best I’ve ever had. The pizza was amazing. Had pepperoni and sausage. Sausage was legit good!“
“True old world Italian cooking artistry. Opened in 1899 Dante and Luigi's is one of the oldest restaurants in Philadelphia PA. It is certainly the oldest Italian eatery in Philly. Cozy with well dressed wait staff and old world decor. The food tells the story here. I have eating there since college. I took my dates there when I was 18. I go for the food. Delicious is the keyword. Savory tomato sauces, tender meats and exquisite desserts if you have the room after eating your meal. On my recent visit I had pasta fagoli and a side of roasted peppers and provolone to start and their homemade lasagna for the main course. Everything was scrumptious. Even though I was bordering on I can't eat another bite I had the tiramisu for dessert. I couldn't resist. Dante and Luigi is easily my favorite Italian restaurant and a cut about the rest.“
“Our first visit to La Ingrata and we had a wonderful experience. Co-owner Karla talked us through the menu and provided great service and conversation throughout the meal. I opted for a special of the day - pork pieces with skin still attached cooked in an amazing salsa verde, served with warm house-made tortillas, rice, and beans. So delicious eaten taco-style with a just-right hot sauce. My wife had a shrimp dish in mildly spicy tomato sauce and side salad, also delicious. We started with the house-made guacamole which was outstanding, along with fresh in-house tortilla chips. BYOB meant we enjoyed the meal with our own beers. Outstanding food, friendly service, a chance to taste some new dishes and a Mexico City-style of cooking, and affordable prices - we'll definitely be back!“
“Ever since the new owners took over this place, the level of detail throughout the experience has really exceeded expectations. Every single pizza slice I've ordered here has been exceptional, their staff incredibly friendly and accommodating and I just can't think of a better pizza place in the area that offers this level of service. I highly recommend this place for any occasion!“
“The pizza is really good. I like the flavor of the pizza and the chicken tenders. The garlic knots are fresh and they taste just as good if you eat it the next day. The staff is friendly and ordering online is easy and quick. I would recommend this place.“
“This space is breathtaking. From the first few steps in, you know it’s going to be a good food experience. Meticulous detail on decor and the dishes. We had an oyster appetizer, fresh and well treated. We tried their pasta dishes and the spicy chicken sandwich and neither disappointed. Hands down best restaurant in the city.“
“We had a delicious meal here! Highlights were focaccia with whipped ricotta, the squash pasta (forget the fancy namebut it’s the interesting shaped one below), and the chocolate mousse cake. Service was great too! We were originally slotted to have an outdoor table but they were able to squeeze us indoors. Would definitely come back.“
“Great little local pizza spot. Ordered a 16 inch circle pie and could not have been happier with it. Also had curly fries and pickled long hots which hit the spot. The window person was exceptionally friendly and I waited 5 minutes less than originally told for my order which rarely happens anywhere these days. Food and Service 5 stars, and only rated atmosphere 3 stars because it is just outdoors, still cool benches and a long standing table to eat at. Will be going back for sure.“
“20th Street carries the torch for Philly vegan pizzerias, following in the tradition of Gianna’s & Blackbird of yesteryear - except 20th Street does it best. Even writing this review & considering the Haymaker or Pepperoni slices, my mouth waters & belly growls! HahaThis is sourdough artisanal vegan pizza at its best, try any selection from the pies at the counter, you will not be disappointed!Vegetarian options: Vegan menu - plant based restaurant“
“Bacio strikes again! Kudos to our friends Pam and Chef Robert! Thier pre-cooked Valentine's Day Dinner for 2 was amazing! From the salads all the way thru to the desserts, every course was fantastic. And the best part is that the portions were large enough that we will switch our entrees and get another full meal out of it! Thanks again for a great dinner!“
“I’ve eaten here twice, now. I thought there was no way that what I ordered tonight (quesadillas w/rib eye) could match the Bufalo pizza from two days ago. I was as wrong as I could be. I’m guessing that I will eat here 80 to 100 times this year. It’s THAT good.“
“Food was amazing! We almost didn't come here because they didn't have many reviews but we are so glad we did. Food was exceptional and the service was fantastic . We started with the beet salad and octopus, shared the branzino and finished with the tiramisu. We can't wait to come back!“
“Obsessed! As a Brooklynite we know good pizza... this right here, is just that! The dough is exquisite, the sauce had sweet notes, the pepperoni (siiigh) and love the creativity of the menu. It's nice to have a place out here to remind me of home. I can't do 5 Stars - might be because of the atmosphere tbh.“
“Had a slice n a cheese steakfood came out fastSlice wasn't heated up n cheese steak very basic roll n meat average n seemed not heated either, most strange bc came out very fasthuge selection of ready pies/slices on display..( Just specify you want Hot food ) if u gobe best to go early in day for slices so not dried up and or order a fresh pie or I'm assuming plain slices get replenished thru out dayPretty lady bartender was friendly and acts as waitress It looked clean n prices average for center city and it's a sports bar too“
“202305The first time I ate it was at an event where they set up a stall and it was amazing. Later, I went to the venue to eat. You can call to order first or you will have to wait for a long time. The thick pizza is delicious. The employees seem to be almost all freshmen and they are treated very friendly!“
“I LOVE EDDIES PIZZA!!! I have been coming here for the past 3 years and it is the best pizza I’ve ever had. They should come out with merch because I would rep this spot any day! The vodka margarita and the plain pizza have my heart. It’s a family owned business and they really care about their food.“
“Food is really good I got the fettuccine Alfredo, I got a small pizza half pep that they forgot to deliver with door dash. And a cake … my dasher went out of his way to go all the way back to the store which he didn’t have to do. But a hour later we received the pizza cold as ever but it was still good. I just wish the pizza store would have cooked us a fresh pizza since they forgot to give it to the dasher. But other then that I will be back in person for more food“
“This cool vibe place is friendly, and well staffed with an open style kitchen. Creative menu with ingredients applied tactfully with an appropriate touch. Smaller plates are perfect portions and served at an enjoyable pace.Def worth stopping in.“
“I ordered a plain cheese pizza for take out on a Sunday afternoon. I had to wait 25 minutes but it was worth it. Like most places in the city, parking options are very limited. When I walked in to their shop I saw several happy customers eating away, enjoying their food. The place seats about 20 people. Nice low key , no frills, South Philly Italian pizza parlor vibe with very good food. It beats standing in line at Angelo’s.“
“Visiting Philadelphia over Easter. Ended up at Prunella Sunday afternoon. The Honey Fitzgerald cocktail was amazing! Ordered the Caesar salad which was a great surprise to the tastebuds, and the pizza was just so damn delicious. The service and atmosphere was perfect. Had dinner the previous evening at The Capital Grille, but I enjoyed Prunella for the casual feel and experience we had. Prunella will be first on my list when visiting Philadelphia next. I just loved everything about it!“
“Hands down, Singas Pizza Place is the BEST pizza joint I've ever been to! The service was top-notch - friendly, attentive But the real star of the show is the pizza... oh, the pizza! Fresh, flavorful ingredients, perfectly cooked crust, and generous portions. I've tried several pies, and each one has been a revelation. Whether you're a classic margherita fan or an adventurous topping-seeker, Singas has got you covered. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a permanent spot on my favorite places list!!“
“Walked over on a rainy day and found the crowd light, so we took a place at the bar. Ordered drinks and a pizza (regular pie with vegan pepperoni) and watched the first period of the Flyers Game. Pizza was excellent and we will definitely be going backVegetarian options: For vegetarians / vegans you can get pretty much the whole menu as a vegan option.“
“The spaghetti & meatballs are amazing. The meatballs taste like the famous comedian Dom Deluise mom's recipe that I have been making for at least 30 years. Moist & flavorful. We have had several meals & pizza from here and all have been exceptional! Not your typical pizza place! Looking forward to trying more tasty menu items!“
“One of the only original real Italian food, and people. I'm part Sicilian. I love it. The other 100% Italian pizza place is Riccardo's in Beverly city, NJ. Highley recommend. If not I will reimburse you. For either place. They definitely need to deliver.Parking: There is about 500 spots to park, and for pick up you can park out front.Kid-friendliness: Bring them all john will make them laugh.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp at the door, low bumb at the door and plenty room to wheel around.“
“Stella has made me happy with its excellent employees, taste and visuality. We ate pizza, pasta and dessert. The place is beautiful from the decorative acid. There is a pizza oven that you can watch in your case. The employees are cute. The only point I stuck on was that the girl standing at the head of the oven did not put a cap on her hair. Especially, it can be ensured that an employer in the eyes of Boyle pays a little more attention and does not have the mind of the customer. The customer quality is very good. Also, the waiters and the employees who stand for the door to meet are also very respectful.“
“Ordered a large pizza through Slice app. Pizza was ready on time and staff were friendly. The best part was the pizza tasted quite good. I am fairly picky when it comes to pizza. The crust had a nice crunch, sauce was tasty and the cheese was quality. Had a slice before I got home because it smelled fantastic.“
“I occasionally deliver mail along this stretch of town and when I do this is where I stop for lunch. I've lived in Philly for over thirty years now and I've had my fair share of cheesesteaks. This place has one of the best I've ever had. I know it surprised me too! I recently strayed and ordered mama's lasagne and mama knows exactly what she's doing. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite. There are daily soups, homemade Spanakopita and all the other regulars. Pizza, sandwiches, burgers and breakfast! Enjoy“
“I’ve been coming here for years as a student at temple university! It’s one of the places that I enjoy going too and always rave about. The pizza never disappoints, and the slices are good for what you pay! Never disappointed. I usually get a plain, margarita, or a buffalo chicken. Today I got a buffalo chicken with my friend and we both enjoyed it!“
“This is seriously terrific pizza. We've gotten pizza from here twice and it's been excellent both times--honestly don't quite understand how this place doesn't get more buzz. Also, it's apparently founded and owned by an SJU grad named Anthony Pizza??? C'mon, it's just too perfect. The green olives and broccoli rabe are an A+ combo“
“Live love Chucks ? best water ice and custard in South Philly, everything is homemade and fresh and the owners are so sweet. Down to earth place, prices are affordable. Personal favorite ices are the black cherry, pina colada, and strawberry lemonade.“
“My husband & I love Carollas. The owner is so kind & friendly, his staff is super efficient & the food is superb. The outdoor seating is under cover in the cooler months with heaters if needed. Such a pleasure to have a great restaurant so close to home! I highly recommend!!Parking: Parking is available behind the restaurant“
“I will warn that it is very much pizza shop vibe as far as aesthetics.. but I must say I have heard nothing but absolutely raving reviews about their food and I was not disappointed! The pizza crust was out of this world with options you don’t see everywhere, like cacio e pepe, and their cocktails are fun and delicious! Also 48263929 bonus points for bringing a cake out with a candle when all I did was click “Birthday” on Resy. I have NEVER had a restaurant do this! Also music was trendy. 10/10 would recommend. Come during the week when it’s slow for optimal comfort! We will be back ?“
“Delightfully simple and feeling like family, extra friendly service and sublime Italian dive, us guys sampled this excellent East coast pizza place on a whim and got our faces stuffed! The atmosphere is cozy and clean, but no bathrooms, great presentation of options and grand menu for a small eatery. The simple pie and BBQ were both ideal. Weirdly no public bathrooms, a poor oversight for an attempt at becoming Philly famous.“
“Center City Philadelphia has a pizza slice deficit and Tetra’s solving that problem. Despite a few two-top tables in the back, Tetra is really a takeout spot with solid pizza baked in a fantastic conveyor belt oven. This oven process ensures that every pizza comes out perfectly. When I want a slice near 20th and Market, I go here and you should, too.“
“Pizza is normally very good, a few misses but overall it is good, sauce is great. Prices go up every time I visit and is now $6 a slice/ $6.50 if you want a small box! Super small place, a little sketchy outside, and cash only. Continuing to be a regular customer though.“
“We had a good time here. Food was awesome. Our server was excellent. The only issue I had was the tipping situation. I was with a party of 6. We normally tip good. But this place takes out 20%. . I don't like a place telling me what to tip. That's not how that works. 80 dollars in a tip. Tipping how much is up to the customers.“
“Overall 5 stars,This is their carnivore pizza without bacon. We also had their white Detroit pizza, I would rate 7/10, room for improvement for the price I think added ricotta would have been an amazing benefit. There is another establishment we usually frequent but I think I just found the best pizza in twp“
“I am declaring Founded Pizza's Caprese Pizza a culinary masterpiece blending fresh greens, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil on a perfectly crispy crust. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, elevated by a delicate balsamic glaze. It’s surprising to find such commitment to quality and attention to detail in a local pizza joint, but Founded Pizza offers an exceptional selection that will leave me craving for more. We’re lucky to have a Pizza restaurant offering this level of quality in East Falls.“
“The Owner & staff is the best they always accommodate me with my light cook pizzas for my uncle!!!because he has no teeth and he enjoys King Pizza. To the staff much appreciated ??☪️?that’s LOVE PERIOT! I’m super grateful ☺️ for the small things in life to make a senior citizen ? “
“There wasn't much room and we were just about to leave, but the waitress Azra immediately accompanied us. We drank Watermelon mint, she did her job quickly and was very friendly. We didn't expect to encounter a Turk. I guess he was the only Turk. Thank you for the nice conversation and the nice drinks. The place was very nice in terms of decoration, there are not many hookah places like this around here. Thanks again to Azra, see you again??“
“I’ve driven past this place a million times and it’s always piqued my curiosity… so I finally tried it out and I’m happy to say that it is now officially on my go-to list for excellent, no frills, takeout pizza. The baked ziti pizza immediately caught my eye and it was fantastic! Who doesn’t love carbs on carbs?!? The super veggie pie with fresh garlic, broccoli, spinach, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and yellow squash was also outstanding and loaded with toppings. Finally, the ultimate judgement is made from the plain cheese pizza; great sauce that was not too sweet, a good cheese to sauce ratio, and a flavorful thin NY style crust. They advertise “quality and authenticity” and quality is definitely what you get in this pizza! Also doesn’t hurt that everyone is super nice and friendly!“
“What a great place…. Had a weird request and we think they thought we were joking! We were headed to my grandfather‘s birthday. He was turning 101 and we asked him to customize the pizza. We asked them to add 101 in pepperoni, I think they thought we were joking, but they fulfilled our request. What an awesome way to celebrate the birthday with excellent food. We shall be back again, and again, thank you for making our grandfather‘s birthday super special.“
