“This is the second time I have eaten here with my family. Our waiter this time was Jen, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely helpful as we had a small child with our party and she helped us so much with trying to keep a 2 year old happy. Jen was an absolute gem!The food was absolutely delicious and honestly seems to get better every time we go. The steaks were tender, the French onion soup was savory and delicious, and the appetizers were too good that we almost missed out on the main course cause we ate so much.100% coming back again and again. The food is great. The staff is warm and welcoming and makes you feel like family.Kid-friendliness: Our waiter was so kind and sweet with my niece who had been quite fussy missing her nap. She gave us little cups and some extra lemon which my niece loved. One of the busboys was also extremely helpful when my niece spilled an entire cup of water everywhere. He was quick and super helpful with bringing some towels over, and helping us clean up. The whole staff are sweet as can be. The whole team seem to have a great vibe.“

“I'll start with the good, since it outweighs the bad.First time at The Chophouse. I've been wanting to check it out since forever and finally got a chance over the weekend.We made reservations and were seated within minutes.The restaurant is beautiful with views of a lake - very nice for special occasions.The entire staff, from the valet attendants, hostesses, bartenders up to the wait staff are top-notch. Our waitress was Jen and she was excellent, attentive and personable.So far so good.I chose the 14oz. dry-aged steak because it was a special occasion and I had never had it before. I read that dry-aging makes the meat tender and very flavorable.Well, they got the flavorable part right. But tender it was not. In fact I'd say it was one of the toughest steaks I've ever had. I needed to slice it into thin strips just to chew it. Very disappointed.Also, know in advance that the steak doesnt come with any sides. Luckily I ordered the lyonnaise potatoes, which are basically home fries, and werent cooked completely - some were crunchy.My wife's scallop dish tasted delicious, as was our appetizer.My smoked old-fashioned was very good, as were the wines and beers.I will give The Chophouse another chance but I won't be ordering the dry-aged steak again. A shame.“

“I've gotten food from here a few times... always oxtails, and the oxtail portions always seem to be a good size... more than other places I've been to and the food sometimes is just okay. But today the food tasted really good! The oxtails were tender and flavorful, the plantain wasn't greasy and the rice was cooked right this time... not mushy. I'm fully satisfied with my meal.My 4 rating is for the beef patty.... each time there's a weird taste and the meat is questionable“

“My bf and I came here to dinner tonight after some shopping and Kaitlyn… (sorry if I misspelled your name) was our amazing server!!!We were starving and I didn’t get a chance for photos but the chicken dip app, spicy chicken tacos, and chicken bowl were all great! The bowl had all the protein and goodness I was craving! So great as in… perfectly tasting, well served and quality worth. Drinks were also the best we’ve had at a Mexican restaurant in a while.. rosemary paloma was his fave! & I enjoyed the cocktail 'something smash' name, that I can’t remember.But we will be back! “We had Andrew who was amazing. My husband drinks a lot & he was never lacking for ice tea. Most places you have a hard time keeping track of the server. Food was on time & he was extremely pleasant. We will definitely be back & request him.“

“I really can't comment on the service or atmosphere, this was a pick order and my daughter went in to get the order but, the wings I had were delicious. I believe their wings are grilled and I had the Korean BBQ sauce, a little spicy to me but oh so good meaty and tender and not hard to bite or chew.“
