“Another fantastic dinner at PS Kitchen. Highly recommend the Thai Chili wings, crabby cakes and Brussel Sprouts. Our table also had the Linguini Alfredo, Cesar wrap and the Thai Sweet Chili Sandwich. We didn’t like the pretzel bun but otherwise everything was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are friendly and we did not feel rushed. Will definitely be coming again and highly recommend.“
“One of the most upscale vegan restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of going to. Terrific Asian foods with veggie flair, and unqiue cocktails to boot. Try the Bang Bang Broccoli and thank me later... its tempura heaven!Vegetarian options: An all vegan menu in midtown Manhattan!Dietary restrictions: An all vegan menu in midtown Manhattan!“
“Ever since Village Crown closed I have missed a truly satisfying kosher restaurant...and now that I am vegan the challenge is greater. I had a birthday celebration for a party of seven...on a rainy night the place was warm and welcoming. We put together a tasting menu and all of us were wowed. A "cheese platter" that a cheese lover would savor. Chewy mushroom calamari with a magical aioli, fried artichoke with the lightest coating, pizza from fig, to sausage to wild mudhrooms with a soft chewy crust and deceivingly realistic cheese; pastas from a delicious eggless porkless spagetti carbonara, "squid ink" ravioli that was a stunningly luscious mystery to me. These were the highlights of a memorable dining experience in a charming place.“
“Absolutely 10/10 experience every time I go here. The staff is amazing and the food is out of this world. The best vegan calamari I've ever had BY FAR and the Chunk steak is prepared perfectly. I would 100% keep going back again and again“
“The Chimi pizza was bomb! The dough was baked just right not too burnt not too soft perfect and crunchy.Don’t get me started on the Dominican Pizza. It was so good it took me back to thanksgiving with my aunt who makes it perfectly. It took me back home and almost made me search the kitchen for my aunt?.Owner was great interacted with us and made conversation very genuine and warm welcomingParking: Parking was pretty decent. Not great not badKid-friendliness: Music was clean and up beat“
“This is a very lively Mediterranean brasserie. Completely vegan menu and unique culinary experience.I like that the menu is short and focuses on details of every dish. The vibrant flavors in every item are sourced from local and fresh ingredients. The texture and taste to the dishes resemble to the meat. They are moderately expensive which would roughly cost around 50-70$ per person. The service was quick even though it was a busy afternoon.I liked the ambiance and vibe of this place. We were served by Venesa, she was very sweet and friendly.“
“Franchia is hands-down one of the best vegan dining experinces in NYC. This restaurant has become my new favorite place to eat! The menu is comprehensive and rich with flavorful and delicious options to choose from. I really appreciate being able to select from a variety of hot teas, drinks, and desserts, too. The host, servers, and waitstaff are friendly and attentive. The interior of the restaurant itself is beautifully designed and kindles a warm and relaxing atmosphere. I'm happy every time I come here and look forward to my next visit. Best, Evan“
“This. Was. Unbelievable. The place has limited seating just a warning if you’re a big party- I got the chopped cheese platter over fries and my boyfriend got the chopped cheese sandwich with fries and we both got drinks. All together it was about $53!100000/10Dietary restrictions: Gluten free option“
“I was so tired so I grabbed the first thing I saw that looked familiar instead of reading the menu or checking out comments. It was beyond burger, which was delicious. After I ordered I saw crab cakes that looked yum, I wish I tried those too. They also had a bunch of desserts that looked good, but I can't eat that much at once. So if I'm ever back in New York I'm definitely coming there again. Service is really good, nice people working there, order ready fast! I definitely recommend this place.“
“Ate a late brunch here and we really enjoyed it. Such a diverse menu, the food was so flavorful and the ingredients seemed quality. I got the Za'atar roasted cauliflower and loved it -- it was perfectly cooked. We also got chimichurri skewers as an appetizer which were also great! I was surprised how quiet it was, although it is probably more popular in the evening. This place deserves more traffic!“
“Delicious food, very friendly and lovely staff. Beautifully decorated shop If you come during the day, you can take photos in a warm corner. But if you come in the evening, the photography angle will look different and beautiful in another way.“
“Really beautiful space with lovely food and great service. I was expecting a bit more from the food tbh for the price (not sure what though because I have no real complaint but it wasn't spectacular other than the mixed fritter appetizer which was the best tempura I've ever had). All in all 4.5 stars.“
“I love the concept and advocating for plant-based food. I like the self ordering system and the seating arrangement. Sadly, the buger that I ordered was missing the green leaf lettuce and had a tiny touch of mayo and just a tiny piece of pickle. My guess is that the kitchen ran out of ingredients. I did not bother asking for an explanation. I felt that the staff was also exhausted and not in a good mood. Hopefully, it will be a better experience next time.“
“I've been several times and it's consistently really delicious! The sushi is pretty cool with very realistic vegan salmon and tuna, but in my opinion the rest of their menu is even better. There's a big variety of other delicious things (fried "chicken" bao, dumplings, noodles...). The ube cheesecake is really good too - it doesn't taste exactly like a normal cheesecake but is just a tasty dessert in its own right. All the dishes come out really quickly.“
“I love coming here ! The food & pastries are sooo delicious, and the service is great! Definitely 10/10Vegetarian options: This is a vegan bakery.Kid-friendliness: Very sweet and patient with my daughter while she decided on what she wanted“
“Fabulous! You could spend so much money in here and never feel unhappy about it. Totally vegan it's actually quite large with lots of places to sit and just plants everywhere. if I had more money, I would buy myself every single plant and item they have here. lovely food, lovely staff, highly recommend! please support your neighborhood, vegan place.“
“My wife and I are happy to have a Spanish vegan spot to order from in the Heights again! We ordered two Chimi's, a plantain power sandwich, Mac n Cheese, and Mac n Cheese empanadas with "beef". For the whole experience, we give it a 9.5 out of 10. The only gripe we really had was the Mac n Cheese empanada--she wasn't overly fond of it, I thought it was ok. We will be ordering/dining in again!“
“The food is sooo good?, if you want some burgers and fries pls skip the other fast food places and go to Jerrell’s, it tastes better and is better for you! The vibe is so fun in there and the employees are so sweet and friendly, especially Zierra!!“
“The food here is delicious! So much so that it was all I could think about hours after leaving the restaurant (no joke)! One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. Staff members are very kind and attentive. I recommend the tomato soup and the bulgogi tacos!“
“Such an amazing environment with great vegan food. I haven't had much vegan food but, if it tastes as amazing as the Warrior Sandwich I just had here! Definitely one of the best sandwiches I've had in my life. I'm on board. Phenomenal food, great atmosphere, live music and DJs! This place is indeed special! I will be back here.“
“Joey No Nuts has been a longtime favorite of mine, as someone who was often concerned about the presence of nuts in coffee or other products from other bakeries, Joey No Nuts was a huge relief to find. Not only do they pride themselves on their allergy safe offerings, their service, food quality, and community involvement is unmatched in Hoboken. If you want Actually good coffee that is free from nut allergens, I cannot recommend this cafe more.Dietary restrictions: Joey No Nuts is nut-free, thus the absolutely excellent name of the cafe. They are happy to provide an unmatched quality of nut free offerings at their inviting cafe.“
“This place is as good as it gets when it comes to whole food plant-based fare! It has an attractive decor, a friendly staff who you order from at the counter, and really good food. I’ve tried the UWS and UES locations and both are consistently very good. Unlike most vegan restaurants, that offer a wide variety of highly processed fake meat, Le Botaniste is all about whole foods – vegetables, grains, beans, with various dishes to suit of a variety of tastes. And everything is freshly made and ready to go, so there’s no waiting.“
“I ate the Tropicana salad and the soup of the day, Turkish chili, to-go.Türkiye chili soup has a lot of ingredients, so a small size is enough. Before closing the lid, I asked if I wanted to sprinkle some cheese on it, so I added it and it was salty and delicious.Tropicana salad, as the name suggests, contains mango and orange. The sauce is made with grated fruit like Isaac Toast, but it doesn't get too salty even if you add a lot, so just leave it as the young clerk puts it on.It's easy to add a lot of shrimp and peel the abogado before closing the lid and mix it well. They ask if I want to add pita bread, but there is no additional charge, so you can do whatever you like. The prices in Seoul were so crazy that I was thankful that they gave me this much for 25,000 won.Recommended“
“Stopping in for super late Brunch on Easter, brunch ends at 4 and I slipped in at 3:50 ?. The server that started me off was so nice to get something in for me right under the wire. The Florentine Tofu was super yummy. A steamed cider to drink as a nice treat and finished with the cheesecake of the day. The mixed berry cheesecake was surprising as I thought the berries would be an add on but to see a line of berries along the slice was amazing ?.Will visit again when in the city and come for dinner as well as brunch.“
“Coming to this juice press actually makes my day every day. Gregory (who I believe is the manager) is the kindest man and provides such great service. I love juice press for its great selection of healthy food, but even more so for the hospitality coming from Gregory and the staff at this location. They are always smiling, helpful, and pleasant. I never want to get lunch anywhere else! I have sampled some off the menu flavors (chocolate mousse, peanut butter and jelly that are SO GOOD I hope they become actual menu items). It just really makes a difference grabbing lunch a few times a week and knowing you will come in to a warm welcome and positive atmosphere rather than other places where you are barely even greeted and trying to get you in and out as quick as possible. Love the staff, love the service, love the food!Dietary restrictions: Only place I have ever found that has organic, no added sugar, gluten free, and dairy free options. Very very good selection for strict, clean diets.“
“As soon as I heard about this place I knew I had to try it. The concept is incredibly simple- I'm not entirely clear on how they are using AI and robotics to make everything happen- but you place an order online, you get a notification when it will be ready, and then the notification directs you to a little cubby/locker where you pick your food up. This place has limited hours and is geared towards to go orders (there's a bar to stand and eat at, but no seating, no restroom either) and is also clearly for the office lunch crowd. It's great vegan food though for those who want something to bring back with them or just for a quick bite. I had the crispy chicken burger and it was excellent, definitely some of the best vegan fast food I have had in a long time. I wish the burger was customizable (I don't like pickles for example) but things you don't like are easy enough to remove. I also wish the menu had a description of what was in each meal although most of it is pretty basic and self explanatory. There was someone there who was present for ordering issues, explaining what's in the different options, and just to make sure everything was going as it should. Despite a few things that could be tweaked overall I think this place is a great concept and I hope it lasts and they can open more.“
“They have the most authentic Korean japchae and kimchi I’ve ever had :) totally reminds me the good old times :) and most importantly everything is vegan :) I was shocking that I haven’t been here in a while the Malaysian manager move back “
“Late night dinner at Ramen Spot. All tasted great and comforting. Roasted edamame is very fresh and special, it’s also perfectly seasoned with just right amount of salt. Spicy miso ramen is always my go-to for ramen and it didn’t disappoint me! Not too spicy.“
“Out of 15 highly-rated places I went to in New York, my boyfriend and I agreed this was 1 of only 2 worthy of 5 stars. Nachos were delicious, with the perfect amount of toppings. Alcohol drinks (blackberry cooler & grapefruit y tequila) were excellent. Friendly staff.“
“Dropped by Beyond Sushi in NYC for a lunchtime adventure, ready to dive into their plant-based menu. Here’s the scoop:The "Mighty Mushroom" roll left me wanting more—more filling, less rice. The hefty amount of rice kind of muscled out the flavors of the mushrooms and ginger, tilting towards the dry side.On a brighter note, the Shiitake Dumplings didn’t disappoint. They packed enough punch to stand out, proving that good things do come in small packages.Presentation-wise, Beyond Sushi nails it. It's easy to see why it’s dubbed an Instagram haven. Each dish is a visual feast, making you pause for a snap before you eat. But, while the aesthetics had me at hello, I was hoping the flavors would sweep me off my feet, especially considering the price tag.Space inside is a bit of a squeeze, even by New York City standards. My tip? Sidestep the lunch rush or any peak time if you're after a more relaxed vibe to enjoy your meal. All in, it wasn’t half bad. The experience had its highs and lows, but I’m open to giving Beyond Sushi another whirl down the road.“
“I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Happy Vegan's catering service during the grand opening of my business, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. As someone who has sampled nearly everything on their menu and loved each dish, I knew I was in for a treat. The catering team at Happy Vegan exceeded all expectations, delivering a spread that left everyone in attendance smiling from ear to ear. Every bite was bursting with flavor and made with evident care and attention to detail. It was clear that they were committed to ensuring that every guest had a delightful culinary experience.Happy Vegan's dedication to spreading happiness through their food shone brightly during my event. From the moment the first dish was served until the last guest left, the atmosphere was filled with joy and satisfaction. It's no wonder they're called Happy Vegan - their ability to bring smiles to people's faces through their delicious offerings is truly remarkable. I wholeheartedly recommend Happy Vegan not only for dining in but also for catering services. Whether you're planning a business event, a celebration, or any gathering where food plays a central role, Happy Vegan will undoubtedly elevate the experience for everyone involved. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.“
“Had the utmost amazing experience at Veganhood , thank you for accommodating my family , we had a party of 7 and they made room for us right away , to say the food exceeded my expectations would be an understatement, the space was well lit and nicely decorated which made it even more enjoyable , we cant wait to go back again ?“
“Best vegan food in NJ. Extensive Chinese menu and also other Asian cuisines. Just very well done, clean food. The restaurant itself is just very clean and simple nothing fancy. Food is outstanding.Vegetarian options: All vegan Chinese food and other Asian cuisine offerings.Dietary restrictions: All vegan“
“I tried takeout from Lovin' Today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never tried vegan chorizo before, so I was kind of worried about whether I'd like it or not. It actually still had the same kind of spice of regular chorizo. To be honest, I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference between this vegan chorizo and regular chorizo. And they gave a lot of it in the taco as well, so I was happy with that. I also got brown rice as a side. It was a hearty portion size of rice. I got vegan naan bread, which tasted delicious and exactly like regular naan bread. I also loved that they sealed the boxes with tape with a drawn heart on it. It's a small detail, but it shows there was care put into putting my meal together. Overall, i was happy with my meal, and I would definitely order from them again.“
“Honestly the best vegan food I’ve ever had. And I’ve had A LOT of vegan food in New Orleans, New York City and Los Angeles. It’s so delicious. Made to order, ridiculously fresh. I am addicted to the Crunchwrap. I would order it every night if I could! You won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: It’s all vegan, healthy, insanely tasty.“
“Really great vegetarian and vegan food! No matter whether pancakes, bao buns or anything else, it tastes great. Important: it is a take away without seating. But there are small “parcs” with seating a block up the street. The staff are also very friendly and nice!“
“The food was very pleasing and had a really nice base. The base was tangy, sweet, sour and savory. The toppings were filling up the top and very nicely placed. Also they're mini size was perfect and small but filling. The service was very well and the workers did not take that long. I would say we waiting less than a minute for the acai bowl to be ready! Also, I had really enjoyed the music playlist, and had a nice interaction about music with the worker. The atmosphere was very nice, they're were nice, bright colors, a comfy couch and clear menus. In addition, they were very considerate and added a charging station, even though i did not use it, it seemed very nice. Love this place and I ordered the Purple Rain. My first time and this place made a really nice impression on me.“
“Goodsugar is a very unique juice and smoothie store that prides itself on being organic, kosher and pure! Their soups, which are indeed delicious are made dairy free without any preservatives. My favorite is their Egyptian Red Lentil Soup. They make plant based foods that are unique and delicious . I have also enjoyed their very wholesome bakery products!“
“I know what you’re thinking. You’re reading these reviews & thinking, “Watermelon nigiri? Really? How good can that be?”So. Good.Their menu (at least when we went in Mar 2024) is so thoughtful, so good… my girlfriend eats fish and describes the experience: you’re not missing anything from fish sushi when you go here. And the service was delightful.Skip Dirt Candy. Go here.“
“SO GOOD AND DELICIOUS ? I’m so glad to have met fellow Montclair State University alum Andrew Barley who told me about his restaurant. I said I would come try it out and I’m not the least bit disappointed and neither will you be anything but fully satisfied. I can’t wait to come back and try more things on the menu which means I will be back A WHOLE LOT! Whether you are vegan/vegetarian or just love good food look no further for THE BEST Caribbean and flavorful dishes in Essex County, New Jersey?️??—————Sidebar?Be prepared for possible parking delays depending on what day/time you decide to come✅And so nice to have met Tessa and Mama Barley???“
“Their hummus is beyond amazing. The taste of creaminess at the end. How they make it I have no idea. Now I’m in trouble I need get these! So recommend to anyone. Make sure you get falafel and eat it within, the best way to have your falafel. It’s crispy so good. It’s better than any places I ever tried. Highly recommendedVegetarian options: So many options. Just order it if your debating. One of the best. Better than any famous place“
“A coworker gifted me a box of vegan cupcakes and vegan cake truffles for my bday. They were sooo good! The best cake/frosting I’ve had in my life. I recommend the lemon lavender cupcake and the red velvet cake truffle. Will definitely take a trip from the city to visit.“
“This been my caribe go-to spot for few years now. Try the smoothies I promise you wont want other smoothies after trying. The food is off da hook! I love they vegan cake, stress juice, cassava pone pudding omg!curry chick peas the kale patties trust me you wont go nowhere else!“
“Came here for their Madison Square drink which sounds amazing, only to realize they rarely make anything fresh and made-to-order. They bottle the drinks in the front, and if they run out, you're out of luck - which is what happened with the Madison Square. Not a fan of not having a juice freshly made. Got the new green smoothie which was good, but a bit too heavy on the lemon. If I'm back in the area, would come back for that Madison Square.“
“I discovered Bon Koko Ice accidentally when my sister's friend gifted us a blueberry loaf. I couldn't believe it was vegan!!! This has to be the most delicious vegan loaf I have ever eaten in my entire life. It is light, moist, and packed with fresh blueberry and lemon flavor. Their ice cream is pretty damn delicious too although I only sampled it. This place is definitely a must-try and a welcome addition to the neighborhood.“
“A very special place of warmth and true Jamaican hospitality in NYC. I have hosted several events here (3 cooking classes for students and a special pre-wedding fun "game night" party) and everyone loves generous-hearted Chef Mom, the delicious food she prepares and the wide open welcoming space. What a treat to have this gem in the middle of the city.“
“Me and my crew been coming here for a while . Food is good. Greens are all fresh , But what makes us come back is Maouloud , this gentleman has positive energy all the time and adds vibrance to the store, makes your ordinary salad not boring and had best suggestions.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at &pizza , and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, with a beautiful view of the Famous RT.17!!!The standout of my visit was the impeccable service provided by Damire, one of the restaurant’s employees. Damire’s attention to detail and genuine care for my dining experience truly made my visit memorable. He was knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of my meal was perfect. His friendly demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond for his guests truly set him apart. The food at &pizza was equally impressive. Each pie was expertly prepared, showcasing fresh and high-quality ingredients. I recommend “The Outlaw”. The flavors were exquisite, and it was evident that the individual making these pies took great pride in their craft.Overall, my experience at &pizza exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of exceptional service from employees like Damire and outstanding culinary offerings makes this establishment a standout in the dining industry.Bartholomew Pierson“
“Great food and cute dining area, our server with the tattoos was sweet and attentive. When my friend didn’t like a certain dish they had no problem swapping it out with another noodle dish they recomendad and it was DELICIOUS. Great place and would recommend to all my vegan friends and family <3“
“Had a great dinner experience and our waiter, Chris (Christian) was excellent! Made the dinner experience a very enjoyable time. He was knowledgeable about the menu and even went to ask the chef about ingredients that were in our food! Everything was fabulous. Will come back again and again.“
