“A simple local Turkish bakery. We along with couple other customers were given delicious cookie sample without asking. It has the hospitality feel reminisced of the good old bakery from childhood. Very reasonable prices. Variety is limited to several types of baklava, cookies and some breads as it’s a small place.“

“I was back in my hometown for a short trip and wanted to work remote from a cafe. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“

“Came to Sander's to get some kosher baked goods for my coworkers. I really wanted to get some donuts, but it was too early in the morning, and they were still baking them. Ended up getting some rugelach that were fresh from the oven. The rugelach were a hit in the office. The staff really liked them. My coworker who was kosher really liked them too. A bunch of people just kept eating them throughout the day. The rugelach were delicious. The chocolate was good. The pastry wasn't too sweet. The vanilla ones were great too, but I really liked the chocolate ones the best. They have a dress code that they post in front of the store before you go in. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes, cover your knees, and shoulders. It shouldn't be a problem in the winter though. If you want some good baked goods, Sander's is a great option. If you're like me and wanting to pick up some kosher pastries, I would check which certification your friend/coworker accept as there are many they may or may not eat.“

“***4 1/2 stars**I'm not sure how crazy I am about this place being a few blocks from where I live, but I suppose that's not Mo & Jay's fault. I've been aware of this bakery/pastry establishment for a few years (I think it showed up in this relatively new apartment building on Main Street two or three years ago), but hadn't actually thought to go inside until yesterday morning. I was entrusted with obtaining a dessert for a weekend BBQ, and it occurred to me that this was at least the easiest spot to quickly grab something. The fact that the desserts were extremely good ended up being a pleasant accident/bonus.I brought one of my top tier chums to assist with the purchase. From very brief research, it seemed like the eclairs were the big selling point here. I thought it would also be a little wily on my part to get them because I tend to not enjoy eating food that has stuff in it, and figured I'd be unlikely to do anything too naughty with that. That turned out not to be accurate, but I digress. We got the five for $25 éclair deal, and procured a raspberry, a lemon meringue, a nutella, a pistachio and a cookies & cream. Just as we were about to wrap up, I also impulsively grabbed a cheddar/bacon scone, which was humongous and understandably caught my eye.The eclairs were definitely a hit. My personal favorite was the cookies & cream. The flavor was incredibly on point, and it was almost like a meta ice cream experience. The only issue with that one specifically was that the cream inside was runnier than the other pastries, which made it a little messy. Not a huge deal. The runner-up was probably the raspberry for me. Again, extremely flavorful, almost to a fault - it was overwhelmingly tart, which is obviously kind of a calling card for raspberries but if you're not into that, I'd stay away. The nutella was actually a little on the bland side for me but not bad. The lemon meringue was a big hit for everyone else, but I'm not a huge fan of that flavor to begin with - I don't think that's a mark against this place by any means. In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have gotten the pistachio, but none of us are hardcore pistachio fans. The cream consistency and dough for all of these was very high quality, and understandably a lot of this is going to come down to how you feel about specific flavors.In a final twist later on, I sampled the scone around dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised - the scone was very moist and tasty, and was reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, though probably at least twice the size and with actual pieces of bacon in it. Very strong recommend on that front.The service was very good. We had a pleasant female cashier assisting us as my chum was literally squatting on the ground eagerly peering into the display case squealing out flavors to get. Zero issues there, and we were in and out within a few minutes uneventfully. There were also a lot of cakes and other types of pastries, so I expect I'll be returning shortly to obtain their assistance with another BBQ.“

They provided the desserts for multiple different events (retirement party, bachelorette party, bridal shower) and knocked it out of the park each time. The attention to detail and their ability to bring my vision to life is out of this world!!! And even more importantly, everything they make is delicious!!! Although, I believe that Balthazar Bakery is well deserving of such rating.I have been coming here since the end of 2018 or beginning 2019, and their pastries are delightful.So much so that I'd say they are my favorite Bakery in North Jersey - AS OF NOW - as I have not found anyone else that compares.This is where I was introduced to the Canélé (try it if you like custard) & the Kouign Amman (the offspring of a croissant & a caramel donut).And as of late, I have been indulging in their Passionfruit and Mango tart (despite the price, keeps reeling me back in) which is quite excellent.I don't do tarts, but this is an exception.But don't take my word for it, try it for yourself and decide!FAIR WARNING - There's often a line during the weekend, but it does move. “Stumbled upon this little restaurant several months ago from a yelp search of restaurants local to me. Since our first time dining in, have already dined in four more time and ordered take out several more. We have tried the adjaruli khachapuri (bread boat with egg and cheese), imeruli (cheese pie), lamb lula kebab, mushroom dish, eggplant, and the lamb khinkali (soup dumplings). We were not fans of the eggplant dish and the mushroom dish was good but nothing special. But OH. MAN. the lamb khinkali, lula kebab and the adjruli were absolutely mouth watering delicious. The restaurant is on the smaller end, simple, and service can get a little slow like many small european restaurants. We ordered the lamb stew on our first visit but never received it. We were too stuffed from the other dishes anyway so they just removed it from the tab. Another patron was having it out with one of the workers (maybe the owner actually?) complaining that she was waiting over 30 minutes for her order and there was also a patron who definitely over served himself and was intoxicated and smoking. So definitely not a fancy place, but man the food is definitely worth it.“

“My friend and I walked in to Two Ladies right before they were closing for the day. (Hit traffic on the way there after work) The bakery is clean and modern. The woman that was working there was very friendly. Based on our late arrival, they were out of trubicky but we purchased a wide range of other delicious items. The chocolate covered cream puff can't be beat, it's one of the best cream fillings we've had in a dessert. The mosaic and brownie sandwich were also excellent. The servers were kind and friendly and you could tell the barista was passionate about the art of coffee. The food and drinks were great: * Matcha Yuzu - 10/10 - The matcha flavor is not strong and earthy, so it's perfect for non matcha lovers. The yuzu syrup adds a nice brightness of flavor, and the addition of the sparkling water makes the drink extra refreshing. I saw the barista hand whip the matcha too. * Cortado - 8/10 - I'm not a coffee drinker, so take this review with a grain of salt. This drink is pretty strong since it's equal parts espresso and milk, but I liked the flavor of the beans. * Chocolate Croissant - 8.5/10 - The pastry was buttery, flakey and light. I wish there was a bit more chocolate tho because only 1/3 of the bites had chocolate. Overall, I would definitely come again for the vibes and food. I want to try their hot food options next time.“

My husband is not gluten free nor super sugar conscious and also loves everything from here!A few things that would make this place better to consider: being closed Sunday and Monday is tough if that was mid week it would make my purchases probably 2x in frequency, can you sell mini sized cookies or cookies in 12 packs? I came to Kloster in early September last year and my sister recommended the iced latte, so I bought it with a canelé.The cannelé is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.I need to visit again next time and try other breads.“
