“We went for Grandma's Birthday and it was wonderful. Qiyung was our Hibachi chef and he was so happy and personable. Qiyung fussed over the birthday girl and He made everything to our liking!!! “The sushi here is delicious! The fried rolls are one of the best I’ve had. We got the American Dream Roll, Summer Roll, and Middlesex Roll. All were so good and fresh. The presentation on the plates were so cute too! This is definitely our new sushi spot.“

“Had a party of 20 come for my birthday! Had originally mistakenly called them instead of the restaurant I was trying to book, but once I saw the reviews I figured i'd give it a try. Could not have been happier with my experience. Staff was lovely and accomodating when I asked the bill to be split in advance, the food was awesome and they even brought out a speaker with happy birthday music once they found out! They had even separated us off from the restaurant with a set of screens so it was semi-private, which was lovely. My friend was also able to get them to store the ice cream cake for us so it wouldn't melt. Really a lovely time, couldn't recommend it more. Prices were pretty typical of a good sushi/hibachi place but with way better atmosphere than other locations i'd been to in TR/Brick. I will be going again!“

“Food always good here. Lettuce wraps are my favorite app but just wished they came with a sauce to dip in! We also thoroughly enjoy the pineapple fried rice with chicken( can be eaten as an entree too) Sushi selection is top notch and entrees are always great, good portions. The Brick location is consistently better than the Toms River location. If you have never had it, try the mango sticky rice for dessert. It’s different, not super sweet but still satisfying after the great meal Koi provides! :)“
“Went here to eat yesterday with family. Although the outside was in need of work I give this place 5 stars. The food was good, the service was good and the cook was awesome. Not crowed at all and the inside was the just like any other Hibachi! We enjoyed ourselves !“
“This was our second time ordering from this place. The first time we picked up the order and the order was a little over $150. The second time we had delivery for a $300 order. We had guests in from out of town the second time. The first time, the food was amazing but the second time was even better than the first time. We ordered a little from each category on the menu. You would think for such a big menu there would be inconsistencies and you’ll be wrong. For delivery they came within the time frame stated when ordering the food. The delivery driver was friendly and helpful. The food was super fresh and still hot almost as if we were eating it in the restaurant. The portion sizes are generous and not just thrown in the container; good presentation of the food in the container. I do t think it’s possibility to have any disappointment in the food, we haven’t had a dish we didn’t like yet. The flavor and spices that are used are amazing where most competitors veer away. I highly recommend people who are interested in Asian fusion cuisines to try this place out - you won’t be disappointed. Great job Kumo, keep up the great work and tasty dishes.“
“We moved to Seaside Park from NY about 18 months ago and after eating at a few places I had effectively given up on eating sushi down here at all. Just being turned off by the local offering, for a while I passed over even trying Hoshino until last night.Let me just start by saying this is the best sushi in the area, and it's not even close!It's very authentic, with focus on quality of ingredients. People who complain about the portion size/price have no idea what authentic sushi is, and should stay in their lane. If you want big floppy pieces of lower grade sashimi, Xina is right over the bridge.While waiting for our meal, we overheard a gentleman at the table next to us say this is very good sushi, that it reminds him of NYC. He isn't wrong. I have extensive experience eating at sushi restaurants in the city and Japan, and this is as close as it gets.While I had sushi my girlfriend had the beef negimaki, and it was also very good. Bonus points for putting Toro on the menu and actually having it. Too many sushi restaurants say they have Toro but then never do.If we had one complaint, it would be the wait time. It seems they only had one server and so things moved a bit slowly. However, Bill, our server, was very nice and polite despite having to run around and serve several tables at once.Moving forward there is no doubt we will be eating here frequently.“
“My family and family friends (who live in the area) love ordering sushi from Nagoya Sushi & Hibachi. We personally prefer ordering the sushi and sashimi platters (e.g - tiger roll, dragon roll, etc. are all great) and our orders are always presented very well for take-out. The staff are also very nice. They also have bubble tea! I like the milk tea with no bubble tea.“

“First time here. We planned to play golf and get ice cream in the area, so we searched for a restaurant to try. I had the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. My dining partner had the basil fried rice with chicken. Both dishes were good. The staff were very attentive.“
“The food here can be a bit 50/50. I like the shrimp tempura roll but they make them bigger but shorter so instead of 8 regular sized pieces, they give you 6 bigger pieces. It can be hard eat in one bite and falls apart easily when dipping. It's not that big of a deal because it tastes good. The miso is a bit salty? Im not sure if they use alot of a stock or something but It's a bit heavy. The pork katsu is very tough to eat and the breading is bland. The scallion pancake was yummy , though a bit oily. The gyozas tasted wonderful. Especially the vegetable gyoza! The outside was crispy but chewy and the sauce was light and vinegary.“

“Homemade hot mustard sauce and free freshly fried wonton strips (as opposed to machine made, stale ones, you know what I mean) with sauce sets this place apart from others.Superior egg drop and hot&sour soup. None can compete in area of point pleasant and brick.Fried/Steamed dumplings are not wrapped in the chewy thick dough that you commonly find in other Chinese restaurants. It's worth every bite.The crab rangoon is cream cheese wrapped in a pastry dough that is amazing.The boneless beef ribs are tender and yummy. The cold noodles with sesame sauce is amazingly addictive. The shrimp toast is by far their best appetizer. You will not find a more scrumptious piece of toast.When they say prawns, you will not get the tiny shrimps, these are huge. Worth every penny.By far the best Chinese restaurant in Point Pleasant and Brick. For those who complain about their coupons, they used to honor them when it was on their menu. I never had a problem.“

“This is a case where I wish the rating system wasn't limited to 5 stars.The food was incredible and reminded my father of his time in Japan, the flavors were cohesive and not overwhelming and the prices were on par if not better than other establishments in the state.The servers were incredibly nice, even made some small conversation as well when it wasn't busy.The atmosphere inside was very simple but quite relaxing, the lighting was easy on the eyes and was plenty to see the amazing food presentation and have a good conversation with my dad.Overall, this is a restaurant I plan on coming to regularly. If I could give this place a 6/5 I'd do it in a heartbeat.“
