“Overall our brunch was very good with a couple of minor issues. The banquettes need cleaning, the juices in the cocktails weren't shaken thus making the drinks watery and not full flavored. I sent mine back and the waiter brought me another quickly. The food was good. We will come back for dinner in the future.“

“We were treated to a very varied drink experience. The different drinks on the menu helped us sample drinks according to what we were interested in. “Waited a long time to get service at the bar even though there were only 5 people in the entire place. One of the bartenders was focused on prepping and the other chatting. The portions are really small. I get that they are tapas but REALLY small for the price. Great atmosphere and wonderful wine selection. If they can figure out food that fits their theme and is reasonably priced this could easily become my go to place.“

“Small and absolutely perfect. Make reservations! Also open for lunch on some days and there is a sushi bar available. The sushi is unique in that each piece is individually wrapped in sustainable plastic so the nori retains its crunchiness. Have you ever noticed that nori on typical sushi is soggy? I didn't either, until I tried the crunchy nori at Nami Nori. So good! The whole table was raving about it. We had a business lunch here with 6 guests from NYC and LA. Everyone thought it was spectacular. It was a wonderful way to show off the amazing restaurant scene in Montclair. Beautiful minimalist space. Pretty expensive so date night or special occassion appropriate. Will be back!Vegetarian options: They are good about veg options. “This unassuming little spot is a slice of miami hospitality smacked in NJ. The drinks are well balanced, the food is awesome, the service is attentive and kind. Go for happy hour, try the drinks with tajin on the rim and grab some croquetas. The ropa vieja empanada is SPECTACULAR. Everything seems made with love. I do want them to bring back the cheeseboard though.“

“We took the grand kids. It's their favorite restaurant. Great kids menu. For the adults, even without kids, it's great. We live out of town and when we visit family in NJ it's always in the list. Drinks are excellent. Wine list good. Apps, entrees and specials are always well prepared and and satisfying. The chefs do a great job here as do the servers and runners. I was delightfully surprised when the cook on my burger was exactly what I asked for (medium), but it wasn't perfect because the burger was bland. The fries were absolutely amazing though! Was a little disappointed by the Fried Calamari and Zucchini shared plate. The taste was on point but not enough calamari and too much zucchini. Wish they just served the fried calamari alone. “Phenomenal , had the pleasure of dining at Moe’s bistro , went to dinner with my wife and a few friends , and front start to finish had an outstanding experience .Our server David really made our night flawless , he was attentive and pleasant as could be . “There was a cover which we had no problem paying. However, before going in since it was within an hour of closing the kitchen I asked: is the kitchen still open? He stated yes because I advised we wanted drinks and food. We go in they take our orders and come back out saying they ran out of chicken so they closed the kitchen. So now no I don't want any drinks you can cancel those too. Otherwise fried chicken/shrimp is 10/10, drinks 7/10, mama sauce 10/10, and DJ 10/10.“

As a local, Archer is my go to for romantic winter nights by the faux fire, girls night summer reunions outside, just anything. Super fresh moist and SUPER DELICIOUS! Every guests commented about the spectacular presentation…simple yet elegant carrying our live orchid theme with LIFELIKE piped orchid petals cascading down each layer! What a joy to have such an unforgettable and memorable experience of knowing our family and friends will remember our wedding cake as much as we will! We had the choice of several bakeries but must end by telling this story…we had checked out a couple of bakeries but after a final wedding gown fitting we decided to visit Calandras. Unannounced we asked to see the person who could help us with our wedding cake. Calandra’s is an incredible “complex” and was extremely busy place but we were directed to Aisha Maliki. Aisha dropped everything presented us with an exquisite tray of every wedding cake option in bite size proportions all fresh and delicious. She gave us coffee and tea and gave us time to talk amongst ourselves in a relaxed atmosphere until our decision was unanimous! She then proceeded to take us through the endless design options available and helped us tweak every little detail until alas our vision for the PERFECT wedding cake had come to life! Mind you we did this unannounced but Aisha couldn’t have been more cordial personable professional and most of all friendly! We left SO elated to leave having one of the most important wedding checkboxes checked and feeling we just had welcomed a new family member into the fold! Based on our incredible experience with Aisha and Calandra’s your choice for YOUR wedding cake and pastries should be Calandra’s! You will definitely not be sorry!“
