“I LOVE the Ritz. It's the classic diner, I go there all the time for their customized omelettes and homefries. They also have the best corned beef hash I have ever had and massive delicious pancakes. The portions are huge and the food is always delicious. The waiters and waitresses are always the nicest and in the 15 years I've been going there we have never had bad service. No matter how crowded, The Ritz service is always super fast. It is the classic Jersey diner vibe, if you're an out of towner looking for an authentic Jersey diner experience, this is definitely the place for you!“

“Caldwell Diner is a solid pick for diners in the area. It has a cute interior. Service is always good here. I've been here a few times for breakfast and dinner and it never disappoints. Most recently I was craving disco fries and tried Caldwell Diner for them and they did not disappoint. We also got the Cheesecake which was mind blowing. The waitress said they make the cheesecake onsite. Anyway, it was a cheesecake even the Golden Girls would die over. Other times, I've gotten one of their salads and still haven't forgotten about it. This is a gem of a spot.“

When it was time to pay the check, I noticed their new pay system had already added a 15% tip to the bill. I think tipping should ALWAYS be the discretion of the patron. Because my server was great, I didn't have a problem paying the 15%. I wonder if her tip is shared. FYI, you can change the tip amount at the register, but ya'll need to pay attention.Food at this diner is always yummy. The staff is great and at my visit they were on top of everything. “I'm rating this place based on their breakfast food. It was exactly what I expected and wanted. They were quick to seat and take our order. And the food was also quick and precise. I went on a sunday noon and it was completely packed. They are a small place that give a retro feel to it. And the ladies working it also give it a home-ish feel. I liked it! The omelets and pancakes were real good and i had no complaints. I guess the only slight dislike i had were the potatoes,as they were a bit burnt as you can see on the picture. They have a bar you can seat yourself if there is a spot and parking is a nightmare but they do have overflow parking a short walk away. My daughter has had the cheese blintzes and I've had the Arepa Benedict and the Godfather omelet. Everything is always delicious. “We visited The West Essex Diner on a bustling Sunday morning, arriving around noon. Despite the crowd, we were seated within a brief 10-minute wait, which was understandable given the rush. However, the dining experience left much to be desired. I ordered a classic breakfast featuring sunny-side-up eggs with a side of steak and home fries, accompanied by toast and coffee. My friend opted for a western omelet paired with French toast. Disappointingly, the French toast lacked powdered sugar, and despite requesting jelly, our waiter seemed to disappear.The food, unfortunately, was rather lackluster, lacking any distinctive flavor or appeal. While the service was initially prompt, our waiter was notably absent after serving our meals, only reappearing when we requested the check. It was then that he offered more coffee, but by that point, I was already ready to leave. Overall, the experience felt ordinary, and the food failed to surpass what I could have easily prepared at home with more flavor.“

What we would go back for is the meatloaf sandwich and French onion soup. Both were excellent!!! We would also back because of the service, our waiter was Andrew. He was very friendly and took our whole order without writing it down! We have a three year old, we asked if he had a paper plate for him to eat from, they did not but he came back with two other options for us to choose from. As a parent I very much appreciated that. I ordered the eggs Benedict -- the avocado option, which was a healthier alternative than the regular one with muffin. -- it had so much delicious hollandaise sauce. My partner ordered the Hillery Street house special from the breakfast platter menu, which has two large pancakes, eggs, and bacon strips. We also ordered (not pictured) hot chocolate with whipped cream and regular coffee with milk--- the milk is served in this cute sealed small glass container. Overall, it is a family-friendly place with great service and tasty brunch options with sizeable portions. We definitely see ourselves returning to try more of their breakfast menu. Ps: Nicely decorated with an autumn theme not just outside the entrance but all over the restaurant.“

The diner is family owned and the family is always there. It's a Summit staple and hopefully will continue to stay for many more years. And, oh yes, you can purchase liter bottles of imported Greek olive oil made by the owner's brother back in Greece. I only buy my virgin oil there. Two bottles at a time. You can return to refill your bottle (s) as needed.“

“Nevada Diner has been around for generations. The breakfast is great like most diners. I tried the chicken parm sandwich wih garlic bread and it was actually delicious! The bread was so soft and buttery and the chicken tastes great! Would definitely buy again. The loaded fries were good too. “I discovered Montclair Diner through DoorDash and I have ordered from here many times and I am very satisfied with the quality of all the items relative to the price. DoorDash pricing is getting out of control and Montclair Diner is one of the few spots that still have reasonable prices and good quality. I usually order breakfast like pancakes, omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee and I have been happy with the orders.
