I compare the menu, pricing and food to Mr & Mrs Crab located throughout Tampa Bay, Florida. The differences are here you bring your own liquor (byob) and the atmosphere, specifically the music. They had a live DJ. He played hits from the 90s-early 2000s. It felt like everybody was singing to it. He even played some reggae. Between patrons creating a dance floor and dancing to the moving party line, this restaurant was jumping! It was exciting to watch. If you're looking for quiet dining, you're in the wrong place. To me and my party of 6, this wasn't just a tasty dinner, it was a DINING EXPERIENCE! It's a MUST SEE kind of place.“

Today I had The Fish with fries. Fried to perfection just the way it's supposed to be. They don't season the fish to death. Very consistent in quality each and every time you order. People drive from all over. I like the old school vibe. It reminds me of the 70s and 80s when we used to go down and get all of these steak n takes and bean pies and fish sandwiches. I got it with the soup, a cup of lobster bisque, very pretty but I didn't capture a photo. I wouldn't get the bisque with a sandwich again because although tasty, it's very creamy, very heavy and it filled me up so I couldn't enjoy my sandwich as much. Next time, I'll combo the beverage. “I've been dying to try this spot! I pass it allll the time on Bergen St. So I finally went and ordered their Whaler Sandwich. The thing was huge! It was on a footlong roll and had at least 4-6 pieces of fish on it. I enjoyed the sandwich very much and split it with my husband. It had a healthy amount of lettuce and tomatoes on it with their special tartar sauce. Their sauce is a little yellow because I believe they put honey mustard in it. If that's not your thing or you're not that adventurous then ask for it on the side. I loved it on mine honestly. The fish was well seasoned and fried. I also ordered an Uptown and it was not too sweet and just right. It comes in a very large cup and only for $2!!! I think I spent altogether $10 or $12. They ONLY TAKE CASH unless you order on Grubhub.“

“For around $100 there is no better place in NJ for a date. Portion sizes are huge, food is delicious, and wait staff is very attentive. They also have a surprisingly good dessert menu. When the place is packed it's really fun and everyone is having a good time. Get the steamed octopus for an appetizer.“
