“I usually don’t goto places like this because I’m from Brooklyn and I dress like a bum. The service was amazing, they didn’t judge my dirty Brooklyn cyclones hat and were very attentive. Second, the food was amazing and loved every bits of it.The appetizers we tried were the tuna tartare, chicken gyro bao buns and saganaki fondue. All were amazing! My main course was the salmon and I can’t describe how good it was because my vocabulary is limited. But anyway, once again the service was amazing. I would recommend this place even to gnarly out of borough people like me!“
“By now of course this place is a NYC Institution like Da Umberto, Raouls and Il Mulino. They run a good program, and the service is always attentive. The drinks come quickly, and notably the mezze are the star, along with the fresh fish. The whole bronzino is excellent. You can also almost aways get a table short notice, so that's nice too. Go with a smile on your face, and you are liable to leave with a bigger one.“

“We had a great time celebrating a birthday at GRECA. The in-house bakery made their amazingly delicious orange olive oil cake into a birthday cake for my daughter. Amazing wand gluten-free! All the dishes were fresh and tasty. The Spreads appetizer had interesting spreads that were devoured. The lamb chops and chicken souvlaki were perfectly cooked. And the orange oil cake was perfection. The staff were absolutely lovely and very friendly.“
“Really excellent Greek place. This is the second time I’ve visited and I’ve been impressed on both occasions by the lovely food. The tuna-salmon carpaccio is gorgeous and so good I regretted having to share it. The ink risotto and the sea bass with gnocchi are both wonderful—the gnocchi is so crispy! And for dessert we had the orange cake, which is packed with citrus flavor. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.“

The food was find overall a little bland for our taste, but the item that stole the show was the grilled octopus. The service was good but very slow. Our reservation started around 6PM and we didn’t get out main courses til 8:15PM. Did have a surprised burlesque show which was so fun!!“

If I come back to Pi Bakerie it will be specifically for the Freddo Cappuccino. I could envision myself deliberately making a detour via SoHo for this Freddo Cappuccino. “We held my wife’s baby shower at this restaurant, and we have ordered from here on multiple occasions. First, the food is phenomenal. From the chicken kebab to the falafel, all of the food is fresh, and seasoned and cooked to perfection.Nora and her team essentially treat the entire restaurant, including patrons, as family. They welcome you with warmth and will work with you to do anything your heart desires, within reason. The lamb meat was GOOD but I got some nasty hard pieces. But, after getting rid of the pieces the gyros were great STUFFED with fries and I Loved it! I would 100% go back but i would personally try the chicken instead. The spanakopita was great and enough to share between two!“

“Nice restaurant close to the F/G station, you can park on the street, and there are buses that go down Smith. The menu is confusing; they have a code for vegetarian options, but that includes fish roe and octopus. If you want to be sure, just ask about the item you're ordering. The lentil soup is a good hearty portion, and the spanakopita is excellent. Lots of filling, well mixed and prepared (I.e. they don't just toss big chunks of feta with frozen spinach and call it a day like some places do). They were out of the beers on the menu but the house wine was fine. It smelled a bit strange in the back but in the front it was fine, so probably not something that happens often. Relatedly? single stall restroom in the back. Fast and friendly service. Pay cash to avoid a 4% surcharge!“

And definitely shouldn't stay at that price for the long term. Hoping prices will come down as food prices begin to improve.“

The tzatziki had this thick almost feta-y taste which worked brilliantly, and the harissa added some nice depth. The soggy French fries inside did not work for me, but I know some people don't mind it. I almost wish there was an option on the food apps to make the fries optional. This wrap was very enjoyable once I took them out. I could see myself order this again.Pita Club Sandwich (4/5)This came with salted and seasoned fries. Those were crispy and delicious - especially after I toasted them in the air fryer again. The club sandwich itself had the same amazingly soft pita, but the combination of the cheese and bacon and chicken yeero together got a tad bit salty. “Googled a breakfast place and this place popped up. Street parking is free before 9:00 a.m. which was nice, atmosphere was classic Mom and Pop diner. Server was friendly and energetic, got our food in less than 5 minutes, everything was perfect. I had the iced tea unsweetened it was very good, my sister had coffee black said it was some of the best coffee she'd ever had. We both got omelets hash browns and a meat side everything was spot on prices were very reasonable probably going back again tomorrow morning before we head back home.“
