“Totally recommended!! As a Galician, I confirm that it is a very good option to drink good beer (Estrella Galicia) accompanied by the best tapas in the city!! And in line with the rest of the comments... I very much agree with the good rating of the gin and tonics!!“
“Excellent experience! Wonderful chuletón with vegetables sides and very enjoyable sangria. Fabian gave us a very warm and caring service as well as Vivian. We loved the atmosphere and the food’s quality is A+!!! We absolutely recommend the Salinas dining experience!“
“My family and I were delighted with the 1A service, Mr. Mauricio was the one who served us today, it should be noted that he is attentive, friendly and very helpful, he kept us informed of the activities they do in the restaurant and in truth he never I had previously gone to a place here in NJ that made us feel at home, thank you Noches de Colombia for such delicious food and especially thanks to Mauricio for such cordial service, may God continue to bless you all, behind a good leader oh a good work team, blessings!!“
“This is some of the best food we've had in NY. Wonderful service and great ambiance. We got blistered shishito peppers, calamari, salmon, red shrimp, and scallops. Finished with the lava cake and the cheesecake. We didn't leave a crumb.“
“Relaxing and delicious restaurant in a cute area in Brooklyn. We wanted to get out of the usual flavors and dishes you see at many restaurants in NY and we accomplished it here. The food was very authentic and delicious, we felt like we were back in Spain. Highly recommend it for a nice weekend dinner.“
“Really good food and aesthetic atmosphere! Loved the nachos and quesadillas it was really fresh and delicious! Jessie was our server and she was very attentive and made sure we are okay at all times. It was my birthday and I really enjoyed celebrating here!“
“One of my favorite restaurants in the city! Their chicken liver mousse is the best, but I love that no matter what I pick from the menus or specials, I know that it’ll be amazing. Staff is also really friendly and accommodating. I’ve been here many times and hope to go back many more!“
“I really wanted to love this place, having heard great reviews from friends. But … I found the food to be lacking in taste (particularly the Gilda and Kroketas) and the presentation was similar to what my mother would have done. Not bad, just average. I read about its Basque heritage but nothing about the restaurant and food really felt Basque to me (and I lived in Spain for a few years, working in the Basque Country). And more importantly, I found the wine to be middling. Nonetheless, my friend and I had a great time and the service was excellent.“
“My friend and I went here for dinner. The place has a great vibe. I saw other people saying that the stuff was either slow or too fast removing plates and so on. We did an experience at. Service was great and the food was excellent. Will definitely be returning when we come back to Newark! For some reason they gave us free appetizer. Garden salad, which was delicious and warm bread with warm olives and olive oil.My friend had the 23 ounce pork chop… Wow!He had a dirty vodka martini, which he said was excellent. And I had the seafood paella valenciana.Which I started with an apéritif of vermouth no ice and a glass of white wine.“
“Excellent tacos. ? This is a usual spot for us and it never disappoints here. The large tacos have guacamole in it and it also comes with an entire grilled green onion. Now, I hate onions. But I have no clue why I’m able to eat it here with the tacos… it’s that good. Opt for the large tacos. The regular size is fine but for just a dollar more you get more bang for the buck, literally. Very low key establishment. It isn’t festive. I don’t believe they serve alcohol either. But the tacos are amazing. And amazingly affordable! As always, better to eat fresh and dine in. Order the Tacos… when the restaurant’s name begins with Tacos, you better order the Tacos ?!!! ????“
“Comida Buenisima... Lo único tienes que pedir los platos iguales como estan en la carta... Eramos 4 y nos cobraron 5 platos... Deberian de cambiar esto no todas las personas pueden comer el plato exacto como lo tienen... ppr un mofongo aparte nos cobraron el plato del mofongo completo...“
“Wow!! Just around the corner from where I live and so glad I stopped in!!! The food is so fresh and well seasoned and flavorful. I had the garlic shrimp, meatballs and half chicken. The meatballs have a little lemon which I've never had and makes them so fresh. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the chicken was tender and bright. So satisfying. Great and friendly service. Can't wait to come back.“
“I stopped in here on the way to the airport during a delay due to the earthquake. I had the bombas, they were the star of the show !!! But they were not hot, luke warm and cold. The pulpio was ok, somone called it the best thing on menu. I hope that is not the case !! The empanadas were too hot lol they took forever to cool down.“
“We had a great dinner at ABC Cocina last night. All the food was delicious including the guac, patatas bravas, fluke crudo, hearts of palm salad and tacos. We also loved the speciality margaritas and the churros for dessert. The meal was a little spendy but at least you get what you pay for unlike many other overpriced restaurants in NYC these days.“
“The food is great and the ambience is great. The greeter seemed to be in the wrong position. Very unfriendly. Not even a smile. Also, we had a guest in our party with a seafood allergy who asked about their handling of this. The response was “I don’t think this is a problem” we had to ask them to confirm.“
“They had recommended me to visit this place on several occasions, they had told me that the food was delicious, I must say that they were not wrong ???Today was the first time I visited it and I must say that I was fascinated with everything, the attention, and service received from Natalia, it was excellent, congratulations beautiful, thank you so much for everything!! Not to mention the food, a delight ???️?10 out of 10…. I highly recommend it ???“
“Flavorful and satisfying! We started with the Callos, which combined a slightly sweet delectable sauce with astoundingly tender chopped tripe (I would liken it to a savory marshmallow, almost). The chorizo and garbanzo played their part serviceably. We followed it with the Uni Palabok. The uni and caviar were very tasty, and it was nice to try quality ingredients. However, the relative intensity of the sauce somewhat drowned out the more delicate flavors of the uni and caviar.(From my wife who grew up eating Palabok, it is *extremely* elevated)Our last entree was the Lengua de Champinon, and it was phenomenal! The tongue was expertly cooked and wonderfully tender, and the creamy mushroom sauce was a great pairing for it.For dessert, they don't have it listed on the menu yet, but they had some Tres Leches cake available. The cake was perfectly saturated with milk sauce while maintaining it's form, and instead of the standard whipped cream, it had meringue on top which was quite interesting! It was a bit pricey, but the menu is online so that's no surprise.“
“My new favorite restaurant! Everything is fresh and filling, you can taste the care and love put into the dishes. The ambiance is comforting and inviting, the kind of place you could sit and eat and drink for hours. The bartenders are very nice. 10/10“
“Walk into Basque country, enjoy wonderful food experiences and atmosphere. A special place- a gem hidden in the Ironbound, where you are transported into a culinary adventure to be shared with family and friends. A formal restaurant and lively soccer bar, enjoy both and La Liga matches surrounded by true aficionados who regular there. After your first visit, there remains a constant call to return and repeat the same, again and again and again..... Enjoy“
“Everything about this restaurant is just lovely--the food, the atmosphere, the service, and the drinks! If you're looking for excellent Spanish seafood in a lively atmosphere with moody lighting, highly recommend Casa Dani. I took a couple clients to dinner and could navigate the food menu just fine but I know almost nothing about Spanish wine. The tall (and handsome) sommelier was so knowledgeable and attentive, it really made the experience a memorable one. Will definitely return!“
“For more than a decade, Socarrat has been our go-to spot in Manhattan, and it feels like visiting an old friend every time we walk through the door. From our first taste in 2010, this charming restaurant has never failed to deliver top-notch quality and hospitality. The cozy ambiance sets the stage for an evening filled with laughter and amazing food. With each visit, we're treated to a delightful journey through Spanish cuisine, with dishes bursting with flavor and love. Whether it's sharing tapas with friends or diving into a paella masterpiece, Socarrat's warmth and deliciousness keep us coming back for more. Cheers to another decade of unforgettable dining experiences at Socarrat!“
“Excellent food! The service was great. We went twice during our trip to NY and the place was packed on both occasions. We were given champagne on the house for being repeat customers, it was a nice suprise. Wonderful atmosphere, highly recommend a visit.“
“It was like dining in a 5 star establishment. I had the surf & turf. The jumbo shrimp.was perfectly cooked and the steak tips unbelievably great. I never had their specialty desert cake. It was an unbelievable experience, so good. The owner Jose was so friendly and made me feel like family. Overall, I highly recommend Chloes. My go to place!“
“I truly, truly love Babs. I've been coming here for a few years specifically for the oysters with the champagne mignonette - it's phenomenal. The ambiance is sophisticated and intimate, great for a small group of friends or a date. It pains me to give them four stars but I have to because of the service - I swear the waitress looked right at my friend and I waiting for a table and hid in the back. There were plenty of tables, so the bartender asked us if we'd like to sit, and then went and asked her to seat us. I felt like everything we asked for bothered her and I couldn't say thank you enough. Maybe it was an off night for her I'm not sure but from other reviews seems to be a theme. Go for the food and the bar! The location is amazing and it's nice to sit outside in warm weather.“
“Wonderful gem of a restaurant. Authentic Spanish food (as far as I could tell!) lovely people helped us celebrate birthdays. Make a reservation for inside seating to see the food being prepared in the open kitchen! Will be back and bring friends!“
“Delicious and authentic Puerto Rican food. The yellow rice is soft and tasty; it is very well made. The pernil is also very well cooked but does lack a bit of seasoning, it still taste good but I think they cook can add a bit more seasoning to it and it will be PERFECT! I always feel like I am back at home whenever I order from Mis Raices.“
“The churros were amazingly good, they greeted us kindly it’s definitely worth checking out not expensive like other places, there’s only one problem and that is there was a line for the valentine special and there were two women who just skipped the line and pretended to have a friend “waiting for them” so be attentive of who’s in front of you other than that 10/10 place!“
“Thank you for the excellent service Meybelin, very attentive and helpful, the food was delicious, the service very excellent, I love this restaurant and that is why I visit it frequently ??? the person who served me was super friendly, he deserves a raise ?“
“While in the city, my partner and I were looking for a lowkey spot to grab a small bite, and cocktail within close proximity to our hotel. This place came up in my Yelp search so we decided to check it out. Once we were seated and able to check out the menu, we opted for meatballs, the pulpo and cocktails. And the chocolate lava cake to finish. The dishes, drink and dessert we had were great. If the few dishes we ordered tasted that great. I can only imagine how great the rest of the menu must be. It's a cozy, dimly lit but inviting spot. And the service was good. I can't wait to return!“
“My dad first put me on this restaurant by its delicious, fresh takeout food. We'd typically order octopus or whole fish. My parents decided to take us out for our birthday and it was not a disappointment. I felt like I was in Portugal without actually traveling there and it's a home away from home from the moment you walk in.Everyone ordered different entrées and each dish offered a unique, top-quality taste. If you're looking for an authentic Portuguese spot in the Hudson County area, Pic-Nic is your go-to!Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian option available on the menu.Parking: About 11 or 12 parking spaces and street parking is very difficult given the area.Kid-friendliness: While there is no kids menu, there are few options available for children.Wheelchair accessibility: Whether parked in the lot or on the street, you can easily access the lot, entrance and seating area with a wheelchair.“
“Today I ordered food for Lunch, super delicious.I recommend the broth, the corviches and the breaded chicken, it's super delicious, the house mayonnaise and spicy sauce is delicious and the portions are very large... it's totally worth it, it takes you back to our country completely.I always order from my Ubereats account and they send me little notes, this time my husband asked for it and he didn't feel that love haha“
“Great service. Great food. A little on the expensive side but considering the food and service I wouldn't say they are out of line. I might go as far as saying the service was borderline excellent. Don't miss their Sangria. It is one of the better ones out there“
“I come at least 2 times per week. Very friendly staff, a lot of food options and drinks. Extremely organize and live music as wells. You can not go wrong coming here. Thanks you Jonathan for always bring a good service and being very professional.“
“Amazing place....the lobster tank impressive. The waiters were cute and friendly. All you can eat shrimp ? friday all day was delicious. With a Mango Mohito and mint...drink I left alittle tipsy. A definite 5 stars. Will definitely come again...a must try for all seafood lovers!!!“
“Love love love this place. In my opinion is the best authentic Columbian restaurant. Their mini empanada beef or chicken are a MUST!! You can't have just one. They bake everything onsite. I've had their grilled chicken and it's juicy, plus tostones (fried green plantains) and sweet plantains, salad bowls are amazing! I always look forward to going back. Parking- It's street parking, no meters but it's on a very busy street.“
“My sister & I stumbled upon this place one day and it was the happiest coincidence. We spent part of our childhood in Euskadi país vasco and the food at Cafe Riazor transported us back to our time in Donostia! I swore to my sister it was the most authentic, feels-like-home Spanish food I have had in the US. I took some friends back here and had the exact same experience. Good Spanish comfort food with a nostalgic atmosphere.“
“My wife and I went in for a quick breakfast sandwich (Bacon, egg and cheese, coffee, and a natural juice - tamarindo) and everything tasted amazing. The staff is very friendly and even customize the sandwiches for us. We would definitely go back and recommend as well ?“
“Definitely a seafood lovers destination. The wait time can be long sometimes but its well worth it. I'd rather wait for excellent food than get mediocre food on demand. The staff is awesome and so are the owners. Its always a pleasure going there to eat. See you guys real soon. (Getting hungry)“
“The best Dominican food according to my boyfriend who is Dominican. I though it was great food. It was my first time here as I am not a local in this area and I have to say it was delicious 100 times better than the Dominican Restauraunt we are regulars at.“
“Best place ever to have nice diner and have fun ? the drinks are the best I personally like mojito and margaritas , I really recommend his place , safe good music ?Kid-friendliness: Great place to have a good time .. excellent and friendly staff . Mateo a the best bartender . I fully recommend kana 10/10“
“This place has GREAT food! Everything is good... The service is okay, but the staff is super nice. They have catering options also! Check them out for your next event! While they have seating available, I wouldn't plan on anything intimate. It's a take out place that you can sit down if you like.Parking: There are meters but nobody comes by to check. Street parking available in VERY limited supply. But you're not walking more than a block“
“great spot in Passaic to whine down and relax with some good good, a huge monitor displaying the beautiful coastal scenery and TVs with games on in case youre missing it. service was excellent because they kept an eye on me in case i was ready to ask for something. which i didnt but i respect that attention.“
“I bought soup to take away even the tripe soup lacked more vegetables but the flavor was very good and the chicken soup was good tooWheelchair accessibility: If you can go with a wheelchair, this information is for those who have that implement.“
“Pretty decent spot, not too far away from 46 which is good. Handicap accessible as the whole establishment is on one floor I had the sweet Thai chili wings extra crispy, and Lord were they amazing!! I was obsessed and so sad that I was done eating them Lol. The Bartender and Bar were super attentive and helpful. Love the service!Parking: Probably more than 20 parking spotsWheelchair accessibility: No steps all on ground level/one floor.“
“Love this place. I had a delicious tortilla española and shrimp last night…friendly staff, clean establishment and I have experienced their flamenco shows on many occasions which are always impressive with passionate performers - the dancers, singers, guitarists- you are all wonderful .. glad to be able to be a part of the artistic, moving flamenco. Lovely night out in the city always !“
“The service is top-notch. The complimentary ham soup is delicious, but beware, you will be too full to eat if you finish it. The specials are fabulous every time, so take note. The seafood risotto was packed with fresh clams, mussels, and calamari. The seafood in salsa verdi was excellent. Each type of seafood in the dish was cooked perfectly. The flan is the best I've tasted. The espresso martini is the perfect end to a great meal. You need to try this place.“
“Great environment. Good service. The inside is nice & they have a cute outdoor space in the back. They provide complimentary bread with tomato spread. The spread is very well flavored, with a tiny bit of a kick. I would guess it’s tomatoes, olive oil, fresh pepper, fresh garlic, & a touch of salt. The ham & cheese croquetas are delicious & creamy. The tortilla española is flavorful & comes with a little bit of greens, but I drizzled the tomato spread over it for a bit more flavor. The crema catalana was delicious. I only wish it came with more strawberries. 100% returning.Vegetarian options: They offer numerous vegetarian options.“
“My partner and I came here for some lunch and came out with so much more. Very clean, affordable prices, with very friendly staff, and amazing food. Pictured with my review is the double cheeseburger, yuca fries, and a delicious beef empanada. We definitely plan on returning ??“
“wonderful tapas place! lots of food to taste from ham and cheese to sardines and olives. also some nice authentic spanish dishes like patatas rojo or fried cheese balls with a mix of meat/cheese inside (just godlike). couple of open wines to taste and a nice collection of bottled ones. overall awesome “
“Came here for a repast lunch. We ordered from the regular menu. The food is good and they obviously have a happening bar vibe in the evenings. Prices are reasonable and service was good considering we were at least 20 people. There were some hits and misses on some of the dishes but overall a good experience.“
