“Wow!! Just around the corner from where I live and so glad I stopped in!!! The food is so fresh and well seasoned and flavorful. I had the garlic shrimp, meatballs and half chicken. The chorizo and garbanzo played their part serviceably.We followed it with the Uni Palabok. The uni and caviar were very tasty, and it was nice to try quality ingredients. However, the relative intensity of the sauce somewhat drowned out the more delicate flavors of the uni and caviar.(From my wife who grew up eating Palabok, it is *extremely* elevated)Our last entree was the Lengua de Champinon, and it was phenomenal! The tongue was expertly cooked and wonderfully tender, and the creamy mushroom sauce was a great pairing for it.For dessert, they don't have it listed on the menu yet, but they had some Tres Leches cake available. The cake was perfectly saturated with milk sauce while maintaining it's form, and instead of the standard whipped cream, it had meringue on top which was quite interesting!It was a bit pricey, but the menu is online so that's no surprise.“

The ambiance is sophisticated and intimate, great for a small group of friends or a date. It pains me to give them four stars but I have to because of the service - I swear the waitress looked right at my friend and I waiting for a table and hid in the back. There were plenty of tables, so the bartender asked us if we'd like to sit, and then went and asked her to seat us. I felt like everything we asked for bothered her and I couldn't say thank you enough. Maybe it was an off night for her I'm not sure but from other reviews seems to be a theme.
