“This restaurant is phenomenal. The food is fantastic! So much so that we came on Cinco de Mayo and waited for a table just to get in. They do have 2 for 1 specials on drinks, but otherwise no other deals or happy hour specials. The seating is well spaced considering the restaurant is smaller. Being able to see into the kitchen as they make the food makes it that much tastier. I really feel connected when I can see them fresh pressing the tortillas ? It's very cool. I will say, the fish taco was my least favorite of the foods we ate. I felt like the actual fish got lost under the delicious sauce and well seasoned breading. It was overall tasty, but I wasn't getting much fish flavor with all the other stuff going on. Regardless, EVERYTHING we ate was BOMB and we will be back!Ate: guacamole, pulpo, tacos- fish, birria, al pastor“

“The closest you will get to Dominican food without being in Dominican Republic. The sangria is also extremely strong, which is an amazing thing. “It was like dining in a 5 star establishment. I had the surf & turf. The jumbo shrimp.was perfectly cooked and the steak tips unbelievably great. I never had their specialty desert cake. “While in New York, my husband and I decided to look for a Spanish restaurant that would have original paella, and we were not disappointed with the Paella Marinara from Manolo's Tapas in Washington Heights, very fresh seafood, delicious flavor and amazing service. We also had the Torta de Cangrejo "crab cakes " and it was very sutil and tasty. Both dishes were not salty at all and we appreciated it that. Only thing i will say that it was a bit uncomfortable was the situation at the end when we asked for the bill and found out that it was cash only. We called to make a reservation earlier,and were not told that or when we arrived no signs at the door, my husband had to leave me at the restaurant while he went to get cash. As tourist that was uncomfortable, however we understand this is a local place and everyone knows the rule. This place should be in magazines, it's truly a hidden jewel. We will go back, and next time we will bring enough cash.“

“We went for the Flamenco show and received a call that we should change our reservation to earlier so we were eating during the show. Great advice! Our server was not the best, but the food and the show made that a minor issue. It was a Prix Fixe dinner, but had a wide range of selections for Appetizers, Entree and Dessert. The food was delicious. The bright & lemony seafood salad with avocado and Veal Madrid were perfection. The Flamenco show was amazing. The performers were true professionals and engaged the audience. “Love love love this place. In my opinion is the best authentic Columbian restaurant. Their mini empanada beef or chicken are a MUST!! You can't have just one. They bake everything onsite. I've had their grilled chicken and it's juicy, plus tostones (fried green plantains) and sweet plantains, salad bowls are amazing! I always look forward to going back. Parking- It's street parking, no meters but it's on a very busy street.“

“We could not be happier with how our evening turned out at Olar Noso.A pretty place located right off of Tappan road, there’s ample parking and not a long wait time around 20:00 to be comfortably seated. The restaurant is spacious, lively but not noisy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Liv, our server, was on point with giving explanations and suggestions on the entrees. We absolutely loved the Salad: I think it consisted of: shredded ricotta salata, pear, pomegranate, arugula, walnuts, and farro (wheat berries), yum, a perfect symphony of flavors which has become one of my favorite dishes. The three of us ordered to share, we commenced with the Gnocchetti "Little pillows" of goat cheese and ricotta with hand-crushed organic tomato, caramelized eggplant, basil, ricotta salata, we found it to be a perfect combination of flavors with every bite. Next were the pizzas; Soppressata pizza topped withtomato, mozzarella, Soppressata, chili oil and honey (the added honey complimented the chili oil). Next, I was outvoted to try the pistachio pizza.. I’ve never had this in my life and asked Liv (as a fellow foodie) for guidance… with mixed reviews, it was decidedly my least favorite, however, it would be interesting to try it with pistachio nuts in a 60/40 blend (in a Vitamix) with ricotta as a spreadable topping (similar to the way a Nutella pizza is prepared).The food was amazing, you can tell their heart is in courtship with creativity by their constant pursuit to invent new and well balanced entrees (with lots to choose from).It’s great to see the way the restaurant blends locally sourced and seasonal ingredients into new creations bringing the farm to table experience for their patrons to enjoy. I would absolutely recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.“

“This is a restaurant specializing in grilled chicken. I have only gotten takeouts from here so I cannot speak to what the restaurant atmosphere is like. The food portion is generous an prices are reasonable for the neighborhood. I usually get the half chicken. The chicken seasoning is good and I like the smoky grill flavor, but I find that the meat can be quite dry and tough.“
