“The atmosphere was great, loved all the lights and the overall layout of the place. The music was way too loud though. Had to text my date to communicate we couldn't hear each other lol. The food was bangin tho. I had the empanadas, my date had the lobster with steak. Our waitress was excellent too, took our orders very accurately and swiftly despite how noisy it was. She was knockout too very pretty. The music itself was awesome too, a few decibels down would've been golden. Great experience overall, Shoutout to the staff!“
“It's often a challenge to find vegan options. Mamacita's didn't let me down. The veggie fajitas were easily customized and de-LICIOUS...! The strawberry margarita was fire too...! Thank you Daniella, Cameron, and PK for the hospitality...!!!“
“This is a typical Dominican restaurant in the Bronx, however, there food is slightly superior to those in the neighborhood. The chicken and beans taste better then most sorounding spots and they have great specials. The prices have hiked a bit, but with inflation it is expected. This restaurant has been around for a while and I hope it keeps thriving for many more years to come.#dominican #food #love #chicken #beans #lunch #breakfast #los3golpesVegetarian options: They have rice, beans, vegetables, plantains, and other options.Kid-friendliness: Everyone is welcome including kidsWheelchair accessibility: This is on the first floor and although the door does not open automatically, a person can come in with no issues.“
“This is a Chinchorro where you can dine ? in or take-out. The gentlemen were nice and very hospitable. The place is very clean ??. They have authentic Boricua food the Morcillas are delicious ?.Vegetarian options: Rice and beans, boiled green banana and more“
“Stopped in late night to grab a bite. I’ve always ordered through Ubereats, this was a first dining in. The chicken chunks are always great along with the rice that comes with it. The shrimp and rice was okay. The rice was amazing however the shrimp lacked seasoning. Tasted like it was steamed without any additives. The drinks were mid, not too strong but not weak.Downside, the restaurant was empty and it was late and the music was extremely loud to where you can’t hold much conversation with whoever you may be sitting with. The DJ plays good music but does not juggle well.I still recommend you give it a try!“
“I like how it's a diner with counter and booths, the food is good, prices reasonable, always clean. I did take off a star because their personalities could be friendlier, no one says good morning or afternoon, hardly ANYONE smiles, there's no greeting you which would be nice to be acknowledged when you are there.“
“This place is Puerto Rico, the food, staff and atmosphere was "chevere" the music was on point. I enjoyed my meal "mofongo" and the experience.Vegetarian options: You can request an order and they will accomodate a patron.“
“Ordered from the Yelp App twice for delivery. First time, delivered on schedule. I enjoyed the food, my companions didn't. Second order, delivered on time. I again enjoyed the food and this time so did the others. No complaints here. La Reina has been around a few years, and appears to be holding their own amongst the other neighborhood Latin restaurants within the area. Our orders have been tasty and seem to be freshly made. We haven't dined in, so uncertain if that's an option. Driving by, their inside seems tiny, though their outward appearance is rustic and inviting. It is important to note, food-wise we are not in The Heights where full on authenticity is prevalent. Having this Latin restaurant as an option in the area allows us the opportunity to order from here again.“
“Everything we travel back to the Bronx we make a stop here to have a delicious family dinner. Everything on the menu is delicious and their drinks are on point!Kid-friendliness: My kids enjoyed the bread they bring out while we were waiting for our food. The server provided coloring activities to keep them busy and the food was so good everytime!“
“I recently ate here and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The warm ambiance and rustic decor created a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the meal. Now, let’s talk about the star of the show—the Spanish chicken. The menu boasted a variety of flavorful dishes, each showcasing the chef’s expertise in combining traditional Spanish flavors with a modern twist. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender on the inside with a crispy, golden exterior that left my taste buds dancing. The appetizers were equally impressive, with options ranging from patatas bravas to chorizo croquettes. Each bite was a burst of Spanish authenticity. The chef’s commitment to using high-quality ingredients was evident, enhancing the overall dining experience. The drink menu featured a well-curated selection of Spanish wines and cocktails that complemented the meal superbly. The sangria, in particular, was a refreshing choice that added to the festive atmosphere of the restaurant. What truly stood out was the attention to detail in presentation. Each dish was a work of art on the plate, showcasing the chef’s dedication to not only taste but also aesthetics. As for the dessert, the churros were a delightful way to end the meal. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and accompanied by rich chocolate dipping sauce—a sweet ending to a savory journey. In summary, this Spanish chicken restaurant exceeded my expectations. From the inviting ambiance to the delectable dishes, every aspect of the dining experience was carefully crafted. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an authentic taste of Spain with a modern flair. ¡Delicioso! Highly recommend“
“Not bad. This is a nice neighborhood spot. A place where you won't get anything fancy but leave satisfied, having had a good meal. The churrasco was a little fatty and tough but well-seasoned. It came with sweet potato fries that were crispy and simply prepared -- some of the best I've ever had. The steak quesadilla was also a little tough but so well-seasoned that the extra chewing required worked out in my favor. The side of mofongo was pretty good as well. There are few more things on this menu I'd like to taste. I'll definitely return.“
“I love the place, excellent location near the 161st station. and Yankee Stadium in The Bronx. Latin atmosphere with our music and language. I celebrated my birthday outside my country with my wife and they introduced me as General of Puerto Rico.“
“Been here too many times to count, for take out and dining in. Dining in the service is not amazing they can take long, sometimes you have to flag them for the check because they won't check on you. Take out is better because they are more attentive at the front. I usually order pernil, white rice and a side of red beans which is $11. But everything is worth trying. At the end of the day you go for the food not the service but they are nice.“
“My husband and I went to Zona De Cuba for our 25th wedding anniversary ❤️ Everyone was wonderful! From the door man to the restaurant worker's ❤️ We enjoyed ourselves So much! A little expensive, but when Everything is good Vibes it can't be matched! The waiter even made a surprise dessert for us? I would love to go again ❤️ #LoveZonaDeCuba ?“
