“I stopped by Jerk Shack Grill to give it a try because I am Jamaican. I was pleasantly surprised by the food and can honestly say it did my countrymen proud. The beef patty was delicious and had the perfect light and flaky consistency you see in a real patty. I also ordered the large oxtail which was FIREEE. They put extra oxtail gravy all over my rice and peas without me even having to ask. I would go to the garden state plaza mall just for this food alone. I will be back!! 5/5 highly reccomend.“

“Patrick’s Place is a nice little date night spot. It’s super small so it can feel cramped BUT the entertainment and service completely make up for the limited space. It definitely more of an intimate setting. I didn’t have the pleasure of trying the food but the drinks were great. The rum punch was authentic and you could taste the Wray and nephew, need I say more? The Jazz players and singer were really good. I would definitely come back and try the food next time. Parking is a little difficult as it’s Harlem and on the main road so just keep that in mind. There is also a $20 pp minimum“

The people who serve are very friendly (there is a boy who always has a smile for the customers), I love the food they sell there, ufff it is delicious!!!!I go very often to buy cheese bread, the 9 am type is warm and super spongy. I really want to congratulate the staff for doing their job very well.PS: It's incredible but every time I go to the market Colombian music plays: cumbia, salsa, merengue, etc., good for that! The ginger tea was AMAZING, large slices of ginger were served in the cutest personal size carafes which made the tea nice and STRONG. “Aside from the place looking rundown the food was amazing my bf and his mom order a chicken and beef empanada and it was fresh and said was good I however ordered there empanada Supreme which they make on the spot and I did my vegan style no meat and was one of the best empanadas I ever had. You do have a choice to have it with chosen beef or beans as well but if you go here you should deff try the empanada Supreme. I’ve had food from here multiple times, mainly due to convenience but stopped going for a while when I realized the food wasn’t always made the same. The rice, cabbage etc is the same but I’ve had oxtail, goat, curry chicken, stew chicken, ackee & saltfish and seems like sometimes they’re a hit and other times a miss. I haven’t put my finger on if it’s different chefs or the same one changing it up on me.“
