“This place is, with out a doubt, the best Acai/Chia pudding place I have ever been to. On top of that, the chia pudding recipe tis shop is using is something distinctly different from other chia pudding I've had. It's blue, and tastes far more awesome than normal chia pudding.I accidentally discovered this little shop while visiting a friend near Montclair. I live in NYC - caught a train to Montclair Bay St station, and wandered up the block from there looking for some treats to share with friends.Jackpot.I don't live near Montclair, and this location is not convenient to me. However, I now go out of my way to visit this shop whenever I'm passing through the nearby train line.Worth it.If you (please) bring boomchia to downtown Brooklyn, I would eat there everyday. As it stands I'll have to settle for once a week.“

“This is THE smoothie place to go - hands down!I’ve been to at least 10 smoothie places in NYC (primarily Manhattan) and never been more satisfied with the drink or service than here. Honestly no other smoothie places can compare. I can order my drink within the moment I step inside (the workers are highly attentive to customers) and wait less than 5 minutes until my smoothie’s been made.Very smooth, no chunks, absolutely addictively delicious. My top choice is always the Lychee Valentine, followed by Avomazing or Smooth Avocado, but you really cannot go wrong with any of their choices.“

“My two nieces and I popped in this morning on our way to the Natural History Museum. I’ll admit I was hesitant but thankfully I listened to my nieces! I had the avocado and eggs in a crepe, which was the best gluten-free sandwich I have ever had. Did not miss the bread at all. My 14 year old chose the Nutella crepe with banana and the 9 ounce Açaí bowl. Oldest selected one of the big bowls … it was a work of art. Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip. “This is an excellent smoothie and acai bowl place, with a very fitting name! All of the fruit was fresh and smoothies are made to order. I was able to customize a smoothie with almond milk, spinach, banana, Nutella, blueberries, and avocado. It was actually surprisingly good and hit just the spot. So glad to have found this healthy juice/smoothie place in Jersey City!“

“I bumped into this shop shortly after they opened not too long ago. I was extremely pleased with my experience. Excellent juicy lamb and chicken gyro sandwiches, salads, and rice platter! All halal, too.They also serve other dishes. Their menu is not extensive, but I prefer this, since everything is made freshly and their turnover is really fast. The salads are very fresh, everything is juicy and their portions are very generous. The gyro sandwiches and platters include a can of soda, so everything is in my opinion very competitively priced.The people in the store are very kind and attentive, and I have become a frequent visitor who is greeted with a smile. When showing the place to a visiting family, who praised the platter the “best gyro” they ever had, the owner gave one of the kids an extra platter to enjoy later. I think this speaks for itself.Kid-friendliness: High chairs, very casual, very kid friendly operators.“

“Cute and fun brunch spot in the west village.. some cool, kind of on the healthier side options. They dont take reservations so had to wait 20mins on a Saturday morning which was fine. Service was good, food was nice, nothing show-stopping. But would defo go again and will try the other locations.“

“Perfect start to the day! We stayed here 4 or 5 times during our week in NY for breakfast. We tested porridge, acai bowls and smoothies. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

“I absolutely love this place. I come here once or twice a day. The smoothies are excellent. My favorites are peach’s delight and peanut butter punch. Most times I add some combination of mango, coconut and/or spinach to the peanut butter one. I haven’t tried the juices or açaí bowls yet but I’ve heard many great reviews from people I trust. “The food was very pleasing and had a really nice base. The base was tangy, sweet, sour and savory. The toppings were filling up the top and very nicely placed. Also they're mini size was perfect and small but filling. The service was very well and the workers did not take that long. I would say we waiting less than a minute for the acai bowl to be ready! Also, I had really enjoyed the music playlist, and had a nice interaction about music with the worker. The atmosphere was very nice, they're were nice, bright colors, a comfy couch and clear menus. In addition, they were very considerate and added a charging station, even though i did not use it, it seemed very nice. Love this place and I ordered the Purple Rain. “Best Poke in Hoboken. Everything is so fresh and the sauces are always so good. The kale noodles are the best base by far too, worth a try. Very good price for the quality of the food. Service is quick even though the place can get very busy. Not the best seating options for dine in (more outside seating so raining days especially), so I would suggest carry out.“

“This is my SPOT! I come here after workouts and love the classic açaí bowl. The tropical pitaya and peanut butter protein bowls are also very good. I've never eaten inside, but it's decent decor (just get to-go). The girls making the bowls are pretty quick and always offer a smile. This is the only place I get my açaís in Jersey!“

“Came here for their Madison Square drink which sounds amazing, only to realize they rarely make anything fresh and made-to-order. They bottle the drinks in the front, and if they run out, you're out of luck - which is what happened with the Madison Square. Not a fan of not having a juice freshly made. Got the new green smoothie which was good, but a bit too heavy on the lemon. If I'm back in the area, would come back for that Madison Square.“

I then ordered a chicken sandwich with grilled peppers and onions, it was very very good. The Cafe is constantly busy and there are teenagers everywhere because I'm guessing there is a high school near by. The bathroom was impeccably clean!“

A lot of the places I have visited before do not allow much customization because of pre-made bowls and they never customize without charging extra. I really enjoyed that about this place! The staff here were really kind and the owner was really sweet! It was a nice quaint location with a cool ambience. It had a lot of fresh colors and accents and it gave a nice vibe. The location was perfect next to the Newport station and its close to the Hudson which Made eating with a view great! I would highly recommend the acai base. Ended up being kind of expensive, $17 for an acai bowl is not ideal. But it was good acai. Nice and smooth, good flavor. Liked how there was granola on the bottom layer as well as the top.“

“Agavi makes organic juice drinks to your specifications. They set up a Popup Juice Bar in my community. There was a list of ingredients to choose from. I had spinach, carrot, celery and ginger which was refreshing after my workout. The employee was quick and efficient working alone. He even advised me about my choice of ingredients due to my blood sugar. He just added a small amount of carrots since they are sweet. My friend had the same ingredients and added the apple for sweetness. I really enjoyed the experience. I'm not very familiar with juicing. I'd definitely visit this location when I'm nearby. It's a great way to get my veggies for the day.“

I cant speak for all locations but Playa Bowls at 27th and 7th in NYC is quick and efficient as well. I can be in and out in less than five minutes, which is crucial for me. I always know I will get quick, accurate service and fresh food, so it’s a frequent lunch destination.“
