“This is a great spot for a date or special occasion. Dinner is Pre-Fix and the menu changes seasonally. The dining areas are very inviting. The staff was very detail oriented and just enough but not on top of you. Basically the service is impeccable. As for the food everything is timed great and everything we ate was awesome. I thought I might leave hungry initially but that was not the case. Must go to spot for a romantic dinner“

The food was superb, presentation a dream but what made the night was the service! Professional, cheeky and attentive, Ricardo and Mynor are an attentive dream team. “We arrived at around 3pm as lunch service was switching to dinner, their in between menu still has lots to offer. We ordered the burger with fries and a French onion soup to share, but I regret not having it all to myself! My partner ordered a margarita which he greatly enjoyed, and I had a dirty martini which was excellent. The staff were friendly & attentive, I can’t say enough lovely things about this restaurant. I would definitely return next time we’re in New York. I don’t know what they do to their french fries but they are highly addictive and the French onion soup was as good as my mother makes which is a huge compliment. Thanks for having us!!!!“

By the time the main courses rumble to the table, though, it’s clear that Le Rock’s heart lies in the roll-up-your-sleeves, tuck-a-napkin-in-your-collar bistro tradition. There is steak au poivre, of course, but the peppercorns are pungent pickled green ones and the meat is a big pan-seared hunk of bison filet with a tenderness you never find in beef.“

We wanted our children to experience a top French restaurant with a tasting menu. We enjoyed the seven course "essential menu." Dined on so many tasty dishes. Absolutely my favorite was the wagyu. “TLDR: Replacing what was The Breslin is now Koloman. This is a very European restaurant. I've only been for lunch but for this level of dining, probably one of the better prefixe menus. I think the focaccia is worth it and for my selections, tartare, schnitzel and strudel.I went through a week of just eating a lot of fancy lunches solo. This day I hit up Koloman as I was curious about their prefixe for awhile.I added the warm pumpkin focaccia and yeah - that was tasty. Definitely rubbed in plenty of oil but it was nicely crispy on the outside but oh so fluffy on the inside. That butter was something else too.For the selections I started with the tartare. Typical french preparation, not too eggy or rich. Adequate acidity and very flavorful.Schnitzel. I wanted to like this a bit more but it was still good. The schnitzel coating was quite thin but maybe the way it was plated on top of each other - it kind of steamed out the coating and it just fell off. I liked the warm potato salad that accompanied it. I still am not a fan of lingonberry but I can appreciate it.Strudle. Very thin layers, tasty but maybe too much powdered sugar for my preference.Overall - I liked the food enough that Id' be back and maybe try some other things on the menu. Standout for me on this meal though? Focaccia, tartare.“

My wife and I have been to numerous Michelin starred restaurants and after a while you feel like you’re just eating the same 17 course tasting menu over and over again. Luckily, Le Pavillon allows you to order proper portions and have a real meal and the overall experience was way more impressive than the already high expectations we had.I started with a take on chicken soup which was impressive and delicious, my main was a beef duo with incredible vegetables and sauces, and I finished with the best banana pudding I’ve ever had. My wife had an onion tart that was a play on French onion soup, incredible duck, and then a play on an ice cream cake. The service was impeccable and friendly without being snobby at all and the decor was beautiful, with an entire indoor garden in a high rise with tons of storefront glass. Look one way and there was nature - look the other and it’s the city. Everything was impressive and wonderful and we’ve already talked about returning.“

“I start this review at the end: We will be returning to L'accolade for dinner again. I made our reservations on the same night as catching a show after dinner and so, we did not get a bottle from the wine list. The next time we go back, my husband and I have agreed to schedule dinner on it's own so that we may spend a bit more time and have a bottle from the wine list. The wine list is intriguing and electric, with many selections that my husband did not recognize, but is excited to try.I reserved at L'accolade because it was close to the venue where our show was scheduled that night and the restaurant that I first booked had removed duck (my favourite) from their menu. I wasn't sure what to expect exactly, from the online menu I was expecting something quite French, but I thought it would a bit more traditional? We were blown away and so happy I found L'accolade!Entering the restaurant we were greeted in a very professional and knowledgeable staff member, who had a great smile :)The place was hopping - lively music, lots of people having lively conversation and the interior felt like a very like we were about to dine in someone's beloved wine cave.We were seated at one of the best tables in the restaurant, I'm not sure how we got so lucky, this table was perfect for us.The gentleman was taking care of us primarily let us know we arrived at Happy Hour and that the drink specials were still on, so we began with a cocktail. I rarely have gin so opted for the Lavande, which features one of my fav flavour combinations, lavender and lemon and it was the perfect start to my meal. My husband requested a vodka martini on ice with three olives and our gentleman asked he if wanted it dirty - always the sign that someone knows their martinis! My husband answered "A little" and our gentleman knew exactly what was what :DWe greatly enjoyed our cocktails while we made our decisions about our meals. My husband looked over the wine list and was surprised to see many selections he was unfamiliar with, it was decided that if the food was good, we would be back to try a bottle from the wine list.At the perfect moment, the gentleman taking care of us returned to take our food orders and wine for our mains. We were very happy to be informed how each of our mains would be served - both medium rare, which is our preferred cook. I am not sure how others feel about this, but for my husband and I, we were reminded of our recent trip to Paris and take as a sign that the chef is well-trained in the French style. This was a touch that really made us smile, thank you.I had the Hamachi Tartare, it was beautifully presented, balanced, tasted of freshness and just a touch of acidity. I was worried it wouldn't taste right with my cocktail, but it was quite complimentary. My husband opted for the Seared Scallops which looked dramatic and perfect on his plate. He greatly enjoyed them and, of course, loved his martini. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, it reminded us greatly of French service with a friendly American twist. One of the things that stood out to us about the staff is that they genuinely seem to like working here and to also like each other, it's a really great environment to spend time in.Our table was clear and our mains presented in perfect timing and our dinner wine were brought over at exactly the right moment. My husband had the Beef Strip Loin, which included a serving of bone marrow. His plate was dramatic and he loved it. My husband that although he doesn't usually enjoy bone marrow, it was delicious and he finished it all off. We really appreciate the staff member who was attentive enough to realize that my husband needed a spoon without us asking, thank you, thank was very kind.I had the duck. It was the reason that we booked here and it was wonderful - perfectly cooked, the sides were tasty and balanced. It was the kind of duck that I will think about for a long time.We are so happy that we had dinner here and have been talking about it since we visited.“

“Embarking upon the gastronomic journey that is Barnea in the heart of Manhattan, one finds themselves in a culinary dreamscape, where each dish serves as a verse in an epicurean sonnet. This establishment isn't just a restaurant; it's a symphony of flavors conducted by the maestro chefs, with the bustling, yet impeccably orchestrated, service reminiscent of a New York minute—swift, efficient, and without a beat missed. Our odyssey commenced with a parade of appetizers that whispered tales of the sea, the earth, and the ethereal realms in between. The king salmon crudo, a dish that seemingly swam from the ocean depths directly to our plates, offered a refreshing prelude with its delicate texture and zesty accompaniments. The Barnea egg Benedict, a celestial reimagining of a brunch classic, was poached not just in water, but in a potion of culinary magic, making each bite a revelation. The polenta fries were like golden beams of sunshine on a plate—crispy on the outside, whisper-soft within, proving that even the humblest ingredients can be elevated to haute cuisine. Crispy dumplings, a playful nod to the global palate, danced with flavors that were at once familiar and novel. Patatas bravas, a dish steeped in tradition, were reborn here, fiery and bold. The beef carpaccio, a testament to the art of simplicity, melted away on the tongue, leaving behind a longing for just one more bite.As we ventured into the main course, the narrative deepened. The duck confit risotto was a masterful blend of textures and tastes, each grain of rice telling a story of craftsmanship and care. The glazed beef short ribs, tender to the point of poetry, were glazed in a sauce that could only be described as liquid gold. The rack of lamb, an ode to the pastoral, was a symphony of succulence and seasoning, while the tournedos, a ballet of beef at its most tender and flavorful, performed gracefully on the palate. The chef's special miso black cod, a dish of understated elegance, whispered secrets of the sea with every forkful.Ah, the grand finale of our gastronomic ballet at Barnea, where the curtain call was as sweet as the symphony preceding it. Dessert is, after all, the encore that every foodie soul yearns for, a final note that lingers long after the performance has ended. And what a standing ovation our choices garnered! The Key Lime Pie, not merely a dessert but a voyage, transported us to the sun-drenched groves of Florida with each bite. Its delicate balance of tart and sweet sang a duet with the buttery, crumbly crust, a harmony so divine that even the angels paused to listen. This was not just a pie; it was a slice of bliss, a creamy whisper of dreams made tangible.La Noisette, on the other hand, was a masterclass in the art of subtlety and sophistication. A ballet of hazelnuts, chocolate, and cream that pirouetted across the palate with grace and elegance. Each spoonful was a brushstroke of flavor, painting a portrait of indulgence that was as exquisite to the eye as it was to the taste. This dessert was a love letter to the senses, penned in the language of sweetness and texture. To dine at Barnea is to partake in a feast for the senses, a testament to the art of cooking, and a reminder of the joy that can be found in a meal not just eaten, but experienced. Would I do it all over again? In a New York heartbeat.“

“A restaurant that has been on my list for too long! Tried their winter menu and it was so good! The ricotta gnodi has the most fresh red crab. The tuna toast was so flavorful. The yellow cake is so simple yet so delicious. A good restaurant can really turn simplicity into perfection. Bar Bête really did it! The service and ambience were outstanding too! The only thing is (not the restaurant’s fault at all) I wish the party of bros were not there yelling. I think they might have some misunderstanding about the restaurant’s name. It’s not a bar. It’s a perfect spot for date nights and friends gatherings but respect other guests’ experiences first.“

“The Niçoise salad is much better than the one I had in Nice, France, where the dish originated. The one at L’Express is made with fresh seared tuna in comparison to the one in Nice that was made with a can of oily tuna. The baby artichoke at L’Express was also exceptional.Prices of food and cocktails are reasonable for NYC, and the service at the bar was superb.“

“Brazilian/Portuguese fine dining experience. I m glad I chose this place. It was magical. It was stunning. Amazing team work from top to bottom. It was open kitchen and that was something I really enjoyed. It was always interesting to witness everyone worked together as a team. Anyway I have to point it out that our server really listened. Navy terms, we call it "attention to details." Special occasion details were not provided when the reservation was made. Yet he figured out the special occasion and improvised accordingly. A surprising treat was served at the end of the dinner. It was like something you would see from a TV show. For the food, the tasting menu was a symphony. A roller coaster ? I would say. The transitions of the flavor from mild to strong and strong to mild were just beautiful. Bravo to the chef. Thoughtfulness was what it was. In my opinion, Some courses were Japanese culture influenced but reconstruted with Brazilian flavored and modern techniques. They were just amazing. Art within art. The collaboration with Toma-L, a renowned painter from France, was a brilliant ideal. It took the dining experience to a whole new level. It is subjective, but I think I had the best dining experience ever. I really enjoyed it.“

“A surprise birthday dinner at 11 Madison Park. And … yes for all those who are vegan, vegetarian and those who are open minded about culinary inventions, do go to this place at least once! What an experience, from the minute you sit down from the bar to the dining table, the service is impeccable, the atmosphere is one of excitement, relaxed and fun at the same time. The wine pairing is amazing. I had the best wines with our meal. The food is simply mind blowing; delicate, decadent, beautifully prepared and presented. You just keep eating and drinking non stop, the dishes just keep coming. Highly highly recommended!!“

“Great spot for French bistro food- a smidge on the pricey end. There are some really cool and interestingly served cocktails to be had, such as the one in the bird glass and one in the mini bathtub. The grilled octopus, steak tartare and burger were all outstanding. Our server RODRIGO was terrific. He was very attentive to our party and also helped make our night really fun.“

“An absolute must if you love bottomless brunch!!! The ambiance also truly makes this place the garden seating is absolutely spectacular and super cute for a date or photos. Their food is decent too It's presentation is delightful. The front of house staff is also cordial and well trained with the menu. It's so cute to just explore how creative they were with the design and seating of the whole place as well. Defintely take a walk around. You might have to wait for a table on weekends. My one feedback is there's always a line for the bathroom. It's also very expensive and the portion sizes could defintely be bigger it isn't too filling so they could help the portion sizes reflect the cost. They aren't big. Otherwise love this place!!! ?Vegetarian options: There's salads and some tofu subsDietary restrictions: The menu does a great job with dairy and gluten labelsParking: It's impossible to park its in the west village better off taking the metro.Kid-friendliness: Fairly kid friendly there are some bigger tables.Wheelchair accessibility: It's cramped for a wheel chair and there are lots of stairs and no elevators.“

“I had the pleasure of dining at Ai Fiori for Valentine's Day, and it’s definitely a meal I won’t forget. The review is a bit delayed, but the experience was so memorable, particularly their risotto, which was the best I've ever had. I’ve since tried risotto at other restaurants, but none have lived up to the standard set by Ai Fiori. We opted for the four-course prix fixe menu, which was a journey of exquisite flavors. Along with the standout risotto, they prepared an exquisite chocolate box that I had ordered as an extra surprise for my wife. It was beautifully presented at our table when we arrived, making for a lovely and thoughtful gesture. The dinner, while a bit expensive, turned out to be an excellent deal thanks to our $100 hotel credit from the AMEX Platinum card. This definitely took the sting out of the price and made the whole experience feel even more worthwhile.Every dish, including the risotto and the beautifully crafted chocolate box, contributed to a fantastic overall experience at Ai Fiori. The four-course meal was a perfect balance of culinary artistry and flavor, and the added bonus of the AMEX credit just enhanced the value of an already splendid evening. It was a Valentine’s dinner that combined luxury, exceptional taste, and a special touch of romance.“

This is the type of place you want to keep for yourself because it’s just so good, but the time behind that little gem deserves to be known ! They were helpful when we couldn't choose between two dishes. They took steps to ensure we were comfortable and they were especially kind. “We waited 1h30m in line on a Friday. We understood that croissants are baked only 3x day: at 8am, noon and 4 pm. They have 3 types: chocolate, pistachio and carrots (during Easter). The biggest disappointment was that they let you buy only one per person. Since we were only 2, we left out the carrots. They're scrumptious and they have plenty filling. It was cold and we arrived at 3:30pm; we had about 70 people in front of us already, but the line formed much earlier probably and didn't move at all until around 4pm. The price is $10 and they have some other small quiche and cake slices. Bread, too. I didn't like the Baguette Definitely only the croissants are the main attraction. My daughter said she'll wait again to just eat another one...but for me, to wait 1h30m for one pc...not worth it. Some people said that they tried before and they finished the croissants before their turn. That's a bummer too.“
