“We stopped by for the first time to eat in the restaurant yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. My family enjoyed the food, the staff/service was great, and everything was clean. We've ordered and had delivery in the past, but this was out first time actually IN the restaurant, and we really enjoyed our visit. We split four slices between the three of us (so we could try a few new/different items) and everything was delicious. We'll be back soon! :)“

The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“All the walk ins were already booked when we showed up right at open (5pm on Sat), but they put us on the waitlist. Luckily, around 8pm we got a text saying to come in at 8:45. A good option if you live nearby or have things to do in the area.The Pizzas we got were cooked to perfection. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had in the city. If you like Neapolitan style, you won't find a better dough anywhere. Our dessert, Almond Cremolata was simply delicious.The ambiance was amazing. You get to see the chefs and the process of pizza making if you get seated close enough. Service was friendly, quick and efficient.“

“Come for the space, there's a lovely enclosed patio in the back! Stay for the pizza and the drinks, both of which were surprisingly good. Be warned, however, that the menu is a novella. So many options, it's approaching overwhelming. If you like Neapolitan-style pizza, you'll definitely enjoy La Lanterna's. It was the right chewiness, and the toppings and sauce were tasty. I also had one of the many available adult beverages, opting for a hard coffee. It was excellent. The cheese and pate plate was good -- the bread it came with was well seasoned and had a nice crisp. But the presentation definitely leaves something to be desired, it definitely looked like an elementary school science fair project on the plate. Overall, good food, not too pricey, and a nice patio. “The Best Pizza in NYC! - If you want the best pizza in NYC you have to go to Pop's Pizza. I'm a native New Yorker of 50 years and Pop's Pizza is my favorite pizza in NYC. They make a perfect slice... thin crispy crust with fresh sauce, toppings and ingredients. I made a total bonehead mistake and typed in the wrong amount online for payment (roughly 10x the amount with tip) and these guys were quick to recognize and contact me, assuring me that they had averted the crisis and would have my slices ready for the correct payment when I got there (which was ~ 5 til close). “On 18 August, 2023 we visited BELLA TRATTORIA E PIZZERIA for lunch. It was a very quiet weekday and we really didn’t know where to go, but this place caught our eye very quickly. The establishment was open and we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who happened to be the owner. He was very warm and literally gave us a rundown on the several businesses he had managed over the years before running BELLA. It was a pleasure to speak to a professional. We did not really know what to order and he helped us throughout and treated our twelve-year old boy like a son. I recall he suggested a lemon drink that the child loved. After our meal, a delicious salad and some dishes of freshly made pasta, he suggested we try his signature Tiramisu, but we declined because we were really full and wanted to spare some room for a forthcoming dinner.
