“This place has in this town for 28 years, there is a reason why they have been around so long. The owner is this wonderful sweet lady that, she is definitely Jamaican be a those Pattie’s hit different. The oxtails are succulent and falls off the bones, the plantain’s are sweet and crispy on the edges. If you’re looking for delicious Jamaica food go here, always call before you go because she starts cooking in the morning and at times the food isn’t ready until after 12pm but it’s very much worth the wait. ????The prices are very reasonable but those Pattie’s are to die for.“

“Delicious oxtail black mushroom rice plantains, jerk wings and Mac & cheese! I got it delivered. 3:09 got here at 3:32. I live 5 minutes away so that was great time! The only bad thing I gotta say is, o ordered while my wife was at the gym & I really wanted to eat it all! Lol reluctantly, I saved her half! You guys almost made me disrespect my wife by not sharing with her! ? great food guys! I will be back!“

“The Owner and Staff were so Kind, helpful and welcoming. The most welcomed I’ve ever felt in any restaurant! Ever. The Location is spotless clean, and you walk in and the smell of fresh Grilled Jerk Chickenhits you instantly.I Had the Oxtail meal as well as the Jerk wings! Both were so good!! & fresh!The jerk wings were Crispy and sauced very well! I also purchased a homemade strawberry Ginger drink, that was amazing as well. This was my first time, but I’ll definitely be back, the entire experience of this restaurant is just that! An amazing experience, even for takeout! You’re treated with kindness and so much gratitude.You will not be disappointed by this place.“

It is so hard to find real authentic Jamaican food and a plus side to this is the service provided and atmosphere is always amazing! The place is clean and the owner is also very nice. “I've been meaning to write a review for some time now. Bekka's Bakery is a must try if you have not been here. I typically eat Jamaican lunch once a week - going to various joints around town, but I always return to Bekka's. Every bite is delicious! I honestly believe it's the best Jamaican food in the area. I typically order the Jerk Chicken or the Curry Goat. They are both to die for. Heavenly seasoned - Bekka does not skimp on the spices on her jerk nor her curry. It really stands out when comparing her food to other local Jamaican spots. Even her callaloo is outrageously delicious. Also - Bekka is a friendly and welcoming host. It's funny to me how this is a rarity in the neighborhood but it's refreshing to be welcomed into a local restaurant. There is a table and barstools to eat at, but it's more of a takeout joint. If I had to make one critique, I wish the dining section was a little more intimate as I would come for dinner with the family on the regular.“

“I visited Sashey's for the first time on April 23 and I must say the food I ordered (curry goat with rice and peas and a brown stew fish) was excellent! In addition, the customer service was on point. I definitely will return again. Take my word, if you want good, authentic Jamaican food, Sashey's is the place.“

The food was truly awesome.I had also purchased Jamaican style Rum Cake (some folks call it "brown cake"), Potato Pudding, and sorrel, considering the fact that my birthday falls into the last and best month of the year...Lol.Nadia and her staff are representing Yard (Jamaica) with high standards, excellent service, and the amazing quality of the food she serves says it all...Since my initial visit and purchases, for me, ALL roads leads to Caribbean Grill, located in Montclair, New Jersey. “The lunch specials are really reasonable. Hotpot makes these dumplings that look like biscuits, and they are soooo good. The fried chicken has a great taste. I am a brown stew person with extra cabbage with less rice. Love the food. I haven't tasted the oxtails, but I heard they are really good.Parking: Make sure you try the dumpling rolls and add some butter or jelly.“

Its a breath of fresh air knowing that they care about the health of their customers.Their curry goat meal is so delicious and I must say you should try it too. “I know that Irvington definitely is a stop everytime I am in NY,NY and NJ because of Big G Jamaican. It’s the best feel to dine here as it’s like eating home.
