“Keens Steakhouse is a MUST visit for great food, exceptional service and a unique dining atmosphere that hearkens back to its roots.Everything was delicious! I had a T-Bone and it was perfectly grilled. The carrots soaked in butter were amazing! The wedge salad and bread border on addiction inducing! For dessert, the creme brulee was outstanding. One of the best I've had in the United States! Simple but light and creamy with an undertone of vanilla it was perfection in a cup!Thank you Keens for a wonderful experience!“
“Came up from Atlanta on my ? to celebrate, and they did not disappoint customer service was on ?. The food was on ? as my steak was cooked perfectly to my desired medium well. My family enjoyed it as well. The music was relaxing ?. Left full and happy. Thanks a bunch.. JayFromTheA ?“
“Everyone of us has dined out for steak dinners but very few establishments remained consistent. This has been my fourth time dining here and it’s been the same since my first dining experience- consistent and attentive service! No matter the volume of service, club A dedicates their time and effort into making your dining experience exceptional.“
“Food was delicious - especially the bread omg. Everything was al a carte. Came here straight from broadway- very close walking distance. Drinks were perfect and the staff was soo attentive.Vegetarian options: I’m vegetarian and are the Mac and cheese and broccoli side dishes. Other vegetarian options available“
“Great vibe. Absolutely LOVE the jazz trio. Food tasted great. Portions are quite small for the price, and the steak was very especially grizzly, unfortunately. Very attentive and well trained staff. Lots of push upselling drinks on the drinks, and they brought bottle water we had to pay for despite asking for tap 3 times. Wonderful wine and cocktails menu. Overall I would recommend for special occasions.“
“Our dinner at The Capital Grille was fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect...sophisticated, elegant, comfortable, and designed to accommodate pleasant conversation without having to raise one's voice to be heard. The staff were wonderful, patient, and caring in all areas...personal presentation, listening carefully, speaking in professionally-friendly tones, accommodating reasonable requests, delivering orders in an efficient manner and making the food visually attractive. One of our entrees was seafood and the other was beef. Both were made and delivered at the exactly correct temperature and level of "done-ness". The desserts were absolutely delicious as well. Our meals were perfect in taste and in volume. We celebrated a birthday at my table and the staff was generous in providing an unexpected and beautiful dessert made especially for our occasion. Our table consisted of good friends who hadn't seen each other in a long while, so our conversation was important to us. The staff respected our "space" and we never felt rushed or pressured. We were thrilled with the whole experience and felt that it was worth the price that we paid.“
“Nusret NY offers an unforgettable dining experience, highlighted by impeccable service and a diverse menu. The Wagyu steak was cooked to perfection, and the attention to detail in presentation was impressive. However, the initial seating process was slightly disorganized, and the restroom situation could be improved. Despite these minor issues, the culinary journey and ambiance make it worth every penny“
“8 of us came out for a graduation celebration dinner and we loved everything!! our server, juan n, made sure each of us were taken care of with attention to detail and a super friendly vibe. bread, drinks, salads, and apps were a 10/10 (blooming onion a bit spicy if that’s your thing!), and food came out about 20 minutes after ordering.. so fast and everything was perfect! juan managed to remember entrees and specific preferences for all 8 members of our party. he provided a lovely experience and a lighthearted atmosphere with his jokes, smiles, and kind manners. bussing/running staff was on point as well, make sure to let them know (this one girl had really cute ribbons on her nails— u slayed <3)!“juan was fantabulous, i almost never get my salad the way i want and he aced it”.“didn’t miss a single thing, really good attention to detail!”we <3 u juan n, thank you!“

“This is the perfect hotel in the perfect location. Close to Times Square and Broadway, shopping and restaurants! The staff is amazing. All are friendly and helpful. Great food and drinks. The rooms are clean, comfortable and stylish. I’ve found my New York hotel!“
“Very classy interior, old fashioned atmosphere. A bit more expensive than I would be comfortable with. Appetizers and main course were amazing. I had tuna tartare and Jumbo Shrimp Scampi, my husband had New York Strip Steak. It was so good, so delicious! And we decided to order some deserts. It was a mistake though! My Apple Strudel was absolutely different from what I had expected. My husband had a Lemon Sorbet, which had not any test at all and was too icy, it had not a smoothie texture at all. So we had been really disappointed with desert.“
“A bit overpriced but much nicer than other restaurants. We had a lovely time and our waiter Tony was amazing. The steak we asked for was medium rare and it was a bit too cooked (more like medium to medium well, not red in the center anymore) but we hate to send steaks back as we know they simply throw those out. Otherwise, the taste and flavors were simply fantastic. Would visit again for an occasion!“
“We had the best experience at Bobby Van's! Our waiter, Paul, made our meal so memorable by offering outstanding menu suggestions, being incredibly attentive despite a packed restaurant, and keeping us entertained with his delightful personality. The meal was spot on: great wine, oysters on the half shell (incredible), Caesar salad, the porterhouse for two (wow!), sautéed mushrooms, cheesecake and after dinner drinks to top it off. We will definitely be back!“
“This place is top quality and food is delicious. The ribeye was probably the best I've tried - extremely soft and very flavorful. The ambience is beautiful and fancy. Service was great and waiters were knowledgeable. Prices were high but overall had a great experience and would come back!“
“Pleasantly surprised, I went with my family to celebrate my parents 33rd wedding anniversary and we loved it! Service was exceptional and the food was delicious, perfectly seasoned and we thought the variety was good. I would choose this over the “nicer” looking chain Brazilian stakes house at the mall any day. Special thanks to our waiter, the older gentleman passing the meats (forgot his name but he was so sweet) and Jonatan also passing meats were very attentive the made our time even more special!“
“This is the first time I’ve been to Outback in Edgewater, NJ. It’s actually the first time I’ve been to an Outback in any state since 2009. I am so glad I walked in on a whim. The host, waitress and runner were fantastic. Thank you Stephanie for a great evening.“
“We were there 2 days ago and was completely happy with our server Natalie. Not only was she recommending things to us that she personally tried but she went above and beyond to make our experience super enjoyable. She asked us about what we planned to do while on our short vacation and was just such a lovely person!!! We also were not the first people to give her high compliments to her manager! I would recommend going to this restaurant if Natalie is working! Thank you Natalie for making our dinner the best on our trip!!!!!!“
“I didn’t want the expensive price, like Keens and Johnnie’s, but still a good quality steak. I was able find Westside Steakhouse on trip adviser. Good quality steaks with out breaking the bank. I ordered a NY steak medium, it was cooked perfectly and I added crumble blue cheese for perfection. The mushroom risotto was moist and delicious. My son said that there Mac n Cheese one of the best he has eaten. The ambiance is great and the staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend this restaurant!“
“I’d have a difficult time believing there’s a better old school style steakhouse in New York. I was lucky enough to return here for dinner yesterday evening after not having been since the age of 16. Everything is just as I remembered. All staff were immensely pleasant, charismatic, and the perfect level of attentive. I opted to sit at the bar and ordered an impeccably balanced Boulevardier followed by a neat pour of Stagg (Jr.) bourbon. These were ideal pairings to the hashbrowns, asparagus, and medium rare sirloin that I ordered. The food was prepared to the perfect temperature and texture.Everything about this experience conveyed class, precision, and simplicity. Sparks proves that you don’t need to be the priciest or the flashiest to be the best.“
“Got admit the manager and staff there were amazing. But the food wasn’t all that to me to be honest. I got oyster (wasn’t fanatic), caviar (amazing), tomahawk steak (wasnt all that), king crab leg (it was alright) but the desert was amazing. I got cremele and lava cake. Both were freaking amazing ! Definitely would come back but not for no tomahawk“
“Absolutely delicious food and good value for money. The bife de chorizo and filet both came cooked as ordered and were fabulous, like I have eaten in Buenos Aires. Accompanying salads and potatoes great too. Dulce de leche pancakes are a must order. The Balcarce cake dessert was over the top good. Excellent wine selection and good espresso. Super attentive service. Don't let the location on otherwise ugly Tonnelle Avenue fool you. This is a Hudson County gem.“
“Emily was our server and she was beyond excellent! She gave us time and had suggestions. It felt like we knew her after only a few minutes. We started with a dozen oysters then We had the porterhouse for two and shelled king crab legsMelt in your mouth, eye rolling delicious!Parking: There was no parking. Valet was ideal“
“Last night, my family and I visited the Roots Steakhouse, Ridgewood location to celebrate a special birthday occasion. We were greeted with impeccable service from our server, who catered to our needs flawlessly. The cuisine, as always, was simply delightful. While enjoying our meal, a small mishap occurred where a drink was accidentally spilled onto the floor, splashing onto my sports coat. The server promptly expressed sincere apologies and notified their supervisor. To our surprise, Larry, the general manager, personally approached our table to offer his sincere apologies and assistance. Despite my reassurances that accidents happen, Larry insisted on arranging for the dry cleaning of my coat and even offered to deliver it to my home. Although I declined his kind offer, Larry ensured that I could submit the dry cleaning bill for reimbursement. As we concluded our meal, we were pleasantly surprised when Larry sent over an assortment of complimentary desserts from the menu. His professionalism and genuine care during this incident were truly commendable. This review is not intended to critique the staff but to express heartfelt gratitude to Larry and his team for their exceptional handling of an unfortunate situation.“
“Great filet mignon - waiter said it comes with string bean but nothing on the side just steak with truffle sauce. Was a hearty portion and cooked perfectly. Not cheap expect to pay 70+ just for steak but quality was perfect. Wines weren’t that expensive. I’d go back to try their prime rib. In comparison Ruth Chris charges a little less for steak but upsells the wines.“
“We ate there two Shabbats in the last month.Excellent foodExcellent service .Ephraim the owner is there and takes care of everyone.Reasonable price for a very good Saturday night dinner(New prices are expensive). In short, delicious, nice and worth every dollar.with appetite“
“As one would expect of a good steakhouse, the meal was pricy, but delicious. The dimly lit upper room has a good daytime view of Van Cortlandt Park.Parking: They have on the street valet parking, so I assume there is ample room for most of the guests.“
“Wonderful experience on a Friday evening steak was cooked perfectly but under seasoned IMHO side of creamed spinach perfect a bit stoic on second floor in regard to ambiance lower level bar much more fun waiter Sal was best I have encountered in years“
“Love the food, the ambiance, the service and the attention to details. Born and raised in Rome, I am very finicky about food:At prime 259, I always get perfectly cooked "al dente" pasta.Cacio e Pepe, amatriciana, puttanesca are my favorites dishes.Best in Bergen County for sure. A walking distance from my office it makes my lunch and happy hour, very happy indeed.Reasonable prices, great people and, very important to me: CLASS! Sophisticated and friendly!“
“Allendale steakhouse is such a local gem. The steaks are incredible. Although recently I ordered a 2 1/2 pound lobster and that was superb as well Warm courteous service. We are very fortunate to have this restaurant in our neighborhood.“
“The food is tasty. The atmosphere reminds me of me of the old fashion steakhouse. The chef is personable. The wait staff is great. Ask for John, for top notch service. The prices are compatible. It's a great place for family dinner, friend gathering, or date night. .“
“I have to be honest, I didn't know this place existed! My boyfriend surprised me with a birthday dinner here back in January and I forgot to review it. I have to be honest, riding up the escalator, you'd think you're going to Per Se, my boyfriend immediately shut that down (?).We had pleasant evening, with a great table by the window overlooking the outside NYC streets. Every steakhouse we've gone to, we've ordered the same things: a martini, whiskey neat, caesar salad, porterhouse or tomahawk and 1-2 sides.I also got a surprise slice of birthday cake, thank you!(See Photos section for pictures)“
“We enjoyed a family birthday dinner. As always, the menu was innovative, the food was delicious and perfectly prepared. What elevated the meal was the calm, attentive service, and impeccable timing of the courses, a sign of a well-trained, professional staff.“
“We were 3 women celebrating a birthday. I indicated that on my reservation. We were greeted warmly and our coats were taken. We were led to a table in a great location. There was a personal hand-written card to the birthday person which was lovely. The ambience of the bar and room has an air of sophistication which is very welcome in a NY restaurant. The service and food were beyond excellent. The popovers were the best we had ever had and we each had a different meal ranging from the salads to the pasta to the fish and chicken. The dessert was served with a Happy Birthday message written in chocolate. In our excitement of leaving and getting to the theater on time, we left behind a small gift bag. I checked my phone at intermission and there was a text from the restaurant through Open Table that they were holding it for us. We went back after the show and picked it up. Thank you, Open Table and Hunt and fish Club, for stellar service. We had a wonderful experience and we will be back.“
“"Benjamin Steakhouse is an absolute gem for discerning steak enthusiasts. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with an atmosphere of sophistication and warmth. The ambiance is refined yet inviting, perfect for a memorable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the steaks. Each cut is impeccably prepared to perfection, boasting incredible flavor and tenderness that truly melts in your mouth. Whether you prefer a classic filet mignon or a bone-in ribeye, every bite is a testament to the culinary mastery of the chefs at Benjamin Steakhouse. But it's not just about the steaks – the sides and appetizers are equally impressive. Indulge in their heavenly mashed potatoes, savory creamed spinach, or decadent lobster mac and cheese to complement your main course. The service at Benjamin Steakhouse is unparalleled, with attentive staff who anticipate your every need without being intrusive. They're knowledgeable about the menu and can offer expert recommendations to ensure you have the perfect dining experience.Overall, Benjamin Steakhouse exceeds expectations in every aspect, delivering a dining experience that is nothing short of extraordinary. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving the best steak in town, Benjamin Steakhouse is the ultimate destination for a culinary delight that will leave you craving more."“
“The service was definitely great. Fast and friendly staff. They deserved the 18% priced-in gratuity. (I usually disagree with priced in, but they werr worth it)The food was 7/10 at best. I ordered a medium-well T-bone that ended up being served medium anyway. The meat itself was lacking any seasoning and required a hefty amount of salt on each cut of meat. (And I am salt sensitive, so that should tell you something) It was also difficult to both cut into and to chew. The steak could have also had some char but didnt. I cook better steaks myself and im not a chef by any standard, nor do I have the facilities that a restaurant does. The fries were okay and I didnt touch the bread, but it did look good. The whiskey sour was watery. Theyre supposed to knock you on your a* so you crave another one. LoLThe ambiance was okay. More akin to a TGI Fridays than say a Gallaghers. The female staff were all extremely good-looking and im a 30 year old athlete myself. If you want to go out and enjoy a steak but on a budget, this is a solid choice.“
“My favorite NyC steak house— food is always excellent, service was top notch. We had the 18 ounce NY strip and it was prepared perfectly. Side of hash browns — best on the planet ! And the iceberg wedge chopped up and shared for 2 — really great meal.“
“For nearly two decades, I've frequented this establishment, finding it to be the epitome of excellence among New York City's myriad dining options. From the impeccable service to the tantalizing array of dishes, every aspect of the dining experience here surpasses expectations, making it an enduring favorite of mine.“
“There was an hour long wait but truly the wait was worth it!! The bar staff were incredible and made the wait feel a little shorter ;). The food was great, the steak was cooked to perfection and the fries were incredible. The sauce was salty and the waitress told us to get it on the side and it was so good! The people there were great and such a great staple, the ambiance was fabulous! Can't wait to come back!!!“
“Looking for an incredible steakhouse? Stop right here and get yourself over to Strip House. The steaks were absolutely perfect and easily one of the best steakhouses out there. They start you off with these warm, soft pretzel rolls with the softest butter that melts in your mouth. Hard to resist not ordering more.I ordered the filet mignon au poivre and they nailed it. I love the charred salt and pepper seasoning on top and combined with the sauce, it was outstanding.Do NOT skip out on the sides. There are sooo many to choose from and they’re all so delicious. Number one is the whipped potato puree, which is so perfectly buttery. Also get the Mac and cheese and the black truffle creamed spinach. Finally, we ended the night with their classic 24 layer chocolate cake. We split one slice with 4 people and we were STUFFED.Can’t wait to come back here for more!!“
“Came with my fiancée for a pre birthday dinner before a Ranger game. Staff food ambience on point!! Filet mignon cooked perfectly (and I am picky). Jerry our waiter was on his game. Knows also how to have fun with his guests. 5 out 5 for us!“
“Excellent experience here! From welcoming us to our table through dessert, great attentive service. Cocktails were well made and their red sangria is always a great idea! Try the Boulevardie Negoni. Packs a slight punch and refreshing. Our appetizers were the grilled octopus and shrimp in garlic sauce - both excellent! For dinner, I had a huge swordfish steak, lightly blackened and grilled perfectly. My wife had the stuffed lobster, and our friends had paella - loaded with seafood. Dessert choices were several cake selections, chocolate mousse and flan. Finished off with Segovia coffee (adds "43" Quarenta y Tres cordial liquor) and all was great! Many thanks to Manny and the staff at Segovia Steak and Seafood!“
“Meet the meat is an amazing place for a delicious dinner. You could be here for an hour or hours. The food here is all delicious and delectable. Meet the meat has a wonderful ambience and fun amazing service I 110% recommend this place the hashbrowns are amaze balls.“
“We had an amazing time and dinner was just perfect, the steak are just yummy. Make sure you have enough $$ before going here cause it’s pretty expensive but you’ll enjoy the food. Service was amazing and atmosphere very cosy.Recommended.“
“Last night I attended blt prime and not only was the service amazing but so was the prime rib . Prices were on the high side but our server made the effort to make a friends birthday special. Food tastes fresh and I was very happy with the establishment .“
“Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Had the $40 lunch special and so did my wife. Both steaks cooked to perfection. Probably the BEST steak I've ever eaten. We do a travel and food channel on YouTube from our home in London and will certainly recommend this outstanding establishment on the East side of Manhattan. Definitely 10/10.“
“Amazing dinner at DK. The mushroom soup was so savory. The striped bass was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were wonderful. Excellent peanut butter chocolate cake, too. Service was outstanding and prices most reasonable. Look forward to returning.“
“The most outstanding catering that I've ever ordered. You wouldn't think to go to a steakhouse for Rigatoni Bolognese and eggplant parmigiana but MAN! 354's version was next level. Every item that I ordered for my team was a 10 out of 10. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, but I'm telling you - the catering is where it's at! Great job 354. ??????????“
“The chase: Excellent old-school cozy neighborhood chop house, with red leather booths and a classic bar that serves artfully mixed classic cocktails. Donohue's is a portal to the past, a comfortable neighborhood joint, what used to be called a red booth steak and chop house. Though I had not been here in over 20 years (has it really been that long?), Donohue's has always been my touchstone for the classic red booth atmosphere and cuisine. "The Daily Grill" chain scratched this itch from time to time, as did Beverly Hill's "Grill in the Alley," but last night I decided to go crosstown and go back to the mothership. Though it is true that one cannot go back home again, one can certainly go back to the same neighborhood. The drinks were exemplars of the archetype. My beautiful dining companion had a gin martini (not a fake vodka version), and I had a Manhattan (made with bourbon, not rye... yeah, I'm a hypocrite); both drinks were beyond excellent, dare I say sublime? These are not heavy pours, they are balanced and not overpowering, allowing your tastebuds to do their work. We eschewed appetizers. I had the London Broil. My companion the hamburger. The hamburger with cheese (American) -- excellent! Ordered medium, each bite was better than the last. Even the bun was great. The london broil: it was London Broil, the poor man's cut, what used to be served as the steak at IHOP (it's true). The mushroom gravy was a bit heavy handed, but you get what you order and it was a good example of the presentation and serving of such a dish. The creamed spinach was excellent and did not rely on bacon bits to do any of the lifting. Service was friendly and appropriately non-intrusive. The bar still had the Christmas lights up in mis February... which I love. I think dark bars need to have Christmas lights up all year. The snowmen in the window... the jury is out. The not so great: The bread was below par, the quality of a pedestrian soft-crusted store-bought baguette. The butter, however, was a good temperature for spreading without being melted. That said, I was hoping for a grilled sourdough. The baked potato was nice and soft on the inside, but so was the skin and I prefer a crunch thicker skin. The menu is pretty thin and prices are high. You can't go home again, but you can go back to Donohue's to get a solid drink, the burger and the creamed spinach. Maybe the salmon. I'll report back.“
“Place is an absolute diamond in the rough. The food was fantastic, and extremely reasonably priced. Went with 4 friends, had almost every appetizer (which we left nothing behind). Unlike most steakhouses, this place has a more relaxed vibe (ok to wear a hoodie and be comfortable), and also delivered better steaks than I've had a white glove establishments. 1000% recommend, this type of place is not easy to find anymore and needs to be visited. Also met Kathie and Glenn (siblings), who were extremely hospitable and truly know how to show customer appreciation. Will be going back, and bringing more folks to experience with me for sure!“
“Had a great time at this restaurant , came in with a few friends and really enjoyed the fresh food and the atmosphere my server Sarah was wonderful she made the experience even better thank you for being very professional and niceThank you I will definitely be “
