“Went back to Doghouse after a long hiatus and was pleasantly surprised that nothing changed except the live Jazz music on Thursday nights! Very cool! Food was the usual good greasy type except HUGE portions! My cheesesteak was large and tasty as well as my girl's grilled chicken sandwich... def get your moneys worth! Service was spotty but acceptable but then again it's a hometown pub, what do you expect? Stop in on Thursday nights for the live Jazz, saves a trip into the city!!“

Booths are private and tables large enough for all the food you're going to eat. Try the appetizer artichoke hearts oreganata. Perfect and oh so tasty. Portions are generous and we always take some home for later enjoyment.Francos has a separate pizzeria where you can order to go or eat in. Pizza is perfect. “Tommy Fox's Public House in Bergenfield, New Jersey is a cool bar that has that cool Irish pub feel to it. The service was friendly and the customers were pretty friendly here, as well. I did not try any of the food, but it looked to be what you would expect from a bar. This is definitely a cool.place to gather with some friends and overall, I would recommend here.“

The waitress Melissa was very friendly and helpful. The vibes were as if I were at a rock bar without the drunkards. And the food was incredible! “Tucked away behind the Main Street we stumbled upon this excellent restaurant. We ordered Spring rolls and a Japanese thingy for starter, both were really good. For mains it was Beef and Ginger and Prawn Fried Rice, again both excellent. So for 2 starters, 2 mains and 4 drinks it came to 58 euros, even excellenter ?…music choice was a bit different in that it was dance oriented but wasn’t out of place. We have booked again and would obviously recommend ?“

Frankie saw that we were interested in the building because the restaurant is built within an old bank with some Jersey history. So he gave us a little tour and was super hospitable. Our waiter was also excellent and professional. My table ordered burrata, garganelli vodka, sunday sauce, octopus, & salmon, and everyone was happy with their dish. The food, hospitality, ambience, staff, and service make for a great spot for dinner dates, celebration, or just a good time! Personal preference - I loved seeing the open concept kitchen in the back and the brick oven. It adds to the experience of dining and the kitchen doesn't seem so far away. “We ate here for the first time on Mother's Day and luckily we were able to order off the regular menu which had something for everyone. Our server did a great job waiting on our table as well as several other large parties so we never felt neglected. We ordered wine, appetizers, and main courses. All of our guests said their appetizers and entrees were great especially the fish/seafood dishes with one exception. A member of our party ordered a scallop/shrimp special which arrived with only 2 shrimp and 2 scallops on the plate with pasta for $39. It was a tasty dish but they could have at least given 3 shrimp and 3 scallops. Appy's worth mentioning: baked clams, grilled octopus, shishito peppers. Outstanding entrees: halibut and sea bass specials, and seafood pasta. We didn't stay for dessert as we planned on having that at home. This was a good find to try out on a less busy night - we will definitely be back.“

“There's an axiom that you get what you pay for. It isn't always true. But in Grissini's it is. It is pricey but service is impeccable. Very attentive without being overbearing. Salads are perfectly dressed, seasoned and fresh. My special of morels with fettuccine in a veal stock with a touch of vermouth was out of this world. My wife's vegan and her vegetables in garlic and olive oil were perfect. And entrees, as always, were served hot. Eating here is a true dining experience.“
