“Went back to Doghouse after a long hiatus and was pleasantly surprised that nothing changed except the live Jazz music on Thursday nights! Very cool! Food was the usual good greasy type except HUGE portions! My cheesesteak was large and tasty as well as my girl's grilled chicken sandwich... def get your moneys worth! Service was spotty but acceptable but then again it's a hometown pub, what do you expect? Stop in on Thursday nights for the live Jazz, saves a trip into the city!!“

“I was once, several years ago (& prepandemic) down in Florida somewhere, at a Seasons 52 for dinner with friends we were visiting. I remember way back then, being impressed with seasonal vegetables, reasonably priced and reasonably sized portions. My lunch in NJ with two friends was just as good! Apparently the menu changes seasonally, hence the name. One friend had the caprese sandwich, the other had the crabcake sandwich, and I had the chicken and farro salad. All 3 were beautifully presented, well prepared, and tasty. Mine was a variety of greens, a small scoop of perfectly cooked farro, watermelon radish slices, very pretty and delicious. Normally we wouldn't have had dessert, but my friends asked our kind server, Cartier, for the dessert array. I thought it was an odd way to ask for a dessert menu...but in a few minutes, he returned with a spiral rack that held several small dishes. He described each one lovingly, but started by telling us that those weren't real, so he could touch them to demonstrate what was in each one. Three of us ordered, each a different kind! My friend told Cartier that he gave the best presentation of any time they'd been there! So I rarely take food photos in restaurants but I had to take our 3 mini desserts! And I would come here again.“

“Step into déjà vu restaurant in Garfield New Jersey and enjoy the allure of Balkan food. I started off with some great appetizers and I highly recommend the melted cheese dip. I really enjoyed the chicken rolls wrapped in bacon and stuff with provolone cheese. Don’t skip out on dessert, then Nutella and banana crêpes are homemade and a must try. I also enjoyed a very delicious strawberry margarita. The staff was very attentive, and the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. The spot is great for a girls night out, date night, a family dinner. We had a meeting with the owner who was very nice and helpful towards me and my partners. The food was delicious (highly recommended penne w/ pesto) and the restaurant always has a great environment. “This place is WONDERFUL. I came here with my son after spending the afternoon at Urban Air Adventure Park. We got two half box orders of boneless thighs (original crispy and soy garlic/sweet & spicy), fries, and water. The chicken took about 15-20 minutes to cook, but it was well worth the wait. My son (the pickiest eater in the world) LOVED the boneless thighs, and even the French fries. I thought everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The flavors were all fantastic, with the soy garlic being my favorite. The fries were also some of the best fries I've ever had. Super crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The food also came with Cole slaw which was DELICIOUS, and I say this as someone who normally strays away from Cole slaw.Customer service was excellent. The woman at the front was very friendly and clear with describing the food. Their presentation was top notch also. The food was packaged beautifully and even the bag it came in was just really well designed. It was like opening a holiday gift of delicious food. I would highly recommend paying this place a visit, although you'll probably have to do take out since they have limited seating. That's probably the only downside I can think of, but they still deserve 5 stars overall“

The food, service, cleanliness, immaculate bathroom, ambience all add up to a truly 5 star experience! I just happened to stumble upon it while my car was being repaired and can’t wait to go again. On this trip I had the French toast with freshly squeezed orange juice. I realized half way through I didn’t photograph the meal (which was out of this world) is why it’s half eaten! “Our server was not interested in serving us to the level she should have. Normally the servers are very personable. Not this time. When you are asked if you want your martini served in a martini glass that's a problem. I asked for stuffed olives and was served plain. She corrected it later after I asked. I blame training on that. The manager was fantastic! Very attentive and personable. We have dined there many times and food is always terrific. It was nice to hear live music tonight. Please tell your servers NOT to stack plates. It's rude and disgusting. You're not a diner.“

“I've lived in Ridgewood for over 10 years and have been past this place many times and kept saying that I would stop and grab a burger here. Last night my fiancée and I finally dined in. The food was excellent. The burgers were tasty, especially top with their secret sauce and the sweet potato fries were delicious, with a side of garlic aioli dipping sauce. The atmosphere reminded me of being in a bar but with a hint of the calmness of a winter cabin in the woods. What made our experience top notch was the service. Kim was our server and she made our first time very warm and welcoming as well as accommodating. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to chow down on nice big, juicy burger or even a healthy salad.“
