“Went back to Doghouse after a long hiatus and was pleasantly surprised that nothing changed except the live Jazz music on Thursday nights! Very cool! Food was the usual good greasy type except HUGE portions! My cheesesteak was large and tasty as well as my girl's grilled chicken sandwich... def get your moneys worth! Service was spotty but acceptable but then again it's a hometown pub, what do you expect? Stop in on Thursday nights for the live Jazz, saves a trip into the city!!“

“Step into déjà vu restaurant in Garfield New Jersey and enjoy the allure of Balkan food. I started off with some great appetizers and I highly recommend the melted cheese dip. I really enjoyed the chicken rolls wrapped in bacon and stuff with provolone cheese. Don’t skip out on dessert, then Nutella and banana crêpes are homemade and a must try. I also enjoyed a very delicious strawberry margarita. The staff was very attentive, and the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. The spot is great for a girls night out, date night, a family dinner. Our orders included birria tacos and Mexican Elote from La Chula Taqueria, a burger with fries from Harlem Public, and a Dominican pizza from the renowned Wahizza. The food surpassed our expectations; my son particularly enjoyed the birria tacos and Mexican Elote. Personally, I found nostalgia in the Dominican Pizza, reminiscent of my childhood in the Dominican Republic. Additionally, my wife indulged in a frozen margarita from the bar, thoroughly relishing it. Overall, our dining experience exceeded expectations, and we're eager to return and explore more culinary delights.“

“Came here while visiting my daughter & grandson only because I caught it off an Instagram post a week earlier & saw they had wings & offered over 160 different sauces !!! Too good to be true right? Nope this little bar delivered!! @ first I thought it was a bit expensive @ 8 wings for $14 , but after asking a few questions we realized we can split the 8 piece in 2 & get 2 different sauces 4&4 , so we got 3 orders with 6 flavors & we were all very satisfied. She greeted me with a smile (which doesn’t come easy these days), introduced herself and gave me my beer.I’d say within 15 minutes of chatting with Nicole, my demeanor changed..she had me laughing my butt off! “Came out for a friend's 30th birthday and had the BEST time. The space is trendy and has so much to offer! We played golf, sang Karaoke (our absolute favorite), and had delicious and gorgeous (so, so ascetically pleasing) drinks made by James. Service was top notch. Every single staff member was attentive and kind. James is by far a master cocktail maker. His drinks were spot on and each and every time he delivered with so much enthusiasm. He was friendly and funny! I'm looking forward to my next experience at 9 degrees and plan to enjoy food too this time. I couldn't recommend this bar/restaurant more. “This is only a review based on multiple deliveries through Uber eats. I really hope the owner responds to this review because, even though we order from Underdog often and like their food, we have a huge gripe with their cheeseburger sliders. But before I get there, what I do like about the place: they're really fast, prices are reasonable, the wings are great, and the portions are fair. We've tried a variety of items, including the filet mignon, and found them all to be delicious.Now about the sliders. These cheeseburger sliders are supposed to come with pickles, onions and cheese, and no matter how many times we order them, they are always screwed up. They almost never come with pickles or onions. And if we give them instructions when getting multiple orders of sliders to leave off the cheese on one order, they will leave it off on both orders. They never follow instructions. Just the other evening, for example, we again ordered the sliders, with no cheese. But, they were delivered with no cheese, no pickles and no onions. So we basically just got plain bare burgers. So disappointing, can you please work with your kitchen to make the sliders correctly and the order notes? It's really disappointing to keep ordering them and not have them prepared correctly.“

“We went to the 101 Pub to watch a Knicks game and the bartender was extremely accommodating. Tim put the game on for us on the TV in front of us. They have many TVs at the bar. We ordered some spicy chicken tenders which were delicious! Tim kept replacing my beer as soon as I was done. Very chill bar for both families and just groups of friends.“

A Grateful Dead tribute band was playing and the bar, tables and dance floor was filled with dead heads singing, dancing and enjoying the music. It was quick, bartender was friendly.However, back at the table, It took about 20 minutes of trying to get the attention of the server. When she finally came over she was not friendly, did not smile and was not at all engaging. She put the menus on the table and walked away. About 15 minutes passed before she came back (good thing we got our own drinks at the bar)She efficiently took the order, still no smile and tbh, a bit of an attitude,We asked for another drink and she said, since you ordered your drinks from the bar that's where your check isthen walked away. 20 minutes pass and a young man brought our food. The food was ok. All 3 of us got wings.Both servers avoided our table after that. I had to go to the bar to ask for to-go containersI understand (as a former server) if the tab is started in one spot, how you would think we wouldn't tip BOTH bar and floor, but you NEVER KNOW who you're servingAll 3 in our party are former food service industryWe planned on tipping the floor and bar...WELL.The attitude of the young lady was unnecessary and unwarranted.We probably wouldn't go back because of it.“

“On September 23, 2023 we held a birthday party for my mother to celebrate her 90th birthday. We chose to have the celebration at the Fair Lawn Athletic Club for several reasons. In 1998 we celebrated my parents 40th wedding anniversary at the FLAC. In October 2022 we held a repast for my father at the FLAC, and as mentioned above, we just recently had a celebration for my mother at the FLAC with almost 100 friends and family in attendance .The reason we choose the FLAC is because Mike and Maura Campanile do an Excellent job with the events at the FLAC. They provide great service, great food, great communication in the time leading up to, as well during the event , and of course the bar serves up Great drinks!There are many places you can obviously choose to have events and celebrations at. We feel very comfortable knowing that Mike and Maura will ensure the event runs smoothly with their staff, providing great service and support.I would highly recommend the FLAC for any of your events.“
