“I tried the duck noodles here and I'd say I wasn't as hyped as the other reviews here about it, but nonetheless, it was worth the experience. I tried a cocktail that had Thai herbs and pomegranate (don't remember the name). All cocktails seemed novel and worth trying.“
“Loved my entire meal! We ordered the crying tiger (highly recommend), the crispy fries whole branzino with chu Chee curry, and the chicken wings. I cannot stress enough how truly tasty every dish was. Cannot wait to come back with more friends so we can try more dishes because I cannot NOT reorder these dishes.“
“Genuine spicy Southern Thai food - they don't tone it down for westerners. Some dishes have an American/fusion twist like steak krapao but they were still really good. The sator (stink bean) with prawn was good and authentic! Service was friendly and although most of the reviews are 5* because they offer you a discount for leaving one, mine is genuine and I'm writing it after my visit...“
“The menu is the most delicious and authentic of Thai menus out there. I mean the sausages are all HOMEMADE! The best food by the best chef, Chuck. He is already a famous private chef and now you will be spoiled any day of the week! Just go and see for yourself or get delivery!“
“Stopped by a few weeks after opening. The food was excellent. Me and my boys ordered a little bit of everything. Drunken noodle was great. Duck was great. Drinks were nice looking but I don't remember what I had so, I'll try it again. Wasn't super enthused on that front but definitely a fire spot to check out. Date night gem .“
“Excellent Thai cuisine near Times Square. Specialties from all parts of Thailand are offered, very professional service with extensive advice. Cocktails are also recommended. If you like Thai cuisine, this is the place for you. ?Dietary restrictions: Allergies are taken into account“
“Really love their service. Staff are really nice. Foods are delicious. Had a fantastic dining experience at this Thai restaurant! The Tom Yum soup was bursting with flavor, and the Massaman Curry was rich and comforting. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Will definitely be coming back“
“All I have to say is if you're not eating at this place, you're missing out. Delicious and unique flavors on everything from the appetizers & entrees to the cocktails. The service is A++ and they're super attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is cozy with good music. Went here for lunch and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable and yummy meal!“
“Finally tried Sala Thai for the first time, food was good. The mango sticky rice was amazing!! Only critique is that service was almost nonexistent. Immediately after getting the dessert we were given the bill and 5 minutes later the waiter abruptly stated to us “can you pay the bill? I am done with my shift.” It caught my friend and I off guard. I’d return for the food, maybe just for takeout.“
“Royal Pad Thai is very delicious! Not too sour or spicy. There are very special egg pancakes and shrimps.MOO-OBB NAM PUAUNG is seasoned grilled pork chop, perfect for flavor! ! delicious! !Kao Tang Na Tung appetizer, rice pancakes with meat sauce on top, surprisingly delicious! !Red curry crispy duck, coconut milk-flavored duck, super delicious“
“Bangkok Supper Club is undeniably the best Thai restaurant in NYC. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a cozy and warm atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The host's warm welcome adds to the inviting ambiance, making you feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food--it's simply outstanding. I highly recommend trying the Lin Yang (beef tongue) grilled charcoal, a dish that bursts with flavor and tenderness. Another must-try is the octopus with fried onion, a delightful combination of textures and tastes that leave a lasting impression. What truly sets Bangkok Supper Club apart, though, is the exceptional service. I can confidently say it's the best I've ever experienced. The servers Pat are attentive, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary. Overall, Bangkok Supper Club is a gem in NYC's culinary scene, offering not just incredible food but also a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service that make every visit a delight.“
“The ambiance here is so warm, bright, and inviting! The staff here is very friendly and attentive. The food here is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced too compared to other Thai spots. This place is large enough for small to large groups; great for birthday dinners with a lot of people.“
“Nestled in the lively West Side, Obao is like that cool friend who knows all the culinary secrets. The beef pho? It's like a flavor explosion, but I could've gone for an extra sprinkle of bean sprouts for that extra crunch. And don't get me started on the Thai tea—it's like a sweet nostalgia trip, just a heads-up, ask for less milk if you're not big on the sweetness. My friend went for the udon noodles with shrimp, and man, it was like a savory punch in the taste buds, a bit like when two pop culture icons collided in that viral meme.To top it off, Obao surprised us with two cocktails as a thank-you for our review. They were like little works of art, not just in taste but in presentation too. Obao isn't just about food; it's about creating experiences that make you want to come back for more.“
“Quaint little spot serving authentic Thai cuisine. Rode 70 miles from Dyker Heights & decided to grab an evening bite & drink.Had the Khao Soi Chiang Mai as main dish. Coconut shrimp is phenomenal appetizer. The hot sake went well with the curry flavors. I would have gotten the bottled beer but $8 is such a waste, Sake it is.Indoor is tight & cozy. Outdoor is a bit much traffic. Would return again to try the duck & other curry flavors ??“
“This tiny hole in the wall Thai restaurant, serves outstanding, authentic Thai dishes at an insanely low cost. It’s even beer or wine BYOB. With so many outstanding Thai restaurants in the neighborhood what separates this one from others is flavor. Not only is the food prepared extremely well but the flavor of the dishes stands out! Unless you get there very early, you’ll have to wait to get a dinner table. No disappointments. Enjoy ?“
“We stopped by for brunch at peak hours without a reservation and the wait was only 30 min for 4 people. First of all, the Thai Tea French Toast ($15) is an absolute MUST HAVE. It was a unanimous favorite- the salted condensed milk and Thai Tea butter are heavenly. The stuffed cabbage ($25) was also a great choice because of the sauce. The phat see ew and phat Thai ($25 for beef, $24 for chicken) were solid choices, but I had expected a larger portion for that price. The disco fries ($13) and roti ($12) were okay. For drinks, we shared a punch bowl, which was STRONG and definitely enough for 4-6 people. Some dishes had a long wait and I did think the cost was high for the sizes, but I would still recommend coming at least for the French toast!“
“This place is such a gem. I went with friends but it would also be a great first date spots with only 30 seats (plus another 8 at the bar) - started with the Kanom Jeeb Pak and Kanom Jeeb dumplings which were both delicious and my friends and I shared the rib eye which was unbelievably flavorful and cooked to perfection along with the pad thai (which they made veggie for my friend who doesn’t eat meat) and the pad see ew. The desserts can’t be missed (we tried all three) and the service was standout. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: They were able to adapt dishes to make them vegetarian and also had a number of veggie options“
“Some of the best massaman curry I've ever had! The cocktails were also fantastic, and the restaurant space itself was really lovely with lots of plants. The menu is sophisticated and everything looked delicious. Would definitely come back.“
“Have been here multiple times and love the food, great flavors and options. The service is very good and the staff is kind. They serve customers with a smile even at their busiest hour where the wait is 1.5 hours. Don’t miss Roti Canai here. It is delicious!Vegetarian options: Roti CanaiVeg fried rice with multiple flavors/optionsPad ThaiNoodlesDumplingsCurry Puff“
“Authentic flavors and so delicious. The pad Thai was the perfect amount of sauce and so flavorful. I loved it!!!! Noodles were soft n chewy at the same time. Fresh crunchy vegetables. Clean ambiance and very friendly man working here!! Absolutely amazing and great prices.“
“The food at Somtum Der was really good. My favorite dish was the Larb Moo salad, which was flavorful and paired nicely with a side of white rice. I also had the Sa Poak Kai Tod Der, which was also good. I thought the chicken could have had more flavor on its own but it was great paired with the sauce it came with. Their menu has a really good lunch special deal that I think would definitely be worth coming back to try. Our server was great and very attentive. We sat in the booths in the back which were a bit snug but the overall ambiance was nice.“
“The food was delicious!!!! A friend told me that it would be very spicy, but I didn’t find it to be so. (Definitely had a zip to it but not too extreme) Service was attentive and pleasant. The only downside was the seating. The chairs were more like elementary school short stools. Quite uncomfortable, but I’d definitely go back just for the food!“
“One of my favorite cheap eats in Manhattan. I cannot explain how much I love this place. You go up to the counter to order and the food is ready within 5 minutes and served directly to your small table. And even though the restaurant itself is tiny, there always seems to be an open seat as people eat and leave very quickly. I ordered the Fried Chicken Rice and it was delicious!! Although there isn't a lot of chicken, the fried bits are fried to perfection as it isn't too oily and full of flavor. I especially liked dipping it into the sour and spicy sauce which elevated the chicken. The rice is also to die for as it is seeped with chicken broth, you can just eat this alone without anything else. Also, the soup is incredible as I love how much white pepper they put into the broth, the flavors are so incredibly intense. I love ME Chicken Rice. Probably top 10 favorite eats in NYC!“
“The ambience and food are amazing and delicious! The service isn’t special, our waiter was nice and we received the food promptly. Did I know his name? No. However, that didn’t upset me because this place is PERFECT for a date or chilling with friends. Would definitely recommend“
“Decent Thai spot in Hells Kitchen. I enjoyed the small intimate atmosphere and service was friendly. Food wise it was ok but nothing really stood out and the flavors didn’t really pop as much I’d hoped they would based on some of the other reviews on here.“
“We dined in as a group of five and shared four main dishes — the Lobster Pad Thai and Brussel sprouts were phenomenal! I also ordered the Sway Wayla cocktail which was amazing! The restaurant is quite cosy and small but there are lots of coat hangers around.“
“Order on the kiosk. Wait for your number to be called. Chicken cooked nicely. Ginger rice is ok. The soup on the side is a win win. Most side soups are boring. This soup taste fresh and nicely seasoned. The side spicy tamarind sauce for me is the best part!! Been here a few times. Mix chicken rice for $10.“
“I am Dutch, so I have been spoiled with a lot of good Indonesian food back home. This restaurant is authentic, very good food. I recommend the place. The bathrooms are dirty though. Those should be cleaned many times a day ( don’t you know?)“
“If you are craving for chicken, there is no place better than three roosters. I know you all had chicken before unless you’re a vegan, this is the best chicken I ever had in my life and that is saying a lot. Good amount of chicken with rices as they aren’t stingy with the meat. Price is a a bit pricy but that is all midtown pricing these days. I’ve had this place 3 times this week alone and I’m still loving it. If you’re around midtown and craving chicken and rice, you can’t go wrong.“
“Delicious Thai food. Classic dishes. Vegan. Lovely Ms May Kaidee cooks your food!! She is a cookbook author, chef, dancer, noted restaurateur in Thailand. Interior is decorated with Thai symbols. Great food. I had noodles and vegetables with an amazing sauce. Mango desert with coconut sauce and yummy rice, fantastic!!! Joe might be your waiter and is kind and professional. Such a wonderful place!!!“
“Definitely not your average Thai restaurant. The whole restaurant feels like a one-man passion project, and I mean that in the most earnest way. Don't go in expecting the dishes to be whipped up instantly, but the creative food and friendly service is absolutely worth the wait.“
“The basil chicken over rice was simply amazing. The pad see ew was okay. It lacked a bit of flavor and dimension that I often find at other Thai restaurants. However, the prices are great. The portions are a bit small; so it would be nice if they had optional larger sizes for a slightly higher price?I’d certainly recommend giving Terra Thai a visit. There’s not much indoor seating besides a small makeshift counter with stools. They are definitely a takeout place. The staff and owner is very friendly. I’m sure I’ll be back for the basil chicken over rice.“
“A tiny 5 table restaurant with a quaint calming ambiance. Their spice levels are lesser than hole in the wall thai restaurants. So you might want to up the spice if that’s what you’re expecting. The papaya salad is super refreshing - good palate cleanser for the oil rich food too. Tried drunken noodles, tom yum fried rice, masaman curry - all great.“
“Food is good and service is great. The pork adobo (4/5) was the best thing I ate here - the pork was well cooked and had excellent flavor with the broth. The sigsig (4/5) was okay but at times difficult to eat with the very chewy bits. The papaya salad (4/5) was solid. Overall great food and nice service.“
“Amazing food, awesome staff. Stopped here on the way to Billy's Midway (which is also an amazing place) for some dinner with a friend. We were both amazed by the quality of the food, and how nice the staff was. We will definitely be back when in the area.“
“I am southeast asian (Cambodian), so I was very pleased to find this hidden gem in Chinatown on Mott St! The food is tasty and full of flavor, and the portion is great! I am very picky with my asian food, so when I say I approve, I approve! Come give it a try!!“
“Big shout out to Jae (hope I'm spelling it right) and her quick, kind reaction to a delivery driver's mistake. After a delivery-person went rogue and left our food somewhere we couldn't trace, we were left without food at a time when all other places had closed. Jae made things right and remade some great food, and we really appreciate how kind the gesture was. Food was amazing too.“
“This is a 2nd floor Japanese-Thai speakeasy in Alphabet City where the food menu leans toward Japan while the drinks are Thai-inspired with the menu designed by veteran NYC bartender and Phetchaboon native Sayparn. Her and her partners opened 11 Tigers in 2022 (year of the tiger which symbolizes success). The staff do an excellent job of mixing food and entertainment.“
“Delicious and gluten-free! As a vegan, it can be challenging to find a restaurant that offers gluten-free options. Fortunately, Chakra provides a wide range of delicious dishes that cater to individuals who must avoid gluten. The menu is diverse, and the sauces are incredibly flavorful, while still staying true to traditional Thai tastes. Furthermore, the portion sizes are generous, and the service is exceptional! I highly recommend this restaurant!“
“Went there with 2 kids who were craving for real asian food after 2 weeks travelling around the US. Thought they would cry of joy upon finding out the place serves Milo Dinosaur, Bandung, pineapple fried rice, roti canai etc. :)) Food was great, very authentic. Warm and efficient service. Well done and thank you.“
“Would give 6 stars if possible. Great restaurant for vegetarians/vegans as they make all of their delicious dishes without fish sauce. Waiters were very courteous and never tried to rush our experience. The restaurant is decorated to make the Thai experience as authentic as possible. Celebrated a birthday there and the staff not only allowed us to bring a cake but they also cooled the cake in their fridge and presented it with candles and birthday music as well. It was a wonderful experience and I am excited to visit Charm Thai Cuisine again!Vegetarian options: Food can be made without egg as well“
“They have a happy hour menu every day of the week. We were here on a Sunday and everything we ate came from the happy hour menu which made it really affordable. We got a mix of rolls, fried rice and a couple of starters and they were all great. The squid tentacles was my favorite dish. It's small but comfortable and there is outdoor seating as well. I would definitely eat there again!“
“this was so so good! they have vegan options and really good drinks. the prices are pretty good and the portions are big. my friends and i had a good time :) we ordered their coconut shrimp as an appetizer and it was delicious! i highly recommend.“
“The place is so cute, the interior makes you feel like you’re on a little tropical vacation. The food was so good! We got the pad Thai with skirt steak, green curry with duck. The steak was perfectly medium rare and duck was so tender with crispy skin. They have a lot of drink options as well and they were so worth it during happy hour. Highly recommend!“
“SUCH A NICE STAFF SERVING DIVINE FRESH FOODBOTH THE YOUNG BOY AND GIRL GREETED ME SO NICELY, MADE ME TASTE THE SOUPS BEFORE DECIDINGVERY SIMPLE SEATING ARRANGMENT, BUT NICE CLEAN PLACE AND ONE OF THE BEST THAI CURRIES IN NEW YORKALSO VERY AFFORDABLE“
“LOVEEE love mama! The staff is so friendly and the food is absolutely delicious and so authentic. We got the Thai tea, the beef rendang, peanut dumplings, and basil chicken kra pao. Everything was 11/10. Couldn’t recommend more. Will be coming back weekly.“
“I've been walking past Imm Thai ever since it opened, telling myself one day I'll try it.. well, tonight I finally had the excuse! I swung by around 6:30 on a weeknight, and it was fairly quiet, allowing me my pick of tables. I was seated immediately and given a menu. All the options looked delicious, but I was craving a pad thai, which I paired with a glass of wine since it was happy hour. The portion was larger than I expected for the price, and the shrimp were prepared very well. I thought the glass noodles were a fun twist! Service was very friendly and attentive, and my meal was freshly made to order. Will definitely return the next time I have an opportunity!“
“I ordered take out during a recent visit to NYC. I eat vegan (mostly), so I asked them to veganize their pad see ew, and also got an order of their summer rolls. Both were AMAZING. I had been having some pretty mediocre food at a lot of purely vegan restaurants, and I'm so glad I branched out for this meal. I just wish they could make their curries vegan, as I'm sure they would be delicious, too.“
“Lovely all around. Server was lovely, team was very attentive. Felt welcome from when i made the reservation to checking in, and throughout the experience. Shared four dishes, all were super tasty and timing was very good. Had the tequila/coconut milk/aperol drink- was too tasty, definitely precariously easy to drink. Also, it was my mom’s birthday and they made it extra special. Thank you!!“
“I've been going to Red Bowl since it opened over ten years ago. It is still owned and operated by the same family. The food consistency has never faltered.Wheelchair accessibility: There are 4 handicapped reserved parking spots in the parking lot and a wheelchair ramp near the DMV main entrance.“
