The staff are always friendly and patient, and I love supporting a small business. Cash only, which is great for the customer and business. “The baked goods are SO FRESH we came in at 10 am and got the ham and egg, taro bun, pork bun, danish, and Vietnamese coffee. Everything was so tasty the pork buns and taro buns are the best thing!! Id have an idea of what you want before you go in, theres a lot of options and its a bit of a tight space that gets crowded easily. Pineapple bun isn’t filled I think fyi. Bring cash if you can its just easier and probably cheaper.“

“SO Good!! Lost Bread is a bakery and mill in Philadelphia. I found their table at the entrance to the Schuylkill River Park. The table is unassuming, yet filled with so much. They had Table Bread, Whole Grain Croissant, Deli Rye, Spelt Handpies, Milk Buns, Oat Bar, and Cranberry Bran Muffins. I opted for the Pretzel Shortbread Crisps, which are so yummy. They have lasted all week and I already can't wait for the next batch!“

“I was very confused when I 1st walked in what looked like an office building only to find Darnel's tucked away in the corner. What a pleasant surprise this place was. I came across them after they were on Good Morning America in a national competition for best breakfast sandwich. That's all I needed to hear to try it and I definitely wasn't disappointed. As you can see I couldn't even wait to bite into it before taking a pic! They even give you the option to order biscuits separately which I've don't on many occasions. MUST TRY!“

“This place is like a dream! Cannot say enough good things about this place. Firstly, the two women who own it are incredibly kind. I got a coffee and almond croissant, both were delicious! They hand stamp the logo on the cups and write cute inspirational messages on them by hand. They have tons of seating both tables for working and big comfy chairs for reading. I opted for the latter and camped out for 2 hrs. They didn't rush me out and were so sweet when I left.Overall, will definitely be making this a regular spot. Cannot recommend enough!“

“Lots of sweet potato goodies: pie, cheesecake, pound cake, cupcakes. There were a few other flavours of mini pie as well. I couldn’t decide between a the pie and the pound cake, but since the pies are only sold in packs of 2 and I was just buying for myself, I went for the pound cake, which I was very happy with. It wasn’t too sweet or oily (a lot of the desserts in the market looked like they were going to be both of these, so this was a relief to find), had a dense but tender texture, and mellow but very pleasant and natural sweet potato flavour. Even though it was a big piece of cake it didn’t sit too heavy with me. I was helped by one of the owners who was very kind.“

So if I may give the very nice owners a suggestion; choose for very good teas like Damman or Rishi (e.g.). Then also for tea drinkers (or mixed couple as we) they will be even more worth wile to go. And btw; one teabag is probably enough. They also have some pastries, pancakes and panini. Very nice interior with lovely background music. Very, very impressed by the quality of the beans as they made an excellent cup of coffee freshly ground in my chemex. Just as impressive as the coffee, however, was the customer service. I received a handwritten note from Mike and Edna thanking me for my order and explaining how they chose to include a sample pack of coffee beans based on the flavor profile of the ones in my order. I have ordered a lot of tea and coffee from different shops across the country and have never experienced such care and attention to detail. I highly recommend you check them out, and I’m looking forward to ordering more from them in the future.“

“I hosted my wife's surprise 40th birthday party at a restaurant near Chloe's Creme Puffs, right in Pitman. It worked out where I set up pickup an hour prior to the surprise. I ordered 50 chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, as well as a red velvet cake. They did an excellent job decorating everything to match. All the locals were surprised to find out Chloe's did more than just creme puffs. Cupcakes can be hit or miss, but the texture and icing were enjoyed by all. It all was delicious and we were all digging into the leftovers after the party. Thanks to Chloe's for making my wife's birthday special.“

“We were seated immediately upon arrival for our reservation. Water arrived within seconds and our server arrived shortly after the water. We made our drink selections and then were able to savor the wines for a few minutes. Our served arrived a few minutes after the wine was served and asked if we were ready to place our food order. My decided to split a Caesar salad, my wife ordered the jumbo sea scallops and I ordered the black grouper and crab “cigar”. The salad was a perfect starter for us and the entrees were superb. We finished our dining with the “avocado ice cream” desert that was a wonderful delight to finish with. Courtney, our server, took very good care of us without “hovering”. We look forward to returning!“

“We visited The Sweet Life at the recommendation of a friend to try the banana pudding. We ordered the regular banana pudding, salted caramel banana pudding, and a vegan cupcake. The puddings were to die for! The cake part of the cupcake was delicious but the frosting was very hard and had no flavor. The person at the counter was very nice and helpful, even though the shop was busy. I would still recommend this little shop for desserts :)“

The macarons are also very well done, with flavours that delights the soul. There’s nothing bad about this cafe to comment on. Note how they even wrapped the cruffin in a beautiful way to ensure it doesn’t topple in the paper bag and looks beautiful when you take it out.
