“This was a fun ice cream place with tasty treats! And the service was friendly and fun! Mrs. Sprinkles is so cutely decorated with a coloring station for kids, a collection of children's books for reading, and a handful of ice cream related toys. And ice cream decorations all around the walls! My kids really enjoyed their visit to Mrs. Sprinkles! The cost was very reasonable, too! Take it from this Professor, A+ all around.“
“Love this place. The donuts are made fresh and I usually get the mini glazed ones. The staff are college students and I love their drive with school, but also hustling to get through school. Cute, small shop with a nice artsy wall facing south.“
“4.5 stars I had been seeing a lot of chatter about Pink Pony from my boss and in the "ABQ Foodies" group on facebook. My first thought was that it was just simple soft serve, but it was so much more than that. The shop was around the corner from the main shopping center, so it was a little confusing to find at first. There is some seating inside and some benches outside, but as popular as this place was with seeing everyone come in and out, I think that should definitely be the main point of expansion. My mom got a root beer float and I the s'mores sundae (~$7). The marshmallows and toppings are all homemade (and the marshmallows come in several flavors). The sundae itself was a good size and topped with a gooey marshmallow. The brownie sundae also seemed to be a popular one. Love supporting local. 2024 #1“
“I visited Heidi's for the first time this afternoon due to a Yelp event. We got a flight (four mini scoops of various flavors which is great for folks that can't decide which flavor to get) with fresh waffle cone pieces sprinkled on top. All four flavors were delicious: the strawberry mint sorbet was crazy-fresh and light, the strawberry ice cream was tangy and creamy, the chocolate ice cream was deep and sweet and the adobe chocolate (chocolate with red chile marshmallows) was unique and indisputably New Mexican. This is couture ice cream! The waffle cone pieces were buttery and crunchy, the perfect complement. I also picked up a chocolate covered chocolate bar, a pint of cranberry strawberry sorbet and two containers of jam. I can't speak to the tastiness of these items, but it's good to know you can pick up some items to share with folks at home. I'm stoked to find a local jam dealer, and can't wait to crack open a jar (I got strawberry and blueberry). The lady behind the counter was very helpful, offering multiple tasters and even apologizing for the lack of take home accessories for the flight (they wrapped it all in Saran Wrap and it made it home in perfect condition). There's a gracious oversized porch for lingering with friends, and the entire property is smartly surrounded by an industrial black metal fence, bringing an upscale, country feel to an otherwise industrial block. We will definitely return for more. Thank you so much for some delicious fresh ice cream on a Sunday afternoon.“
“They were the best ice cream place ive been too. The customer service is amazing and Melissa was an amazing worker and she was very kind and sweet and helping. I had a crepa too and it was one of the best i ever had. I love coming here on artwalk, they are the best.“
“This place was pretty good. They had a good selection of flavors, although they were sold out of a few flavors. They have sugar free options and a range of options to mix them up. The store is nice with an interesting layout, but allows for you to walk through, see the flavors and taste of flavors. They do have gelato to go which is cool too.The store was pretty clean and the service was good.“
“Great dessert shop! A lot of variety on what you can get, and they all look delicious. I ended up getting ice cream this time and man did it hit the spot. Ice cream was rich, fluffy, and has a pretty great flavor profile. The ice cream came with a waffle cone partially dipped in chocolate. Their single size ice cream was generous in portion too, and it only cost about $5. Would recommend coming if you are ever in the area.“
“After nearly a year of living in ABQ, hubby and I decided to try this little ice cream shop right around the corner from our house. I am constantly in this shopping center, at the corner of McMahon and Unser and for some reason we've just never stopped... but we did today. I'm not a huge fan of the exterior. The windows are completely wrapped and you can't see inside and ultimately that's probably the reason we never stopped in... but boy do I wish we had sooner! Upon entering and crossing the threshold of the door I was immediately greeted by this intense smell of sweet goodness! The air was filled with most decadent scent of pure bliss and it took me a minute to begin looking around because I was just soaking up every sense I could! Although we were there for ice cream we took a stroll around the store that was filled with the cutest candies and treats! We were greeted by an employee at the ice cream freezer who was very friendly and eager to provide us samples! She explained that the ice cream was fresh made in store and that they have staples and rotating flavors. We ended up getting a slew of flavors... cherry, s'mores, mint chip, butter pecan and almond joy! Holy smokes! We were in ice cream heaven and overload all at once but had to try all of our faves! Every single flavor was delectable; creamy, smooth and the yummiest of flavors. The s'mores had this smoky flavor that worked perfectly but was something I'd never tasted in s'mores Ice Cream before! The smoky flavor was not too overpowering and the was perfect touch and amount to elevate the flavor! The almond joy was also incredible! Tasted just like almond joy. Everything was heavenly! We will definitely be stopping back thru again soon and I'm excited for the next round of seasonal flavors! The employee told me that they have a biscoff ice cream that comes around that is super popular; I can't wait to try it!!!“
“Large selection and great flavors of Paletas that you may customize with chocolate coatings and toppings. The selection of refrescas were also very good. The staff was friendly and eager to offer suggestions and samples of the refrescas. The store was clean and pleasant.“
“Amazing place a hiden gem in the city always friendly customer service, clean and affordable prices those who complain shouldnt go out or if you're trying to impress your lady and then back asking for a refund is lame (yes i am the girl behind you and witnesed this guy making trouble)shame on you!If you know places with free stuff stick on em but dont use google reviews just to damage the reputation of hard working people with false acusations from karens and kevins that feel entitled to demand free items smh????????“
“Olo is great. It's clean. Employees dish out the toppings room a plethora of options making it more sanitary than others which let customers do it. They have tons of options for most people and even as a vegan with Celiac's I always end up with a fun sundae ! Soft serve chocolate, vanilla and twist offered vegan .“
“We recently visited Neko Neko, and it was an absolute delight! The taiyaki cones were crispy, and the soft serve was incredibly creamy. The unique desserts were innovative and delicious, creating an enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly, and the overall ambiance made it a perfect place to take my family.“
“Went in for the first time this evening and it was well worth it. Fabian was so helpful, feeling valentines day coming up I ordered a strawberry paleta dipped in dark chocolate with almonds & fresh strawberries sprinkled on top. It was amazing & I tased the cucumber and lime aqua fresca....also amazing. Will definitely be back!!“
“my friends and i always go here for horchata but today the service was like no other. i walked in, guy filled up my gallon, and when he asked about my day i started blabbing about my friend's party and how it was a surprise and he gave me store credit for him. it was so sweet and unexpected :)“
“Crumbl is always a good experience when you pick up or order your cookies in store! The crowd is young and fun and the cookies are always consistent. I usually don’t go often unless I see a flavor I want on the app! The semi-sweet chocolate chunk is to die for with the salt on top. YUM!“
“Sweet neighborhood spot. Love the Bee Bite with butter toffee frozen custard. The staff is very friendly and easy going. They also take advantage of the ambiance on 4th street with the string lights; we really enjoyed the patio with all the other families who were taking in the summer evening. We will definitely be going again, a new favorite for us.“
“I love, love, love Mexican ice cream shops. You will find this shop in a small strip mall, with a decent sized private parking lot that it shares with the other businesses in the mall. They have an adequate dining area with television, and it is very clean. I arrived about 30 minutes before they closed, and they had closed the dining area. They have all of your Mexican ice cream favorites including agua frescas., mangonadas, yogurts, fruit bars, chocolate covered bananas, and cones with an exotic assortment of flavors to choose from. They also serve Dori-nachos and corn, banderillas and nachos.I had just eaten dinner and was looking for a quick treat, so I got a Strawberries and Cream with almonds on top. The staff was friendly enough and my treat was ready in less than 5 minutes. The treat was pretty good. The cream and strawberries were fresh. I wish I was able to eat it in the dining room, but I had to wait about 20 minutes or so until I got back to my hotel. Ohh well, it was still pretty fresh. This is a place that should surely get some consideration if you are looking for some Mexican treats.“
“We are long distance big fans of Chocolate Cartel. We have ordered many types of products for the last four years. Our last order was the first one that was incorrect in the four years. It was made right quickly and handled with grace and professionalism. I am so very grateful for the staff and chocolate makers. I appreciate the action as my diabetic husband depends on your 90 percent dark for a safe healthy sweet fix. So very grateful our cousins in Albuquerque introduced us to you!!!!“
“I live just down the road but would drive across the city for their product.I asked my friend to pick me up some half-and-half on her way to my house. I must have inadvertently said "cream" instead of "half-and-half" as it is for my coffee. Like most people, I just say "coffee with cream" instead of "coffee with half-and-half." Well, I didn't want to let a good gallon of cream go to waste so I mixed Rasband whole milk with Rasband cream (50-50) and OH MY GOD! I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!Their half-and-half is beyond reproach, but when I made my own half-and-half.... the flavor, the creaminess.... It's better than anything I ever imagined. I'm a big coffee-drinker and very finicky about my coffee. Premium brands only. So only good half-and-half goes in my coffee. Now I make all my own half-and-half with Rasband's cream and whole milk. I buy a gallon of each. I store them in my fridge separately (I don't mix both gallons right away) and make about 5-6 cups of mix at a time. It will take me just shy of 2 weeks to go through the gallon of cream and gallon of whole milk and neither go bad on me. The cream may separate a small bit, but that is normal. I just give it a real good shake and it's blended again. Please, don't go anywhere Rasband. I'll never be able to drink anything else in my coffee again as it would be a big step down in quality and flavor.Thank you!“
“I am very picky so this is a rare instance where I'll actually give a 5 stars. The place is very clean, the owners are very friendly and treat you with kindness. It's not a franchise hence they put more effort into things. I asked for corn In a cup and they seasoned it very well, it wasn't bland or lukewarm like at other establishments. If you are on the Westside and I-40 I recommend this place“
“Best Michoacana in Albuquerque My partner and I shared the Elote Chorreado. They let you choose what chips you can put in and we chose the lime hot cheetos. I also like how you can tell them how much Valentina you want. Didn't get pictures. We ended with paletas. He got coco I got pistachio. Both were bomb I always usually get the coco from here. I really liked the pistachio one this time. Workers are always super friendly. Love coming here.“
“The paleta was so delicious and the fruit fresh. The staff was amazing for such a young crew. They were respectful and helpful and even smiled! Kind of forgot what it was like. Good customer service is hard to find these days. Will definitely be back.“
“La Real Michoacana Paleteria Ice Cream Shop you are truly magnificent, I had a wonderful experience here today. The mood is really fun and the team is fantastic. Every thing was very flavorful and I can't wait to go back already. Workers are really charming and service is very quick. We will most definitely be back!“
“Delicious elote! Can’t wait to try more things. Their fresas con crema are good, but a little too watery. I think this is a NM thing though (it’s like this at the handful of places I’ve tried) cause Mexico and Texas make the crema thick!“
“What an awesome night we had! Me and my grandma came over after a very sad and stressful day, and Annabelle was so funny and sweet to us! It made our whole day! She gave us great recommendations for flavors and even told us some of her favorite add on a for each one seriously best ice cream!!“
“Had the mango ice cream roll. She put fresh mango on a frozen disc, diced it small, then poured fresh cream on it and spread it thinly around until it froze. Then she scraped it into rolls, topped with fresh mango and whipped cream. WOW was it good! Kiddo had tutti fruity version of the ice cream roll and loved it. The hubs had butter pecan ice cream and loved it too. Tasted homemade. Mine obviously was, as I watched it go from cream to ice cream right before my eyes! Ambiance is cheerful. Selena played in the background, which I loved! Can't wait to try the elotes, Mar y Tierra, and the paletas! A perfect summer treat! Service was excellent. Yum yum yum!!!“
“Both employees working Wednesday evening, 11/22/2023, were awesome. We received quick, friendly service. When I asked about the coffee used by the shop, I was given a full rundown of the local company they purchase from. It was really nice to get that complete of an answer to my question. It's getting rarer to find enthusiastic and knowledgeable employees. Hang on to those two.I also asked because the espresso was quite delicious. The ice cream was pretty darn good, too.“
“Moka Joe's Coffee is the perfect place to pick up a to-go meal or snack when you don't have time to sit and linger over a meal. It's super close to the Alvarado Transportation Center (ATC), which gives those traveling on the Rail Runner, Amtrak, or Greyhound to get something for the next part of their journey across the region, state, or country. They're prices are great; you get a lot of food for little money.I like to pick up a breakfast burrito -- which they make on the spot -- and latte on my way to volunteer at the Downtown Grower's Market Saturday mornings. They are at the Rail Yard Market on Sundays. For 2023, the Rail Yard Market closes at the end of October. If you don't have time to wait for a custom burrito, bagel sandwich, or traditional sandwich, you can order online through their Google Maps page. They are also on DoorDash and Grubhub. They also offer pastries and salads; the basic fare you'll find at many coffeehouses. They are open weekdays, plus, Saturday. We need more businesses Downtown that are open on the weekend, especially on the east side of the core. Yea! Moka Joe's!“
“Paletas from this location of the Paleta Bar have always been up to standard. Which is to say mighty good on the flavor front & highly diverse with the available topping selections. Staff has been friendly & welcoming, as well as highly proficient at doling out the frozen goodies. I've also tried their aguas and found them to be refreshing and tasty. This Paleta Bar, like the other locations, is an easy recommend for a tasty dessert stop.“
“Really good, it takes time to get your order but it's worth it. The girls are nice too I think Vico took my order shes very friendly. Highly recommend. I got the original and the oreo bubble cone and the acai shake (I forgot to take a picture)“
“Great little restaurant tucked in the South valley with great food and customer service, just about all of the employees there are bilingual which is great for everybody trying experience the culture and food and lastly if you're in the area of isleta and Rio bravo give this place a try .“
“I like I Scream Ice Cream! It's a retro ice cream shop that offers huge selection of ice cream flavors (and toppings). The environment also takes you back in time to see all the fun paraphernalia back in the past. While the ice cream isn't homemade, I think this shop offers a good opportunity to just come and relax and enjoy your time with some cool desserts. You can get to try many flavors in a single order (get upto 3 flavors and a free topping in a cup!) The staff was polite and let me take my sweet time to decide on what I wanted. The serving portion was generous as well. This place was popular! I came in around 7pm and there were 10+ people coming in and out! Very nice and relaxing and just a cool environment to enjoy desserts! I would love to stop by again and love that we have this unique ice cream shop here in this university area!“
