“Wow! What amazing experience. Intimate, small restaurant with cool art work and decor.
Open kitchen concept. My husband was facing away but I got the best view. It was amazing seeing the chef do his work. Not only that but gosh can you clean my kitchen like that?? Kitchen was immaculate.
Food makes this place a destination spot. Food artfully plated. I lick the plate from our heirloom tomato salad. My husband and I are vegetarian and we had the rigatoni with a smoked carrot bolognese.... gosh it sparked so much conversation! Lots of layered flavors. So delicious.
Love love love. Thank you so much for the awesome time 🩷”

“We happened in on this cozy and comfortable wine bar on Thursday, their open mic night. The music was nice and at the right volume. The owners are wonderfully hospitable, helpful with wine selection and serve up great charcuterie boards in addition to a whole host of other food offerings. They also serve beer in a cold pint glass! We will be back. 😊”

“Lee and Dorothy catered a celebration of life event for my husband's passing. The food was delicious and prepared with such care and the layout was beautiful. I received wonderful comments from the guests about the quality and how delicious the food was. The portions were large per person, enough for lots of leftovers. They provided a wonderful drink and water as well as everything for serving and set up.”

“The place was OK. We didn’t realize the place was just a food truck when we looked it up, or that the only area to sit is behind a vacant building next to a gas station. My husband likes his Philly Cheese Steak taco, and my chicken tacos were fine. However, with my order, the portions really amounted to more of a snack than a meal, at a meal price. I think it was 3-4 mini tacos. I left hungry and unimpressed.”

“This is the best chicharron burrito I've ever eaten. Do yourself a favor and go here next time you want a burrito. Don't waste your time going to one of the other places in town that are being run by rude teenagers that mess up your order. This place offers service with a smile by wonderful women.”

“We heard about the Love Apple while planning for our trip to Taos and decided to make sure to include it as a required stop. This place is a must stop if you visit Taos! The ambience of the location makes it perfect for a cozy meal, featuring amazing food and wine. The wait staff was very attentive and welcoming and made our visit top notch. We will definitely be back!”

“We stopped in for ice cream but ended up getting chocolate and raw cacao as well. The shop is quaint and appealing. We got 6 truffles that were all very good. The unique flavor combinations reminded us of a shop we visited in Bruges called The Chocolate Line. The shop host was fun to talk to about chocolate and told us a lot about the owner and her process which made us feel connected and confident supporting this small business. My son wanted to buy the raw cacao beans and she was nice enough to let him try one before he committed to the whole bag (which he did end up buying, after all!). The ice cream was soft almost like gelato and really good!”

“Get your morning boost at Coffee Apothecary next door and go to Bread Club.
While no one talks about what goes on at Bread Club, I will let you in on a secret.
The prosciutto and peach croissant is to die for. Flaky crust and the right mix of savory and sweet.
High altitude baking done right.”

“Sweet Spot Find: It's been over 5+ years since we were last in Taos and one of the highlights back then was the Taos Cow (Arroyo Secco location, more character). We were happy to find that Taos Cow was alive and well with 2 locations now. This is a good place to stop and refuel after a visit to the Taos Pueblo and before walking around the plaza. I ordered the Chocolate Rio Grande ice cream which was enjoyable, and I could taste the pinon nuts, however, I was expecting the ice cream to be more creamy. My friends ordered the green chile chicken stew and avocado toast, both of which were very tasty and recommended options if one needs just a snack before the next meal. The green chile stew had a good amount of chicken and the flavors were satisfying. The avocado toast was generous and topped with pink pickled red onions and microgreens, a nice touch. The service was nothing special, and not overly friendly. Other patrons were ordering burritos, so probably worth trying those. The vibe is definitely Taos casual with covered patio seating and outdoor seating on picnic benches and metal chairs, and plasticware. I can see how this would be a great place to hang out during warmer weather. Check it out if you're in the area.”

“Strange. Many interesting offerings but I live near Hispanic stores in NYC and should be able to get all there. Store was so large compared to contents made me wonder why. Cheap rent, wacky rules, mismanagement, competition, something else?”

“A dining room fit for royalty I discovered this resort and restaurant through Chatgpt and was not disappointed. This is one of the most beautiful dining rooms I've seen in a long time. The food and service were excellent. The highlights of our meal included the green chilie bread and the s'mores volcano--it looks like a Baked Alaska but instead of meringue, the toasted topping is marshmallow with chocolate cake, graham crackers, and hazelnut ice cream inside.”

“Was fairly expensive, but everything we had was good. It was very well plated. We arrived in Taos on a Sunday night and didn't realize the majority of the restaurants were closed. We were grateful this was open and we were able to get in right away.
They gave an amuse bouche before dinner that was beautiful and had good flavor, but seemed like it had been prepared much earlier.
Their drink menu is great.”

“If you love Mexican food (not New Mexican, big difference) than this is definitely the place for you. A very authentic experience with sizable portions and great rice and beans. I highly recommend the Chile Verde. We went here based on a recommendation from a friend and we're so happy we discovered this place! If you're a fan of Mexican, you can't go wrong with this place. And there are two locations - one just as you enter into Taos along the highway and the other on the north end of town on the same highway. Great food 👍🔥💯”

“So disappointed that this restaurant has never reopened for dining in. We live an hour and a half away and used to eat here often. It's too far away to get take out. If I pay for a meal, I prefer to be waited on. Haven't eaten here in 2 years for those reasons.”

“The food and drinks were AMAZING!! We went here for our 30th anniversary. I had the Bison Tender Loin which was flavored and cooked to perfection and the carrot puree and broccolini were perfect compliments. The wife had King Salmon and it too was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We started with the Jumbo lump crab cake and was leery about the pimento cheese but after trying it it too as excellent! Wish I knew the Maitre D name but he was very accommodating and helpful. P.S. Make reservations for the dining room even on a Monday!!! The ambiance was phenomenal dining with the apple trees made for a perfect anniversary dinner. If ever in Taos this is a must on your bucket list and I know we will be back.”
