“This place is awesome. This is the closest I've ever had to a home cooked meal at a restaurant. They cook carnitas every week, and they always turn out incredible. The cooks and butchers are super friendly as well as all the cashiers. I cannot recommend this place enough.Vegetarian options: Bean burritos with rice or quesadillas.“

“They have the best Asada fries, they are so good,I get them all the time we go get food there that's what I usually order. I think they are bomb could eat them like every other night and not get tired of it either. Anyways they give a really generous sized amount of them as well it usually is enough for myself to eat then, and save some for my lunch the next day, just warm up in microwave and had more salsa, and it's still yummy. Or sometimes it's even big enough that I have to share an order with another family member so it's really worth the bucks it cost for that dish I think so . Also they have decent service of you stay and eat inside, it's way faster to get the food if you stay to eat there rather then ordering it to go and eating elsewhere because they have a long wait time while they get it all ready for you to pick it up. They usually say like a 45 minutes till its ready, my husband hates waiting for that long of time period for food but it is what it is, so we don't eat from there as much as I would like to because he wants to order out mostly but won't wait long like that for food, only sometimes he will be OK with it and that's when we go. Take service is nice and fast and food is ready quickly and they always make sure it's not long between the times they do Walk by to check on you. And it's clean the atmosphere is nice and you don't need To be dressed all fancy to go there is super casual dinning. It's great food. Try it.“

“I actually meant to give a 5 STAR rating.The food was excellent ?I should know, I'm Hispanic/ Native.The service was great! Very well attentive.Very clean and very nice all around in side.The one thing that iritated us is when I over heard one women of three said the water tasted tatined. Are you kidding me! How could that be! It's the same dang water you drink from your tap in your house!! Just something an entitled person land ooks for feels privileged to gripe about.Otherwise, this our gk to restaurant.“

“I believe this is El Yusa, or, the RED TACO truck like all the locals call it. He parks here in the old G lot all week long except Mondays I believe. I've pretty much tried everything and it is all very delicious. The gorditas de carnitas are amazing. The lengua and cabeza Tacos never disappoint. Even the cheeseburger ? is good with jalapeños on it. The quesabirrias are always good. And my son loves the chicken quesadias. Tonight, I am having the fish Tacos and ceviche tostada, so far so good. This place is a must try if in Y-Town, he is located on Main St and can't miss him. Tell him I sent you and you won't be disappointed.?“

“Probably one of the best Mexican places I've eaten anywhere (not just Yerington, but even compared to places I've eaten in Fernley, Reno, Tucson, etc).The meats are a cut above what you usually expect.It is clean but the décor isn't fancy, the outside doesn't have great curb appeal; but that doesn't really matter because the food is good!Only food "negative" I could say is the chips aren't that special. Not bad, just not as good as other places (but salsa is good).My favorites: a sampling of street tacos with different meats (al pastor, carnitas, asada, pescado, chorizo) & the wet carnitas burrito. Amazing Chile Renos too.“

“Stopped here on the way from the bay area to Walker Lake. We were very hungry by the time we got here. We needed something fast so we stopped and got some tortas de pollo to eat on the road. The atmosphere was so so but the restaurant was clean and food fresh. Young girl working in the middle of the afternoon was super friendly and made us a couple of great sandwiches which included generous portions of hot crispy french fries. Spent a lot of time in Mexicali and Calexico and this food was as good as any we've had there. Highly recommended and will stop by again for a real sit-down meal next time we're in Yerington.“
