“I came from Long Island and was excited to try plantain sandwiches from this restaurant, given that I've been seeing them on Instagram for a while and I like their concept. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a Bunnan employee named Aviana. She was very kind and recommended that I try the Sweet-Plantain boat with jerk chicken. It was delicious! The flavor and spice in the jerk chicken were amazing, and I enjoyed it so much that I ordered another one for later. I highly recommend it, 10/10.“

“I finally decided to try this place after walking by it dozens of times and I wish I did sooner. The veggie bouillon is delicious and I've been craving it almost every day since I've had it. The veggies were expertly cooked and tender and the legume patty was large and delicious and a steal at $3 during lunch. I've since returned for the pumpkin soup and spinach patty which I didn't enjoy quite as much but were still good. Great place to stop for lunch or a patty to snack on. Clearly labeled vegan options which I always appreciate“

My boy Big Q is the best, he always has a big smile on his face and give me and my son high-fives everytime we come in! The juice is amazing, but the Rasta Pasta is the kicker. I can't stop eating here, I come every day and I've gained 40 pounds this year! :-) Every meal every day is The Juicy Box! My son has autism and loves eating here. He can walk now with the Rasta Pasta in his tummy. Please keep cooking this soul food. The entire city needs to know about the power of this cooking!“

“I don't like to cater hot soup in a plastic container that could be used for paint. Although I told him a security deposit for an aluminum container, the extremely hot soup was put in a plastic container. The whole thing would have been put in a heavy-duty doubled up aluminum tray.“

“I used to visit this location in 2011 when I was in High School to get some Haitian food. I loved the food. The last time I visited for some Haitian patties at the last minute. The lady greeted me and helped me out right away when it was my turn. A bit pricey, but since it was last minute I couldn’t complain. Maybe next time I’ll review the taste, this time the patties weren’t mine.Parking: Street parkings are available depends on the time. I park next to the supermarket, it seems like a great place to park since people are coming and leaving fast“

When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into the restaurant, and the food was ready. I paid about $18 for the medium size and left. When I dug in, the food was really good. I enjoyed the turker and the black rice. All in all I had a good experience.“

Yoyo Fritaille Haitian • $$

“The food was very different. The purity and freshness of the pickled cabbage. I have seen a big old piece of fat that was humorously delicious! It was moist and it was very lean. I tried the had the fried pork shoulder. It was well seasoned. I had to drink it down with a Haitian Beer that was called Prestige. The service was not time consuming. I had to wait for a while but the people around me were just so anxious to eat. It was so good the lady behind me had to get 3 plates for her family also.“

“All right, so when it comes to good food, I'm all about the vibes. I was put on to this Haitian food spot on the way back from Dumbo looking for quality food outside with that home cooked vibe and I'm so happy I stopped by. Food: I got the poulet in sauce with rice and beans ----IT SLAPPED !!!!!!!!! The pickliz was one of the best I have ever tasted & the bunnan was so fresh and tasty I suggest you dipping it in the chicken sauce LAWD A MERCY! Lol I posted a before and after pic of the plate because I want you all to know how Good it was lol and it's definitely shareable I split it with someone else and it was perfection Ambiance: It's a small restaurant, has seating but not a lot of people and I personally didn't go inside to pick up the food but I heard the owner is sweet. I guess that goes with service as well I heard they look out for you especially when your Haitian so much respect although I'm not Haitian it's a good look to look out for your people no matter what background. Don't forget to put the sauce on the rice and beans and the pickliz on pretty much everything. I won't point you in the wrong direction Must try if you're looking for good Haitian cuisine for a good price...I forgot to mention they only take cash and for this good meal it came to 10$“
