The last time we went we sat in the back of the restaurant past the kitchen, which is quite crowded. “Truly enjoyed my first omakase experience. I got so lucky to have Yama-san to be my chef for the night. His skills were amazing and each nigiri was served with a smile and hospitality. I am sure there are omakases out there that deserve the highest praises but for me, I’ll hold this experience dear because each and every course I had were so heartwarming and I could see the integrity in Yama-san as a sushi chef. I came to this omakase alone but I did not feel as such because he made me feel welcomed. I did not think I would learn so much in an hour, while being served food. That's what it feels like.The size of the rice is just right, neither too small nor too big.The grip is perfect, and it feels fluffy when you put it in your mouth. I'm grateful for the sushi that doesn't have too much sushi.The ingredients were also fresh.10 kan and one roll may seem like a small amount at first glance, but you'll feel full after eating them. Just the right amount.We also offer roasted green tea when you pay.The atmosphere inside the store is calm and the restrooms are clean.In addition to counter seats, there are also table seats. Since I am a pure edomae enthusiast, an offering of Wagyu sushi (an extra price, of course i did not order bz it is not a pure edomae tradition) was disappointment to me since smoke smelling of wagyu beef spread all over the sushi bar. “This restaurant opened a couple weeks ago, right next to the Baccarat Hotel ground floor! I have tried many Omakase places, but the chef Anthony Inn served dishes I have never tried. Presentation, Balanced flavor, Texture, Aroma, Execution, all there! Taru has everything from Omakase, Cooked Dishes, and Fantastic Dessert Selections. The Pastry Chef Natsume Aoi is perfection! Her deserts are must try! Also, there's a beautiful bar at the front with a great selection of cocktails, wine, sake, and scotch! “I did like this place. The interior has a cool, almost grungy feel to it which I loved. I will say the fish wasn’t as fresh as other sushi restaurants I have been to in New York and although the sushi was well made there were some dishes that felt like they had been rushed. The edamame for example tasted soft, microwaved. However, the price was so reasonable that I could forgive some of small criticisms. The whole experience was really enjoyable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.“

The meal last around 2.5 hours and is $250 per person.Our favorite dishes were;Lobster - this was probably the best lobster I've ever had. Favorite dish of the omakase.Sardine - sardine usually isn't my favorite piece of sushi but the way Takeda does it is excellent.Golden Eye Snapper - what we enjoyed about Takeda was they don't serve the usual roundup of fish. Never had golden eye snapper and it was delicious. Vegetable Tempura - a fried tempura ball of vegetables, simple but great.Chu Toro - excellent.Striped jack - excellent.The service was top notch, our waitress explained each piece of fish to us and was very attentive. Highly recommend Takeda if you're looking for top level sushi.“

As for the food we had a total of 24 courses (including the night's add-ons) and we loved every single bite.
